- Were I not a Van Eijkel, I might have gazed from that window with indifference while those ruffians shattered my mother’s favorite sculpture over by the porch. Yet my heart could not bear it. Go see for yourself what they’ve done.

- This sculpture was a treasured family heirloom. When they couldn’t find a way inside the house, the vandals nearly destroyed this masterpiece out of frustration. A righteous anger stirred within me when I saw it.
