Reverse Protection

Exploration Stage: Monster Hotel
From: Shaad
Description: Ludwig suspects the attacker is actually a writer doing undercover research on vampire-kind. I don’t agree. As he fled, the attacker threw an amulet at my face. He missed, and it flew off into the shadows. Mind fetching it for me? Could tell us something valuable.
Completed: Thanks for finding this amulet. The color of the ruby is unique; it’s as dark as blood. Vampires love rubies. Just ask Ludwig! If the amulet was supposed to scare me, doesn’t seem like an effective strategy. Maybe it was meant to be a lure?
