- After death, a person’s spirit is weighed on the Scales of Destiny. If it is lighter than a feather, then it disappears into the aether. On the other hand, if the spirit is weighed down by sins or unfinished business, it turns into a ghost. Ghosts carry these very feathers with them. We’re going to need some to make the charm.
