- Description
- On the day of the summer solstice, called Shanti, your ancestors would build a big bonfire. They believed that by doing so, the sun would come closer to the earth. We can't have bonfires in the city, but instead we are going to decorate the town square with festive flags. Please help us cut out the flags.
- Completed
- You have made a lovely flag! The Shanti Festival is truly enchanting! Long ago, on the eve of the Shanti Festival, our ancestors sat in the dark and thought of a time when there was no fire, no warmth or comfort, no hot food. That's how much our ancestors cherished fire!
