  • Be careful what you wish for

    Conductor

What did I get? It wasn't what I asked for... not exactly what I meant. I wanted a new wool hat because it was falling apart, but instead I got a sauna set. Here you go.

    Climate Center

  • A portable miracle

    Juliette

My gift was the Aurora Borealis itself. I've always wanted to see it. Aren't you wondering how I got that in my present box? Bring me the magic projector and I'll tell you.

My gift to you is this magical projector. It doesn't just create the illusion of the Northern Lights, it shows the real thing! Now I can see them whenever I want.

    Climate Center

  • Stuffed animal friends

    Valerie

Before I look at other people's presents, I'll show you mine. This year I asked for a North Pole reindeer that looks like Santa's reindeer, can you find it?

I'm glad we found the reindeer! Isn't he cute? They're stuffed animals, but that's okay. I can take him anywhere, and it's too hot here for real reindeer.

    Climate Center

  • glowing bag

    Juliette

It's getting dark, so let's hurry. I hooked the bag of stars with the crochet rope you made me, but I don't think I can pull it out by myself. Can you help me?

I'm amazed at how easily Krampus found the star hidden deep in the Christmas tree! Look at all this brilliance!

    Climate Center

  • makeshift device

    Juliette

I see a faint yellow light coming from that Christmas tree. Krampus must have hidden the star in there. I can't reach it with this, so I need a noose. Can you make it for me?

Well! What a genius design. The candy stick you used to attach the stars and the idea of using Christmas tree ornaments as weights to reach the bottom of the cavity is absolutely brilliant!

    Climate Center

  • anomalous weather

    Juliette

The stardust continues into the fluffy snow covered climate center area. Oh, how am I supposed to get through the body? Can you find me some wicker snowshoes?

With these snowshoes, I can easily make my way through the deep snow. Krampus must have made the snow fall to hide the stolen star. I guess we're headed in the right direction!

    Climate Center

  • bright shining path

    Juliette

If Krampus hid the stars in the climate center, there must be a trail of stardust somewhere. Find a magnifying glass made of moon quartz. Together we will look for traces of shining stars.

Thank you! Thanks to the moon quartz in this magnifying glass, I can see the faint glow of the stardust. The stolen star must be nearby.

    Climate Center

  • Detective work

    Juliette

How cunning of Krampus! The sky is pitch black, not a star in sight. Where do we start looking? If you were a detective, you'd check the crime scene first. Hey, can you find me some celestial binoculars?

Thank you! I'm so glad you found my astronomical binoculars. I couldn't find them anywhere. Hey, look! There's a star stuck on the ledge of the climate center. Let's go take a look.

    Climate Center

  • Winter Evening Hobbies

    January

Christian loves to read, but lately he hasn't had time to read. We have created a list of winter-themed books for him. Can you help me find some?

Thank you very much! Christian will be overjoyed to see this pile of books. Long winter nights are perfect for reading by the fireplace.

    Climate Center

  • The star of the party

    January

Christian wants to spend his vacation with his friends. We have prepared many tabletop games for them to enjoy. Can you guess which is my favorite?

Yes, this is the game. I don't know how many hours I have played it. I am sure Christian and his friends will enjoy it. Once he learns the rules, I plan to challenge him to a game. Who will win?

    Climate Center

  • Meditation on Ice

    January

We have planned many things to make Christian's vacation more enjoyable. For example, ice skating. Unfortunately, his skates are in terrible condition. Can you help repair them?

Thanks for your help! Thanks to you, my skates have been reborn. Christian also says that the best way to clear your mind is to skate on a wide sheet of ice, feeling the snow falling on your face.

    Climate Center

  • Ice-loving plants

    January

Christian was so involved in his work that he neglected his favorite plants. That's why his Ice Rose has yet to bloom... I have a great idea. Irrigate them with ice.

I'm not much of a gardener, but I knew that irrigating with ice would speed up the blooming of my ice roses. See, it worked! Now Christian doesn't have to worry about his favorite plants while he's resting.

    Climate Center

  • Ice Life Hacks

    January

Christian worked day and night to clean up the mess Krampus had caused. Make a cold eye mask so he can rest well.

Thank you for making the eye mask. I sewed cool air into the fabric. This will soothe Christian's tired eyes and will certainly gift him with a refreshing awakening.

    Climate Center

  • Ice Creation

    January

The detective was going to give her a pair of shoes, but all the stores are closed. Don't worry, I can make glass shoes for her. But I need an artifact for it.

Lovely. The artifact makes this glass shoe beautiful and warm. Now the detective can give a nice gift to a loved one. Do you know who the recipient is? Everyone is curious. The detective is very secretive about his private life.

    Climate Center

  • Christmas Music

    January

Christmas preparations are well underway, but still lacks a festive atmosphere. Maybe some jingle bells would help. Let's look for them.

Thanks! The sound of bells is echoing all over town. It really is a joyful melody and sounds just like Christmas.

    Climate Center

  • Ginger's Reward

    January

A starry snowy Christmas is lovely, but it wouldn't be complete without a freshly baked gingerbread cake. I ordered a gingerbread cake, but I don't have time. Can you pick it up for me?

What a beautiful gingerbread cake. You'll want to eat it now, but save it for later. After all the hard work, there's a sweet and tasty reward waiting for you.

    Climate Center

  • Creating a glamorous atmosphere

    January

Christmas is coming and the Climate Center has not yet been decorated. Let's set an example for the people of the city by decorating.

Excellent choice! The decorations brighten up the halls and create a festive atmosphere. The Climate Center now feels very cozy and I don't want to leave!

    Climate Center

  • Magic Light

    January

Snowflakes shine, but Christmas is not complete without starlight. Christmas Eve is near, but when I look up at the sky, I don't see any stars. Can you see them?

You have found some shining stars! Thank you. Now that the clouds have been removed, the stars are shining brighter than ever. It's as if heaven wants to join the festivities.

    Climate Center

  • Scent of Christmas

    January

Christians love to be warm and cozy. To feel that Christmas is approaching, you need something that warms you from the heart. Make a drink that spreads the festive spirit.

Thank you! You have lifted the spirits of the city with this fragrant and heartwarming beverage. Now I can see that they are eagerly preparing for Christmas. It's going well!

    Climate Center

  • Refreshing cool air

    January

Santa's sleigh is pulled by sturdy reindeer from the North Pole, but they slow down when the air is warm. Look for an outdoor thermometer as you check the cold.

The thermometer indicates the perfect temperature for Santa's reindeer. The reindeer will surely be in good spirits and ready to deliver presents quickly throughout the city.

    Climate Center

  • landing gear (aircraft)

    January

Oh, I did it again! I miscalculated and the frost magic caused a blizzard. Santa's reindeer have lost their way! Hurry and find a guiding stick.

Thank you for finding the guiding stick. I will welcome Santa's sleigh and I will guide you. With the guiding stick, the gifts will arrive on time. Christian would be proud of you.

    Climate Center

  • Recipe for perfect snow

    January

Oh, my God! The sudden drop in temperature has caused too much ice to form. The snow has also hardened into a solid mass. Santa's sleigh cannot land safely on the icy roof, and the presents may be delayed. Can you fetch the snow softener?

You have found a snow softener! We used cold wind to spread this out and turn the snow into a light powdery snow. Perfect conditions for Santa's sleigh to land.

    Climate Center

  • Weather Life Cycle

    January

There is snow now, but it will melt soon. We need a powerful chiller to keep the temperature low. Can you please find it?

Thanks! I see you found the chiller. I changed the temperature setting to "winter" so the snow won't melt until spring. Santa's assistants should arrive on schedule.

    Climate Center

  • Blizzard magic

    January

I was so worried about Christian that I forgot to check the weather. It hasn't snowed yet. This means Santa's sleigh can't travel around town. We need snow soon. Please start up the snow machine!

Thank you. The situation has improved! Snowfall machines have turned the city into a winter wonderland. Now Santa's sleigh can safely glide from roof to roof.

    Climate Center

  • urgent tasks

    Detective

I need more evidence to confirm my theory about Christian's disappearance. But if I'm right, there's a travel bag around here somewhere. Find it.

Well done. This travel bag helps solve the case. Christian would have taken a small bag and left the extra items in this bag. But where was he headed?

    Climate Center

  • Style Changes

    Detective

I have a theory as to where Christian went. I found a receipt for a recently purchased Hawaiian shirt. It wouldn't be something he would wear in the winter! Can you find it?

Yes, this is one of Christian's new Hawaiian shirts. According to Januarie, Christian says he doesn't usually wear this kind of thing, but he bought it nonetheless. Why is that?

    Climate Center

  • Winter Fun

    Detective

Januarie says Christian likes to be organized, but his belongings are a mess. He tripped over a Christmas wreath on the floor, but fortunately it was soft. But how could it be so soft?

This lease was a float. But why would Christians need floats in December? They are not supposed to be used in the snow.

    Climate Center

  • Impractical accessories

    Detective

I noticed that Christian had a pair of snow sunglasses. The lenses have special anti-reflective tape on them to prevent snow blindness. That's pretty elaborate. Can you help me find them?

At first I didn't particularly care for snow sunglasses, but Januarie told me that Christian always had these with him when he went out in the winter. And yet here they are now. Pretty strange.

    Climate Center

  • Warmth and cold

    Detective

I need to find out where the December officer disappeared to. I just found a strange drink near Christian's chair. Can you find out what that is?

Cocktail...? Hmmm, it smells refreshing. But who drinks in the middle of winter? I confirmed with Januarie that Christian does not like cold drinks. If so, why did he decide to make this at this time of year?

    Climate Center

  • Secrets of the Officer in Charge

    January

I stopped by the Climate Center because I wanted to talk to you about the puppet theater that Christian recently built. In case you missed it, have you seen the theater?

Isn't this puppet theater fabulous? The set and weather effects are Christian's pride and joy. If you look closely, you will see his initials hidden at the edge of the stage. I am the only one he showed it to.

    Climate Center

  • Everything is where it should be.

    January

Christian and I were a great team. He created the winter weather and I stabilized it. I don't know why he left in such a hurry. His timing was always perfect. Have you seen his timer?

Yes, that is Christian's spring-loaded timer. He swore by it and said that time management was a kind of magic and the only way to get everything done before Christmas.

    Climate Center

  • The warmth of friendship

    January

I always appreciate Christian's kindness. I also made him a gift. I knitted him a warm vest because even winter wizards can get cold. It is on a hanger. Can you take it off?

I added some sunshine to this vest to make it extra warm. I saved it for Christmas, but then Christian went missing.

    Climate Center

  • Gift from a friend

    January

How was your relationship with the December officer? It was great. Christian is a close friend. We talked a lot and he gave me a cardboard nutcracker. I have it somewhere.

This cardboard nutcracker is actually an advent calendar. Christian made it for me and filled the drawers with my favorite treats. He was very thoughtful.

    Climate Center

  • female office worker

    January

I'll answer your questions, of course, because I'm trying to find the December Officer in Charge. Without him, it will be very difficult to prepare for Christmas. Before we begin, let's light the first Advent candle.

Thank you! The first Advent candle has been lit and it feels like Christmas is a little closer. There is still much to do. Creating a festive atmosphere, calling for winter snow...oh my gosh, how did Christians do this all by themselves?

    Climate Center

  • Secret Messages

    Detective

I found it, an airmail capsule. Christian must have written a message, but for some reason he didn't send it. That's a lock stuck in there. Can you open it?

Thank God. You opened it so fast. All that was inside was a report. Christian had filled everything out in advance. Januarie also confirmed that it was in his handwriting.

    Climate Center

  • Year-end upheaval

    Detective

It's a terrible situation here. It looks as if someone has turned the room upside down. Boxes have been rifled through and decorations are scattered everywhere. Let's check the boxes of decorations.

There is nothing unusual about it. Just some decorations that were supposed to be on the Christmas tree. But, according to Januarie, Christian always put the decorations up early. He is not the kind of person who would leave such an important job unfinished.

    Climate Center

  • box full of surprises

    January

I was looking for a weather report for December when I noticed a strange box in the cupboard that I had never seen before. It might be a clue to Christian's fate. Could you please take it?

Inside the box were many signed Christmas cards. It is a very Christian preparation. But why didn't he send them? I hope he is safe.

    Climate Center

  • second home

    Detective

We went through Christian's personal belongings. According to Januarie, he lived at work most of this holiday season. Look, the slippers are still here too...anything odd about that?

The slippers are a little worn, but that's normal. However, there is a recent scratch on one side. It could be evidence of a struggle. Did someone drag Christian away?

    Climate Center

  • cold tea

    Detective

Where is the December Officer in Charge? Was he really kidnapped? A closer look at the crime scene might reveal his whereabouts. Buddy, what do you think about that tea set?

This Christmas tea set is for a small tea party, but one of the cups has fallen over and the papers on the desk are almost wet. It seems as if someone left here in a hurry.

    Climate Center

  • Impressive location

    Detective

This climate center is an unremarkable public facility from the outside, but what about the inside? Lumika enclosed an entry pass in her letter. Let's use it.

The climate center is bigger than it looks, and while the magic is obvious, it also houses many machines. Look, there's even an artificial snowfall machine.

    Climate Center

  • Faithful friends

    Valerie

I heard a blue dog was spotted near the table where the kids are sitting at the picnic. This could be the next clue to this mysterious color thing. Anyway, I guess I better take a look.

What a cute little dog! He's just a normal dog, except his fur is the color of the sky. What's strange is that Mr. Lane is here looking for something too. Is there any chance he might be involved in this case?

    Barbecue Area

  • wandering bird

    Valerie

Unnatural colors abound here. Look, there's a bright yellow goose roaming around, bright as a lemon! This must be magic. We've got to catch it. You go right, I'll go left.

I did it! But this is just a normal goose. It's a little yellowish, but... maybe it's from something they ate? I'll check the food.

    Barbecue Area

  • bright fire

    Valerie

There's obviously magic involved in this picnic. You see, the bonfire is a bright green color! The wood doesn't look any different, but the flames are a glowing emerald. You see it too, don't you?

I knew I wasn't mistaken. This flame is clearly green. This is definitely magical. We need to find out what caused the unusual color. The city could be in danger.

    Barbecue Area

  • Purple Harvest

    Valerie

Listen. A guest at the picnic was eating purple corn. It was so purple, it looked like it was glowing. I wonder what it tastes like? Maybe there's another one around here somewhere...

I see you found purple corn! Looks delicious. Maybe it's the soil that gave it this color, but the following evidence suggests otherwise.

    Barbecue Area

  • Red Harvest

    Valerie

I wonder if there's some sort of contemporary art exhibit at the picnic site? One of the straw bales is glowing red. Can you find it?

That's it. That's not normal straw, is it? It's the color of blood. Something's wrong. Is it just a prop or is something bad happening?

    Barbecue Area

  • Poem carved on wood

    Mr. Rain

I came up with a beautiful idea and wrote it down on a wonderfully decorated signpost. But there are so many signposts in this city that I can't remember which one it was. Can you help me find them together?

Yes, this is it. Excellent! Without your help, I might not have found the metaphors I have written down. This will make my poetry collection even more beautiful.

    Barbecue Area

  • Blowin' in the wind

    Mr. Rain

I was thinking about the poetry book and forgot where I put my silk hat. I wrote down some of the long and short case rhymes, have you seen them?

Thank you very much! I have written down my own thoughts on peace of mind in this hat. It is something that is hard to come by and can only be found after we have weathered the storms of life.

    Barbecue Area

  • Tears of Ink

    Mr. Rain

I wrote a lovely sonnet on a napkin, dreaming of making a book of poems. However, my tears fell on it and the words smudged. Could you help me dry it before the poem is ruined?

Thank you very much. Thanks to you, the sonnet I wrote on the napkin is safe! I wrote about a chance encounter that will last a lifetime, will it reach my readers one day? What do you think?

    Barbecue Area

  • Rhyming scrolls

    Mr. Rain

When it comes to putting together a poetry collection, I have to find my favorite scarf. It's the one with the quiet philosophical poems woven into it. But...unfortunately, I seem to have lost it. Did I leave it somewhere?

You found it. That's wonderful! This scarf is woven with kindness and warmth and will protect you from the cold November rain.

    Barbecue Area

  • Poem of Fallen Leaves

    Mr. Rain

I wanted to one day create a collection of poems about rain. And I wrote my first poem on a fallen leaf, but the wind blew it away. Could you please help me find it?

Thank you for finding it. I thought the maple leaf was perfect because this is a poem about the fleeting beauty of life. I have written other poems on various other things. Keep looking around.

    Barbecue Area

  • Laughter and Tears

    Martha

I finally made the tacos of my dreams! But somehow, all this joy seems to have seeped into the dish. The tacos are laughing so hard that the contents are spilling out. Can you calm me down?

Phew! The tacos have finally settled in, but I'm almost out of the contents. I'll save this dish for a winter afternoon when I'm craving a dusty dish.

    Barbecue Area

  • Rhythm of Dance

    Martha

Sounds like you can't take your eyes off the dancing pumpkin noodles. But you're right, this dish wouldn't be appropriate for today's picnic. I'll ask the genie what else I should bring.

    Barbecue Area

  • drama of depravity

    Martha

I'm sure everyone in town would be impressed with my culinary skills if they ate my delicious berry muffins at the picnic. But the muffins that were cooling there earlier have suddenly disappeared. Can you help me find them?

This muffin is alive! It's a wonder I didn't cast a spell on them. I just thought it might make an interesting errand...but cooking is much harder than magic, isn't it?

    Barbecue Area

  • Phantom Snacks

    Martha

What better way to delight your picnic guests than with a sandwich? Freshly baked bread, gourmet ingredients and crunchy veggies. But...what's going on? The sandwich has turned into a shoe and it's bouncing around! Catch it quick!

Thanks! After a heart-to-heart examination of the bouncing sandwich, I think I know who the culprit is. I had stored the sandwich veggies next to the magic mushrooms and they transferred the bouncing nature of the mushrooms.

    Barbecue Area

  • Predator Feast

    Martha

I'm making a mushroom pie for our fall picnic. The dough and filling are perfect, but when I sprinkle on the spices... lo and behold, the pie bites me and runs away! Can you help me catch it?

Thanks for catching Kamikami Pie before the others were attacked. I must have put the transformation potion in the wrong place. I'll have to make sure I don't put the spice and the potion in the same place from now on.

    Barbecue Area

  • fresh color

    Autumn's Herald

To brighten up this rainy Thanksgiving, we've painted raincoats in fall colors for those in town. You can have one too. Enjoy the festive spirit as much as possible today.

Your raincoat looks great on you. All the visitors have them, too, so no one around Mr. Rain is wet. Oh, look at that! The clouds are clearing. Can you see the blue sky peeking through?

    Barbecue Area

  • Hit!

    Peter

Every year I like to sit in the pavilion on the first fall rain and drop chestnuts in the paddock. But I can't seem to find a good pachinko. Have you seen one anywhere?

Oh, it's the pachinko I made once upon a time! Thank you. I told Valerie about the game. We're going to have a chestnut-dropping contest. How many chestnuts can you drop?

    Barbecue Area

  • Up to half of the umbrella

    Valerie

Here's a game perfect for a rainy day. Collect raindrops with your umbrella. Whoever collects the most raindrops wins! I only have one umbrella, but if I can find yours, we can play together!

You win! Good game. By the way, did you notice that it was Mr. Lane himself who was moving the clouds? He was playing with them. I saw him laughing.

    Barbecue Area

  • Autumn DIY

    Dorothy

When we have to play quietly, we sit by the fire in the pavilion and make things with fallen leaves. There are lots of fallen leaves over there. We can weave them into garlands.

Nice garland! See, the pavilion looks so festive now. I'm sure you'll love it too, Rain... if you can get out from under the cloud of sadness.

    Barbecue Area

  • Ready, go!

    Peter

Here's a good game. Puddle tag! Me and Dorothy are good at it. We need waterproof shoes, like boots. You'll have to find some!

Those are cool boots. They keep your feet dry and are perfect for puddle tag. It's a game of running fast and making big splashes, but don't forget to have fun. Ready X100X ready, one, two, three...start!

    Barbecue Area

  • Broken Memory

    Dorothy

I was trying to help Cliff when all of a sudden his wallet opened and the amulet from the City of Shadows fell out. So Cliff got curious and started poking around in the amulet. But...what? The wallet is gone. It's not here. Help me find it.

Thanks for finding my wallet. Half of the amulet was still inside. It broke when Cliff poked it and opened a portal. Cliff jumped into it and we followed him here.

    Barbecue Area

  • memorabilia

    Dorothy

I hope Cliff is ok, so I made him a beaded pet tag with Cliff's name on it. Just in case we get separated. Here, look at this.

I carved the beads myself. In the end, I had to let Cliff go. He didn't do anything wrong. I'm sure he'll come when I call his name. Like I said before, Cliff is a smart boy.

    Barbecue Area

  • Obligations of friends

    Peter

I was trying to get Cliff out of the shed and the latch broke. I put it in my pocket to fix it later, but I think I lost that too while I was running away. Can you help me find it?

Yeah, that's the latch on the cliff enclosure! Thanks, I'll fix the enclosure later. I'll fix the enclosure later. I told Cliff to get out of the enclosure and run away, but he wouldn't move and Dorothy said she didn't want to leave him there.

    Barbecue Area

  • Delicious escape

    Peter

I had to help Cliff avoid becoming dinner. I took the menu and my grandma's cookbook and set out, but I lost the book on the way. Could you help me find it?

Yes, that's Grandma's cookbook. When I saw Grandma circling all the turkey dishes, I knew I had to help Cliff. But things didn't go as planned.

    Barbecue Area

  • Memorable scenery

    Dorothy

I've never wanted to eat Cliff. Because he's my friend. Cliff lived on my grandma and grandpa's farm. I drew a picture of it, but the wind blew it away. Can you help me find it?

Thanks for finding it! It got wet from the rain, but you can still see the farmhouse and the nice colors. This is Cliff's house. See, I told you.

    Barbecue Area

  • unusual stopper

    Mr. Rain

Yage draws thunder energy from the turkey's cry. But you need a vessel to receive it and a plug to stop it. I will provide the vessel and you will find the stopper.

Ah, that's it. This plug will silence the turkey's cry, but I don't know yet if it will make a new friend. If I don't have any friends, how can this turkey have any friends...

    Barbecue Area

  • The Power of Sound

    Mr. Rain

We hope that by breaking the magic of the turkey, you will find your way to making new friends. First, the volume of the yage needs to be adjusted to the turkey's call. Find an amplifier.

Thanks for finding the amplifier. Let's hook it up to the yage. Now the volume of the instrument is as loud as that of the turkey's cry. But we are not done yet. We need to take a few more steps.

    Barbecue Area

  • Accompaniment of Thunderbolt

    Mr. Rain

The yaje, an ancient Tamil zither, is a magical instrument that transforms lightning into the energy of friendship. However, when the turkey was enchanted, it caused chaos throughout the festival and the yaju was lost in the commotion. Will you help me find it?

With yage, I might have a new friend...oops, to break the magic of the turkey, the bird and the harp need to sing in harmony. But the yage is too quiet and the turkey's cry is too loud. More power is needed.

    Barbecue Area

  • long silence

    Mr. Rain

The turkey's cry is as loud as a thunderclap. It is not my fault. If you are going to help me break the spell, you need to protect your ears. Find something to protect your ears.

Excellent. These headphones seem to have adequate hearing protection. The moment you arrive at the party, it will sound as if everyone has gone silent. That is why I created an instrument that turns lightning into friendship energy.

    Barbecue Area

  • sound familiar

    Mr. Rain

I didn't intend to put a spell on the turkey. I just didn't want to wait to be invited to the festival. But now it's about the birds. I need a turkey whistle to calm them down. Can you help me find one?

Thanks. This whistle seems to work. The turkeys have stopped flapping their wings, but I can still hear them chirping. It sounds as if they are as fierce as the people at this Thanksgiving feast. They all ran away as soon as I showed up.

    Barbecue Area

  • A welcome guest

    Valerie

It wouldn't hurt to send an invitation directly to Mr. Lane to let him know that the art exhibit is open. I prepared a golden invitation, but I forgot which folder I put it in. Can you help me find it?

    Barbecue Area

  • When violins weep silently

    Autumn's Herald

Add background music to draw Mr. Lane in. He said he could listen to maple violins for hours. Just as well, there is a maple violin. Can you find it for us?

You have found a maple violin! Its tone is as clear as an autumn morning. Play a sad tune and let Mr. Lane hear it. Maybe he will tell you why he ruined the festivities by casting a spell on the Thanksgiving turkey.

    Barbecue Area

  • verbal prodigy

    Valerie

We need a few more pieces to make the exhibit more appealing. Mr. Lane must be a fan of sculpture. I once found a bust of the playwright in the fog, but I don't know where it's being kept now. Can you help me find it?

Yay! You found the bust of the playwright. It fits the mood of the exhibit perfectly, don't you think? I put it next to the straw turkey. Now we have a sculpture corner.

    Barbecue Area

  • Autumn Sunshine

    Autumn's Herald

Better lighting is needed to enhance the fall ambiance and beautify the exhibit. Mr. Lane is impressed by the sunlight shining through the autumn leaves. The same effect can be recreated with stage lighting and leaf stencils. Can you help us find the right lighting?

Perfect! This stage light gives off just the right amount of warm light. Position it to illuminate the entire impromptu gallery. Mr. Lane is old-fashioned, so you won't miss this. I promise.

Why not open an art exhibition? Lane loves art. I am sure he would participate in human form. That way we can talk to him in person. Fall watercolors would be a wonderful highlight. Could you please look for them?

It's a beautiful fall picture! Thanks for finding it. Watercolor is Mr. Lane's favorite technique. He tried it for a while, but always stopped at the color mixing stage because he added too much water. But he will love this work.

    Autumn's Herald

I saw a lightning bolt. Thunderbird is nearby. Let's hide a trap so they can't find us. Lure them in by imitating the bird's call with that hand-cranked organ. Hurry up and wind the spring!

This organ sounds just like the real thing. Thunderbird would not doubt it. The moment they enter the cage for food, close and lock it. Remember to cover your ears.

    Autumn's Herald

According to legend, Thunderbirds prefer ripe grain that has the power of the earth and the sun in it. They are probably hungry by now. Try feeding on their favorite food. Please look for them.

That grain has expired and that is exactly what the Thunderbirds want. Put this in the magic cage. It should withstand the storm. Now all we have to do is put it in a place where the Thunderbirds won't miss it.

It's beautiful. These feathers must have fallen off while the thief was eating the grain. I know you're thinking that the Goddess of the Fall doesn't belong to the Thunderbirds, but it sure looks that way, doesn't it?

If the Thunderbirds escaped from the nature spirits, they might be hiding among the laying hens on the poultry farm. It should be easy enough to find them by counting how many there are. Can you get the bird-counting abacus?

It's a handy tool. I counted the chickens with a bird-counting abacus, and there's nothing wrong. The count is correct. But the chicken feed is gone. So it looks like Thunderbird didn't hide here, but he did stop by for a meal.

Catching the Thunderbirds will not be easy, but the future of the city is at stake. I asked Valerie to draw a map of where the Thunderbirds were last seen. Could you please bring the map so we can check it?

It's wonderful. This map will show you the way. The Thunderbirds were first spotted on a farm near a poultry farm, during an egg-laying competition. Let's start there.

    Autumn's Herald

What was supposed to be a festival was instead a puddle and a mess, a far cry from the festive atmosphere. This is not surprising considering the power of the Thunderbirds. Even wizards are afraid of them. The entire city is in danger. Put on your boots and let's get started.

The wood is completely wet. This makes it impossible to start a fire. People in the picnic area seemed to have evacuated in a hurry. Look at what is left behind. But still, where are the Thunderbirds? He must be hiding nearby. Let's look for them.

Burnout has Salem taking a break from her job as queen of the night. Her latest hobby is making soap, but the people who use it seem a little unhappy. I want to find out what the problem is, so can you go find me some soap?

No wonder Salem's customers are so angry. This soap has spiders in it, not lavender. I guess I forgot I was making soap and accidentally added an ingredient from an old ritual. It seems the title of "Queen of the Night" is not so easily dropped.

Salem is on indefinite leave. He's now focusing on studying tea ceremonies to improve his mental health. The problem is that every time he tries to make tea, he ends up making a magic potion. See what you can come up with.

That's right. I have a habit of making not just tea, but something with a magic potion in it. But when I had to stay up late at night to fulfill my duties as queen, this tea came in handy.

Tired of being the queen of the night, I decided to become the librarian in the hotel's reading room, and already I'm seeing strange activity on the bookshelves. Something just jumped out from the shelf and startled me. Can you go check it out?

So it was a bookworm that startled me in the reading room! According to Martha, my aura brought the worm to life. No matter how I try, I can't seem to escape my power. No matter where I go, I'm still me.

While she's taking a break from her job as queen of the night, Salem is taking baking lessons in the hotel kitchen. But it doesn't seem to be going well. One of the cookies she baked has flown away. Can you help me catch it?

Thanks for catching those flying cookies! I was strictly told to take the day off from work, but Salem seems to have magically brought the cookies to life.

I took Martha's advice and started a new hobby. Magic gardening. Maybe, just maybe, this will lead me to a new career. You'll know it when you see my pumpkins.

I grew this pumpkin in the hotel garden. Not bad, right? We still have a lot of work to do. It kind of reminds me of Halloween...oh, sorry. I'm sorry, I'm talking about work again.

Most hotel guests have complained of sleep deprivation. But luckily, I think I'm close to identifying a suspect. I found what looked like a sparkly medal on the floor, but I was in a hurry and couldn't pick it up. Where was it? Can you help me find it?

This is the tag on your pet's collar. "Contact: Somnia of the Land of Sleep in the Land of Dreams"... this is Somnia, the Queen of Dreams? This means that this tag belongs to her pet. This is definitely the cause of this issue.

Something about these shells seems out of place. Maybe it has something to do with the thieves who are stealing the sleep of the guests. What do you think?

I've never seen shells like this before. It's like something out of a dream. Can you hear me? "Morpheus, where are you?" I hear a voice whispering, "Morpheus, where are you? It's some sort of communicator... a shell phone! This Morpheus guy must be the suspect.

An employee reported that a strange object appeared near the elevator. It may have something to do with the cause of the guests' inability to sleep. Let's find out.

Hey, look at these shards. It seems that this piece was stolen from one of the guests' favorite nightmares. He couldn't sleep because someone stole this from him. I don't know who the thief was, but they left an easy clue for us to follow.

What is it that is disturbing the sleep of our guests? The monster I talked to was still shaking from the nightmare he had last night. He kept mentioning a pillow, so let's find that pillow. Maybe it's possessed by a demon.

Yes, this pillow. Isn't it strange? A hand comes out and wakes up a sleeping person. But that's just a hallucination. It's not the work of the devil.

It would be very interesting if someone is pretending to be a vampire hunter. Who the hell is that man? He reappeared, but ran away before I could get a word out. A small box fell out of his pocket. Would you pick that up for me?

That is definitely the box that fell out of the attacker's pocket. It is full of chocolates inside. What's going on? Take a look. The lid is inscribed "To Ludwig". This is a pleasant surprise! I hope it's not poisoned...

Ludwig thinks that the man who attacked me may be a writer investigating vampires, but I disagree. He threw an amulet at my face as he fled, but his aim was off and it fell into the shadows. Could you please fetch it for me? It might be an important clue to something.

You have found an amulet. The color of this ruby is dark and unique, like blood. Vampires love rubies. Ask Ludwig! Trying to scare me with this amulet is not an effective strategy. Was it some kind of trap?

If that guy is not a real vampire hunter, then who the hell is he? He dropped his hat when he tried to grab me, but if I examined it, I might be able to identify him. But where did he put it?

Oh, definitely. It's a hunter's hat. Nothing unusual about it, but if you look closely, the quill has been replaced by a quill. Perhaps he is a writer trying to write a vampire story?

I have never seen vampire hunters come this close before. Are they not afraid of us? I knocked the flail out of his hand as he attacked, but something doesn't feel right. Would you please take a look?

This flail appears to be handmade. It was probably made by the vampire hunter himself. You see, the blow part has been changed to garlic. But I don't smell it. This does not seem to be garlic, which is dangerous to vampires. Everything is fake. Could it be that the hunter himself is a fake?

That's my old horn! Thank you. This horn and I have been together since the days of the Wild Hunt. It is not used in Salem's court today, but Max could use it to call his horse or to communicate with us from the other side of the world.

By the way, I saw a beautiful and fantastic whip here earlier, but I've lost track of where it went. Would you look for it with me?

Ah, this is the whip we were looking for. The shady character who dropped this off ran off the moment we walked into the hotel. He's obviously hiding something. Oh well, whoever picks it up wins. I'm sure Max will be able to use it.

This is an old saddle from the Ludwig's Wild Hunt. Isn't it nice? It's designed to keep the rider from falling off, and it used to be on display in the hotel lobby. Ludwig's allowed Max to use it.

I thank you! I put some good luck magic on this horseshoe and put it in this hotel a long time ago. I'm going to make four more, using this one as a model. Max is a knight, so he will need a trusty horse.
