- This manticore is really strong and, even though I now have a magically-charged machete, I simply might be too slow to deal a death blow. I have an idea: manticores are nocturnal creatures, just like werewolves, meaning they're afraid of bright light. I've seen signal flares in the crashed plane. Their light is so bright, it can blind monsters. Find me a signal rocket.
