Description: Even though there are many suspicious items in Clarissa Stokes' house, we need hard evidence that the Mrs. S in the defender's report is her. If she was participating in the surprise attack on the monster, she must have used some special device. Did you see a dowsing pendulum or something?
Completed: That's as good as it gets. The dowsing pendulum I was talking about is exactly what this is. The defenders use it to locate monster nests. According to the report, Mrs. S. poured special energy into the pendulum. Maybe Leyden's grandmother had a hidden side of being a scientist?
