- The creatures of the other world will be outraged if the Ball of the Immortals is not held. That's what the Dark One wants. We need to get Karoun's boat back from the Snake River before the long midnight hour is over! Can you help me get a ball of algae out of the river? I'll explain why later.

- You cast a spell on the ball of algae they brought you and tie the end to the dock. Then give the other end to the river spirit. I'll have them stretch it all the way to the boat in Carone. That should free the boat that got caught in the complicated Snake River current.
