- I’m sure someone broke into Charles’s house and tried to cover his or her tracks afterward but did so hastily and missed something! Look at the doorjamb - see the compasses stuck into it? Please get them out!

- Thank you for pulling out the stuck compasses; I couldn’t reach them myself. Why would they be lodged into the doorjamb? Charles is a neat guy. Maybe he was trying to use them to fight someone off?
