- Valerie's description suggests she encountered Psy-werewolf. Supponsedly, some monstrous half-human-half-spirits conducted secret experiments to develop their psychic abilities to search for powerful artifacts. To pacify a psy-werewolf you need a Taser - I think the monsters' memories associate it with instruments of torture. I've mislaid my Taser, you'll have to look for it.
