  • broad-brimmed

    Isabelle

I kind of feel like I'm getting to know the gang's fashion sense more and more as we work. According to Juliette, this hat is a Borsalino hat. Bring it to me. I know who it belongs to. Hopefully this will pave the way to the secret lair of the legendary Five Families.

You found a Borsalino hat! This one belongs to Jim Ribinolli. He's the guy who went against one of the five big family bosses. Typically, there's always a reason for betrayal. But we don't have time to go over all the details. We're close to opening the door to the Mafia's secret lair.

  • Precious container

    Agent Jones

You seem to have lost your mind, Detective, suspecting involvement with an evil cult. Then how about we make a deal? Bring me the container of my book that was confiscated when you were captured by the detectives. I will prove to you that it is not an item influenced by witchcraft.

You are a wonderful person! As you can see, there is nothing magical about this book container. Nevertheless, I am relieved that this book container, including the key, is safe. I'm sure the detectives would have a temper tantrum if they knew you returned this to me. What? He already knows? That's too bad. I was so happy that you and I could keep our little secret...

    Hidden Row

  • dark horse

    Detective

This Jones, who pretends to be an agent, with all his falsehoods about important events and ciphers in the newspapers... I'm pretty sure it was the shadow cult that gave him the assignment, not the command center. The chain fell on the cobblestones right next to Jones. That's the same one worn by the Shadow's disciples. Let's check it out, buddy.

Okay, you found the chain. Based on the symbol, it seems certain that this was made for a "shadow" apprentice. And it seems that this abominable accessory belongs to Jones. But a werewolf would never attack a "shadow" apprentice...

  • Foundations

    Rayden Storke

Can you see why Keira is so eager to put the puzzle together? Everyone in the City of Shadows is desperate to get something related to their family. Let's find a three-dimensional puzzle to use as the foundation for the pyramid of fireflies.

So you found a three-dimensional puzzle. That's great! From what Keira told me, her father was not the type of person who would make a run-of-the-mill puzzle. The pyramid of fireflies she is trying to assemble is probably no ordinary toy.

    Foggy Backstreet

  • Elegant items

    Juliette

Oh, there's a trilby hat on the tree. Please go get it. That way I'll know whose hat it is. I don't think I can reach it. I bet it's one of the five hats needed to pave the way to the Mafia's secret lair.

Thanks for bringing the trilby hat. What a graceful gem. It has a name on it. "Emilio Ruppolo." That's exactly what we've been looking for. Only three hats left of the men who betrayed the Cosa Nostra. That should pave the way to the Mafia's secret lair.

    Angela's Park

  • A hatter's nightmare

    Inspector

There is a reason why the Mafia bosses named the traitors in their last message. Perhaps the names are in the hats that are scattered all over the clearing in the woods. Let's start at the beginning of the list. Look for Giuseppe Armano's hat. Hopefully I'll find it as I expect.

I see that this luxury fedora hat has a tag with the letter G on it. It belongs to Armano. I hate to think about the fact that its owner is dead. I shudder to think about it. Find another hat. It will lead us to the secret lair of the Five Families.

  • King of glitter and poverty

    Inspector

I think I saw a cigar case with "Lecony" inscribed on the corner there. Yes, the Lecony family is the oldest mafia family in New York City. But it started out as a mere street gang in Brooklyn. Bring me that cigar case. That'll give Lucky a clue as to the Mafia's secret lair! I can't wait to find out what is hidden there.

That's a Lecony cigar case. It's the only one made of wood! Looks like at least one of the Five Families had moderation. That doesn't mean he was a nice guy, though: their boss was shot dead by Vito Giovenezo himself in 1925. This was the beginning of a war between Mafia families. We all know how it ended. Lucky must be happy with what we've got. Perhaps now he will tell us about his secret lair.

    Angela's Park

  • Second Name

    Detective

Well, here's why we spent so much time looking for this cigar case! You see, the Colombino family used to call themselves the Profitt family. In honor of their boss, Joe Proffitt. We need to find something with that name engraved on it. We can't stop here! We've collected almost all the cigar cases. If we find two more, Lucky will lead us to the secret lair of the Five Families. And we'll find out about Ms. Crawley.

Good job, buddy! My guess was right. We found a cigar case labeled Joe Proffitt. But this one belongs to the Colombino family. We've collected almost all of the cigar cases. One more to go. That'll give us Lucky's next clue.

  • Messages from distant lands

    Agent Jones

My name is Jones. I came to this city on orders from the command center. I am to receive my mission instructions through messages in the newspaper. There will be a special crossword puzzle for me in the newspaper. Would you like to see it? Why don't you try your hand at it? Yesterday's newspaper is on the stand there. Please look for it.

As you may have already noticed, this newspaper is not published in this city. And the crossword puzzle in the entertainment section is, what can I say...not for amateurs. Let me tell you how to unravel some of the messages. You read only the second letter of the first word in the question.

    Hidden Row

  • suspicious character (person, figure)

    Detective

We need to find out what the connection is between this guy and the shadow cult. We also need to find out why he left things at the homes of the residents and why those five were chosen... Hey, it looks like the female hunter's decoction helped her regain consciousness. I'm sure a lot of things will come to light soon. In the meantime, let's take a look at this guy's ID.

That's a hell of a lot of paperwork. Is this guy a journalist? Or maybe he's a doctor... or a lawyer. Hey, these are all fakes! Well done... the photos are all the same, but the names are different on each document. Which one is this guy's real name? Who the hell is this guy?

    Hidden Row

  • Let there be light!

    Isabelle

According to my anomaly analyzer, an unusual level of magic was detected during the fight. So it looks like the werewolf appeared in response to something else, not the man. To confirm this, we can follow the fire serpent anomaly into the pack. That should take care of the werewolf and you should be good to go. Be sure to return it later.

Looks like it worked. The wave of black magic being created by the fire serpent anomaly is weakening the magic on the werewolf. See, the monsters are waking up and fleeing!

    Hidden Row

  • Weapons that stun the enemy

    Huntress

That guy the detective is chasing is putting up a good fight against a bunch of werewolves! By the way, those monsters look like they've been hypnotized. They don't run away no matter what I do, and they don't seem to feel any pain when they're attacked. Hey, can you bring me the slingshot I use when I hunt? I can teach you how to use it. I'm going to help him out.

This slingshot is a simple but reliable weapon. Hold the pachinko firmly and set it down with whatever you have to replace the bullets. And aim at the werewolf's hairy face! Okay, here we go. Pull carefully... yes, now! Bravo! I got him!

    Hidden Row

  • pinch

    Detective

We still don't know who these newcomers are, but if they are being attacked by werewolves, we need to help them. But to do that, we'll need something more powerful than a pitchfork... yes, can you bring the ultrasonic blaster that the professor made for us?

I've used ultrasonic blasters to scare off monsters many times before, but it doesn't seem to be working so well this time... those werewolves are rampaging instead of running away. Look at that guy, he's frantically punching away...he seems to have mastered the technique of bare-knuckle fighting!

    Hidden Row

  • Abnormal Movement

    Huntress

Looks like the werewolves have gone hunting, even though the full moon is still a long way off. This must definitely have something to do with the shadow cult! I'll try to scare them off using the characteristic pitchfork... yes, I left it at Isabelle's place! I was going to have her add runes to it to make it an even more powerful weapon. Hurry up and go get it!

This projectile, powered by runes, makes a loud noise when you twist it. Werewolves don't like the sound and usually run away quickly... but most of them don't seem to shy away.

    Hidden Row

  • Keep the tracks safe.

    Conductor

Ah, the hardest part of the work is finally done. Just a few more details need to be worked out to build the track for the ghost train. Fasteners. Go get the dog nails.

Finding a lot of dog nails was definitely a good decision. I just hope there are enough to lay tracks for the ghost train.

    Station

  • tree linkage

    Conductor

At night, I can't sleep because of the rattling noise of the ghost train. I have to build a track and connect the cul-de-sac tracks to the main line so the train can leave. Besides the tracks, we also need sleepers. Bring them to me... and hurry up.

Thank God, the sleepers aren't as heavy as the tracks. But I still need more. I have to work a little more. I never thought it would be this hard to make tracks for a ghost train.

    Collector's House

  • Modern atmosphere

    Inspector

Strange...no ticket booth here, no one to check tickets. It's all the rage now! Okay, why don't we sit right in front of the troops? From there, you can hear the play and clearly see the wonderful costumes and decorations.

That's fantastic! As soon as I got to my seat, the actor and actress went in opposite directions and I froze. The actress stopped moving in the dark. The male actor's last line was about someone not on stage...their voices stuck and disappeared. Is this part of the play?

    Summer Theater Stage

  • Glitter and strife

    Inspector

Did Alex really know this? There's a cigar case with the Giovenezo family name on it, but it's covered in diamonds, isn't it? Whatever it is, find all the cigar cases anyway. Then we can ask Lucky about the mafia's secret hideout.

Oh, the diamonds on this Giovenezo cigar case are just sparkling! Let's find another cigar case and get this job done, shall we? Speaking of Vito Giovenezo, he is thought to be one of the men who started the famous Castellammarese War. It's the case where the gangsters fought for the dispatch of New York City. Hopefully Lucky will be satisfied.

    Angela's Park

  • Barrier of thorns

    Detective

It turns out that the guy who showed up in this town and left things in the homes of the residents is related to the cult of shadows. But if he is being attacked by werewolves, he must not be a disciple of the Shadow. Look, he's surrounded by werewolves! Okay, we'll use the same strategy here. We're going to surround these werewolves with silver water chestnuts made of pure silver. Hurry up and find them!

Buddy, scatter the silver ginglings on the streets where they are hidden. It should distract the monsters and prevent them from entering the residential area. Werewolves don't like sharp objects. They'll be in a panic!

    Hidden Row

  • A slightly different vase

    Lady

It seems that my mansion has been visited by a...well...newcomer. But nothing that belongs to me is missing. On the contrary, there seems to be more stuff. Someone left an elegant bouquet holder. I was going to give it to the detective, but I think I dropped it somewhere... can you help me find it?

It's a very beautiful and elegant bouquet holder, but if you put flowers in it, they die quickly. Besides, ever since I found it, I have been having a lot of dark thoughts. I would never have done that before. Whoever left it must be good at putting people under psychological pressure.

    Hidden Row

  • Living a life of luxury is not a sin.

    Alex

Have my eyes gone crazy, or do you see a gold cigar case on that bench? I'm pretty sure that's Carlo Gambito's. He was the model for Vito Corleone in "The Godfather. Have you seen that movie? You haven't seen it? Well, forget about the movie. Just bring me that cigar case. Lucky will tell you where the Mafia is hiding. Without him, we can't save Angela Crowley.

Wow, those mobsters must have lived in luxury! What's next, a cigar case covered in diamonds? Anyway, I need all five of the cigar cases to finally get Lucky to tell me about the Mafia's secret lair.

    Angela's Park

  • fashionable characters

    Detective

Let's get to work, buddy! I don't know which of the five cigar cases belongs to Lucky. I don't even want to guess. Let's just get them all. Then he'll tell us about the Mafia's secret lair. Okay, the first cigar case belongs to Joseph Bonini. His nickname is Banana Joe. Interestingly, Lucky Lucaccio set up a commission of bosses. Bonini was the youngest of the bosses. He was only 26 years old. I find a Banana Joe cigar case. Judging from the photo, it's made of leather.

This is the Bonini cigar case. It's made of leather and has his name on it. Surprisingly smooth. Not bad to have one of these. Look for another cigar case. Maybe then Lucky will be able to light a fire and give us some clues. About the secret lair of the Five Families.

  • Remarkable writing speed

    Adeline Svensson

The detective told me to go through all of my belongings and let him know if I noticed anything unusual. Then I found a finger pen in my home. I don't know if it has anything to do with the investigation, but I thought it would be a good idea to report it... now, let me show you the pen.

I actually need to get rid of this finger pen. It's nice to have this to speed up my writing, but it makes my articles look weird, as if someone is blowing evil stories into my head. I wonder if whoever left this behind is trying to scare the readers?

    Hidden Row

  • Clever substitution

    Mayor

The detective told me that the house was burglarized, but nothing in particular was taken. There are not many things in this house to begin with. Ghosts have no attachment to things. But it looks like someone left a fake city stamp! Look at this. It looks just like the real thing, doesn't it?

Someone had replaced the real stamp with a fake and hidden the real one on my nightstand. I am sure I would not have noticed if the detectives had not examined my belongings in detail. Perhaps they switched the stamps in order to make the law ineffective.

    Hidden Row

  • Historic Miracle

    Detective

We finally did it! Now all I have to do is find the last lighter. I can decipher Grandpa Joe Volani's mysterious clues about the Mafia's secret lair. I think we should look for something antique. Something handmade a long time ago. A lighter like that is a symbol of respect and trust. How do I know that? Well, nowadays I only smoke one cigarette a day, but I used to smoke like a chimney!

How's that guy? He's pretty strange, isn't he? This model has a funny shape, like diving equipment. While looking for a lighter for the bosses of the five major mafias, he found a piece of paper that said... what does it say?

    Angela's Park

  • In honor of the volcano

    Detective

If I'm not mistaken, the writer we should be looking for has to do with Italy. One that fits our Sicilian friends. Unfortunately, I have no clue which model you are talking about. You'll have to find it yourself. I hope you find it. Otherwise, you won't find any clues about the Mafia's secret hideout.

Oh, well done! Nice job! Look at this lighter, it's perfectly stylish. How very Italian. This one was made in honor of the 1936 eruption of Etna. Now we have to find the last lighter. That'll give us the "receive the Lord's blessing" that Borrani was talking about. Hopefully, with that "blessing," that is, his "clue," we can somehow crack the code right.

    Angela's Park

  • Small mechanical devices

    Inspector

I'm sure those mafia bosses would have all the meticulous gadgets. Automatic lighters, for example. It's a combination of convenience and style. Find it. That's how you get close to the mystery of the Mafia's secret lair.

Wow, this is one of the first automatic lighters made! These were all the rage back then. I never thought I'd see one of these in the City of Shadows. I used to have one just like it. I'm getting a little sentimental about it, to tell you the truth...yeah, but that's not important!

    Angela's Park

  • Extra parts

    Professor

I went through the lab again, and nothing seems to be missing. On the contrary, there are devices in there that were not there before... I tend to work on several inventions at the same time, but the mechanical hand that I found when I was going through the lab was clearly not made by me. Come here, come here. Let me show you.

These mechanized hands were undoubtedly made by the finest craftsmen. They use techniques I have never seen before. But the peculiar rhythm of these fingers prevents them from working at all. Perhaps it was placed there by a rival scientist...

    Hidden Row

  • The one hated by the goddess of fortune.

    Cardsharp

Detectives want to know the invitation of a fleeing newcomer to the mansion. He asked me if anything was stolen from my place, but nothing is missing, on the contrary, I got something nice. I have a pair of cufflinks, but for some reason I haven't had any luck with them since I found them... If you ever find those cufflinks, please take them, I'd really appreciate it.

You think I'm lucky to find these spade cufflinks? Well, too bad. They bring terrible bad luck. They're cool and expensive, but there's something wrong with them... they make me think weird thoughts. Whoever left it behind must be a magician.

    Hidden Row

  • Find the key.

    Detective

I almost caught up with the thief, but that guy suddenly turned a corner and went into a path. That's when I heard a jingle and something hit the ground. Probably he dropped a key or something on purpose to throw me off. Look for it.

What's that? Jingler key... just as I thought! He dropped this on purpose to try to sow me. Let's take a closer look. I've seen plenty of jingler keys in my day, but this one is pretty first class! It's hard to imagine a thief with a tool like this going into a robbery unplanned...

    Hidden Row

  • Stylish accessories

    Juliette

If there's something that glitters in an exaggerated way, that's the writer we're looking for. In my opinion, those fashionable little things are more suited to women. But we needed a writer like that to tell these maifas where the secret hideouts of the Five Families are. That's what we should look for.

There you have it! It looks like something between a harmonica and a gold bar. I wonder who in the Mafia had one of these...must have been someone in fancy pants. Okay, let's find the rest of the lighter. That should give us a clue to the secret lair of the Five Families.

    Angela's Park

  • Always in style.

    Detective

Joe Borrani's message said it was a source of flame at the station. My guess is that he was referring to an expensive lighter. The kind the Mafia would flick in front of a gasoline-soaked prisoner. Buddy, we need to find five lighters used by the bosses of the five major Mafia families. If you do, you'll get the next clue that will lead you to the Mafia's secret hideout! Watch carefully. Good luck finding them.

Oh, this lighter is a real traditional one! You can literally follow American history by tracing models from different eras, did you know? Take, for example, this simple one you found. It has no markings or decorations on it. This is one of the first collector models from the 30's. Find another lighter. That'll give us a clue to the Mafia's secret lair.

    Angela's Park

  • Difficult line

    Conductor

We need to put a connecting track so that the ghost train can get onto the main line and depart. I would be happy to bring the tracks.

What heavy tracks. Is it possible that the next set of tracks I find will be lighter? I wish I could put down ghost train tracks without more physical exertion.

    Station

  • Lombardy Tunnel

    Conductor

The girls have already assembled the route and even decorated the tree. Hmmm...but they're still missing the most important thing. The Sanetti and the tunnel. I know it's not easy, but I'm sure you can find it.

That was a very quick turnaround! The Sanetti and the tunnel we found are the only things missing from the toys on this route.

    Cards of Fate

  • Surroundings

    Valerie

This line is kind of boring. I know what's missing! Just decorate it with toy trees and rocks. It will make the line more authentic. Go get some scenic toys. I saw some near the concession stand.

Once I got the details in place with the scenery toys, the line looked like the real thing! I can just imagine being a first class passenger and looking out the window at the view.

    Station

  • Railroad Track Crossing

    Huntress

I wouldn't call the line complete without a railroad crossing. Now, let's find that part of the toy on the platform.

What a fun toy for a railroad crossing! When the crossing comes down, there's a miniature car and a man on a horse waiting for you on the side.

    Station

  • railroad bridge over a river

    Isabelle

From what I recall, the Sanetti's route crossed several rivers. I'll have to find a bridge toy to cross the water that would get in the way. I believe there were several bridges between the passengers' luggage. Can you bring them to me?

Wow, this bridge toy looks so real! How accurate in every detail. Even down to the tiniest detail! Yes, the puppeteer is a genius.

    Collector's House

  • Glow Traps

    Kira Woodville

You get to assemble the pyramid of fireflies together. The main part of this puzzle is the pyramid maze. It must be somewhere in the city, so let's find it together.

The pyramid maze you found is yellow. The pyramid of fireflies my father gave me when I was a child was also this color. With this, will I be able to find my parents?

    Foggy Backstreet

  • Railroad Tracks and Sleepers

    Conductor

To release all the passengers and detectives, we need to find the parts of the train made by the puppeteer. I think I saw a toy train line on the platform. Can you bring it to me?

The toy train line you found is an exact replica of the real Sanetti's route. Look, there's even an arrow to move to another line!

    Station

  • Communication Methods

    Cardsharp

It's important to know all about the trip on the Sanetti. But that kid has been cancerously silent, hasn't he? I thought you said he couldn't talk. You should find a drawing board. Then the driver's son could write something and answer. Hopefully he can explain something.

Bring that drawing board here! This will make communication easier. I wrote something. Play with me. She keeps writing the same thing over and over again! He's annoyed Juliette, and now me. Friends, is this game going to save the train man or the father? It seems pointless to rely on this child.

    Station

  • Signal for departure

    Isabelle

Among the fixtures on the Sanetti was a station bell. A boy was pointing at it, trying to say something with a gesture. He was kind of talking about train departures. Bring the bell. Maybe we can figure out what it is.

From what I understand, the driver gave the toy train to his son before the trip. The boy begged him to play with me, but his father was in a hurry. That bell you found rang, the train departed, and the driver's son was left on the platform to wait.

    Collector's House

  • Forbidden Travel

    Martha

Watching the driver's son, I've come to one conclusion. This boy is crazy about trains. He is especially crazy about the Sanetti. I bet he would love to ride on a train driven by his father. Let's find out if this wish has come true.

I thought so. This is a lock with a closed clasp. Very symbolic. Of course, the driver couldn't take his son on the Sanetti's exquisite journey. Company rules forbade it.

    Station

  • Become a driver

    Isabelle

That boy definitely knows something important about the Sanetti. When I showed him a picture of his father, he smiled, pointing to his driver's hat, hands folded pleadingly. Apparently the boy wants me to find his father's hat. He won't help me. Because I'm here with him.

As soon as you brought the hat, the boy put it on. He is very happy about this discovery. But he hasn't said anything yet. He really wants to be a driver.

    Station

  • Useful Findings

    Detective

The thief dropped a bunch of other stuff as he proceeded down the hidden street. It was as if they were trying to get rid of something... evidence, perhaps? If so, that would be to our advantage. If so, it would be to our advantage, because we would know more precisely who he is. See if any of the thief's tools fell out.

What an easy-to-use tool! Here, look at this. It's got pliers and a glass cutter on it... that thief must have had professional tools at the ready! But why throw away such useful tools? Was it because it was quite heavy and got in the way of running?

    Hidden Row

  • Thrown away weapons

    Detective

The thief must have taken the gloves to throw something at me. I can't throw accurately with gloves. But I dodged it with flying colors. A projectile weapon says a lot about the character of the person throwing it. I think it was probably a dart that was thrown at me. Find it.

I'm impressed that you found such a small dart in such a short time...even though you always do! Hey, I also found a small container with some kind of liquid inside. This smells like... sleeping pills. I've used something similar when I was on the police force. You were right to avoid the darts. If I had, I would have had to sleep for a long time!

    Hidden Row

  • Light in the dark

    Detective

To catch a criminal, it is important to try to get a feel for him. The best way to know how that guy thinks would be to examine his belongings. The thief threw something shiny away on his way out... looked like a glove. Look around. It must have fallen out somewhere.

These are gloves that are useful when trying to sneak into someone else's home. They are made of sturdy fabric and have a small flashlight on the thumb and forefinger. These are obviously the work tools of a professional thief.

    Hidden Row

  • soft steps

    Detective

The thief wasn't a total novice. He knew how to throw off his pursuers. But I saw him drop a few things on his way out... let's find them. Maybe we can figure out who he is and how to catch him. Okay, let's look around the area. Come to think of it, I think I saw his shoes fall off on the way out...

These are felt slippers with laces! I've seen something like these before. I believe they are supposed to be worn over regular shoes. The thief must have worn these slippers to avoid footsteps when sneaking into the mansion. That's quite a feat! But it's hard to run with slippers on. No wonder he took them off.

    Hidden Row

  • Witness to the will

    Conductor

Usually, the hidden streets are crowded with people. It is one of the most beautiful and safe places in the city. It may no longer be safe when thieves are here... but then again, why is no one here? Okay, here we go. I want to know the whole story of the thief's escape.

Things really do happen in this town, don't they? Case investigations on hidden streets, thieves from who knows where...well, the detectives will find them sooner or later. It seems like they've already found some sort of evidence. I would love to know who this cunning thief is and how he got to the city.

    Hidden Row

  • Special Journeys

    Valerie

It's too bad the driver's son has remained silent. I bet he knows a lot about the Sanetti and the trip that train disappeared on. Maybe he'll talk about it if he has some sort of memento of his father. I saw the driver's hat on the bench with the floral cap badge with the logo on it. Bring it to me.

Thank you. This flower-shaped cap badge is never displayed on a hat unless there is something special about it. It's very shiny, isn't it? Looks like your driver has been thoroughly polishing it in preparation for his special trip. How about I give you this flower-shaped cap?

    Station

  • Machine Covers

    Inspector

I can't stop thinking about Ms. Crawley. What did the kidnappers do with her, is she still alive? I hope there are some important facts in Bolani's testimony. After all, these mafia guys like to talk about themselves all the time. We've already gathered most of the parts we need. All we need now is a full panel for the tape recorder. Finally, we can hear the testimony about the Mafia's secret hideout. The testimony that inspired the young writer to write a new novel.

You were right to help me. When we started our investigation, we had nothing. But now we have all the parts to repair the tape recorder. Now I just hope that what was recorded on the tape was not damaged in the mess!

To fix a tape recorder, you need a pinch roller. It looks like a small gear. Once we find it, we can finally load the tape and listen to Joe Volani's testimony! Soon we will know the secret hideout of the mafia!

You did it! This pinch roller is going to hold the tape up tight, huh? Now I can fix my tape recorder right away. Now we can hear what Joe Volani had to say about the Mafia's secret hideout. Cops say that a lot. No matter how tangled the threads seem, the truth will always come out in the end. Now let's find the secret lair of the Five Families!
