Talking to a Missing Man

Exploration Stage: Collector’s House
From: Martha
Description: I’ve already thought on this puzzle. It seems the stars were in poor alignment for the Captain and he became a ghost again. And we facilitated it. I’ll try to talk to him, and you can help me. Find some old tailoring scissors, use them to cut a piece of Red Ribbon and bring it all to me.
Completed: Now get the Flying Dutchman’s journal from your cache. Don’t look so surprised, I know you’ve been reading it. Open it on any page, put the scissors inside, close it, wrap it in the Red Ribbon and wait. I’ll say a spell and the Captain’s ghost will appear.
