- The ritual to break the link between Talisa and her mirror can momentarily increase the flow of magic, and I fear the witch will be able to slip into the City. I’ve enchanted an old padlock that will block her path. If my magic works, the lock should be glowing. Check it.

- Great, the enchanted padlock is glowing, which means the blizzard witch won’t be able to break into the City and harm us. This padlock was used to lock the chest full of Christmas tree decorations when they’re stored in the attic until the next holiday. So, there is more than enough Christmas magic in it.
