Completed: I guess I was mistaken. It appears that the paint on these tools is not blood but paint. Rumor has it that she used only one set of tools. It was a gift from her mentor who discovered and nurtured her talent. Even after she became successful and wealthy, she continued to create masterpieces using only the old tools.
