- Di Fiori wasn't the only one who used nut oil instead of linseed oil when diluting with oil paintings. So this oil alone doesn't prove he was on the patio. But if we have "Roman pigments" that's a different story! I'm so glad I studied up...look for that pigment on the patio. Meanwhile I'll do some more research.

- This special Italian pigment has been used by painters since ancient Roman times! Giovanni di Fiori used it a lot too. There is no doubt that this mysterious painter is Italian.
