Description: There were a lot of people in the cafe that day, but I couldn't take my eyes off Francesca. That's just as well, because ...... she really was perfect! By comparison, I was wearing an old suit and had a pencil clamped over my ear....... Come to think of it, my wife still has that pencil. It's part of a decorative object.
Completed: Francesca has a knack for using ordinary items to create something beautiful. This old pencil is a good example. I am so glad I had the courage to talk to her at the cafe. Normally I would never talk to a stranger...but maybe it was the rain. If she hadn't gotten wet, I would never have found an excuse to buy her a cup of tea.
