- Oh my God. This time Valerie was gone. She was in front of the mirror in the café, trying to fix her makeup. At exactly midnight, a huge sailing ship appeared. The ghost ship headed straight for us. The mirror shattered into tiny pieces, and one of the pieces went straight through Valerie's heart. She collapsed to the floor and vanished before my eyes. Before she vanished, Valerie had boasted that she had tried on the old pirate's tricorn hat. Find her.
