- Last night a light gathered at the observatory, but before that there was something else. Yesterday morning, a package arrived at my doorstep. It was a seemingly ordinary, blue sealed waxed thing. I assumed it must have come from the Upper City. I often order items from them. Would you like to see the real thing?

- This is the box. Some of the sealing wax has come off. I opened it as soon as I received it. There was nothing on the box about what was inside, so I wanted to know quickly what I had been sent. Imagine my surprise when I saw what was inside.
