If he was looking for the source of talent in inventions, then he surely remembered Caravaggio’s Chiaroscuro! Look for his lantern in the Patio!
Completed: The Italian genius Caravaggio drew paintings using the chiaroscuro technique, or "light and shade." He tried to show that "things look different in different light." He wanted to influence reality!
