Hidden City Walkthrough

Quest

These are the story/quests featured in Hidden City. There is a vast number of stories, and please note that the order and categories are unorganized, so it might be a bit difficult to navigate. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Essential tools

    Detective

Once Max is out of his supernatural prison, his role will be to protect the boundary between the world of the living and the dead. Pretty impressive for a public service, isn't it? By the way, I saw a beautiful and fantastic whip here earlier, but I've lost track of where it went. Would you look for it with me?

    Monster Hotel

  • Mystical Care

    Valerie

I'm glad Max will be living in this city after he gets out of the maze. He may be a monster, but his intentions are good. Salem plans to improve his riding skills once he's free so he can make the most of his supernatural abilities. The next thing he needs is a saddle.

This is an old saddle from the Ludwig's Wild Hunt. Isn't it nice? It's designed to keep the rider from falling off, and it used to be on display in the hotel lobby. Ludwig's allowed Max to use it.

    Monster Hotel

  • Supernatural Protection

    Jack

Salem has offered to take him in once Max completes his sentence in the maze. He will spend the rest of his life serving the residents of this city and will be properly taken care of. I'd like to give him a gift of some kind, a twilight horseshoe, if you will.

I thank you! I put some good luck magic on this horseshoe and put it in this hotel a long time ago. I'm going to make four more, using this one as a model. Max is a knight, so he will need a trusty horse.

    Monster Hotel

  • Curse broken

    Salem

Max will have to pay for his deeds. He has already taken the first step. His determination has weakened the brooch, but its power still needs to be sealed. Can you find the urn and bring it here?

    Monster Hotel

  • It all depends on Max.

    Detective

To destroy the brooch, Max would have to give up his voice, his greatest natural gift. Salem sealed that voice in a vial, but apparently Max got scared and ran off with it. Can you get it back?

I got the vials back, but I don't see Max. Did he run away? Oh well, if you want to keep acting, become a mime actor or something. I don't feel too sorry for him. He was trying to transfer the curse to one of us!

    Monster Hotel

  • The Sweetness of Death

    Valerie

I read Jack's notes. Each step of the ritual is listed here, including the use of poison apples. It looks like they make fruit punch with it at the hotel. I'm a little uncomfortable with the dirty fruit, can you go get it for me?

    Monster Hotel

  • Flames in the Mist

    Salem

I'm almost ready to destroy the brooch. One more thing I need is a lantern for the lost man. It should be somewhere in the hotel. I hear some devil can't sleep without it. Can you help me find it?

You found it! Yes, that's the Lost Man's Lantern. Its pale light reveals the true nature of the brooch, its history, and the original ritual that created it. With that knowledge, we can finally destroy that evil brooch.

    Monster Hotel

  • Threads from the Past

    Shaad

According to Jack, the ritual of destroying the brooch also requires a blood-dyed thread. There is a guest at the party who might have it, but we are not on very good terms. Would you please charm the succubus over there and get the blood-dyed thread?

Excellent! This bloodstained thread symbolizes the bond between the cursed object and the one who controls it. Memories, pain, and vengeance are tied into one thread over the centuries, all encapsulated within the brooch.

    Monster Hotel

  • The First Ghost

    Jack

Before we can perform the ritual of destroying the brooch, we need a funeral bell. Fortunately, the hotel is full of guests with all kinds of occult goods. Go find the funeral bells.

Perfect. This funeral bell will bring forth the spirit of the first knight. It is his malice that has kept the brooch empowered in the first place. Only when he lets go of his anger will the brooch be destroyed.

    Monster Hotel

  • memento mori

    Salem

Jack and I worked out a plan to buy time to lift the curse. We enchanted the chronometer to count down to the precise moment when the person under the curse would fall into the demon realm. Can you get that for me?

Thanks. According to the chronometer, there isn't much time left before Max is back in the devil's domain. But this is no ordinary watch. It can slow down the passage of time a bit. Because tonight, every second counts.

    Monster Hotel

  • Door of longing

    Jack

I found another piece of information that might help break the curse. The knight has a talisman that can open a door between worlds. It looks something like this.

This is my key to the world of the living. The knight uses another. His amulet is delivered by a witch's raven once every hundred years. Without it, he cannot return to the world of the living and pass the curse to someone else. But the amulet's magical power is not enough to contain the curse.

    Monster Hotel

  • guiding light

    Salem

Understanding how the curse is contagious is the key to unlocking it. Once every hundred years, a knight travels to the world of the living to find his successor. He is guided by a strange artifact called the candle compass. Have you seen it anywhere?

Good. Because I found the candle compass that the knight used. After a hundred years, any soul forgets how to return to the world of the living, but this light will always guide the knight. But the magic of this candle is not enough to contain the curse.

    Monster Hotel

  • Curse progression

    Jack

There was a gap of several centuries in the records, and then a play written for shadow puppet theater brought the knight's story back into the public eye. Find out more.

Shadows danced and the next chapter of the knight's story was revealed. Exiled from the land of men, the knight sought the witch's help. The witch's spell freed the knight, but as a condition of the release, the knight had to transfer the curse to others.

    Monster Hotel

  • Knightly Origins

    Salem

To break the curse, we need to understand its origins. Jack and I found a copy of an ancient record. It's from the first knight's trial, held at the Halloween courthouse. And of course... we misplaced it somewhere. Help me find it.

Thanks for finding it. According to a copy of the court transcript, the first knight was accused of so much cruelty that even a jury composed entirely of monsters was shocked. The court sentenced the knight to eternal damnation for his crimes.

    Monster Hotel

  • A contemplative journey

    Max O'Phobia

Why did I come to this city, you ask? I tried to break the curse. I met a doctor, a fortune teller, and finally a shaman. He gave me this amulet. What? I must have dropped it in my pocket. Can you help me find it?

According to the shaman, the amulet was carved from a special piece of stone found only in the city where "the wise know all." It led me here.

    Monster Hotel

  • last hope

    Max O'Phobia

We have nothing to hide. I need your help. When the knight's hand touched me, a strange mark appeared. I'll draw it. Do you recognize this symbol?

Mm, indeed. This mark looks like a moth with a venom on its back. I thought it had something to do with the curse, but if you guys haven't seen it, maybe not. I don't know if it matters, but it hasn't shown up on my body yet.

    Monster Hotel

  • Souvenirs of the Cursed Man

    Max O'Phobia

I'll tell you all about it so you can help me. When I returned to my dressing room after my performance as the Headless Knight, I saw my head in the mirror and it was gone. And then... he showed up. I grabbed his scarf. That's the one right there. I'm still not sure I can look at it.

Yeah, this is the real headless knight's scarf. I took it from him while I was trying to defend myself. The demon was growling something about a curse while it attacked me. And then he was gone. As soon as he was gone, I felt something heavy weighing on me.

    Monster Hotel

  • Lifelong Work

    Max O'Phobia

I'm cursed now, but I used to do well. I had friends and a job I loved. I was an entertainer and did holiday party entertainment. My stage name was Max Ofobia. I made my own props. Look at this pumpkin.

I made this papier-mâché pumpkin myself. The details were so amazing that even the hotel doorman...or was it the door monster? ...even fooled the hotel doorman...or was it the door monster? All that changed while playing the headless knight at a Halloween festival in my hometown.

    Monster Hotel

  • Guests from the future

    Max O'Phobia

I came here looking for a cure. I didn't mean to ruin the party... please forget it. My name is Max. I can prove it. I'm sure I have some identification somewhere, but damn it, where is it?

Thanks for finding my Entertainer ID. I must have dropped it in the confusion earlier. I'm still trying to figure out what era you guys are from, but I'm from the second half of the 20th century.

    Monster Hotel

  • Rational Approach

    Detective

It's just one person and it's such a big deal! Nevertheless, the guy is an intruder, infected with a curse, and we have to find him. Oh, something is about to roll into the fireplace. What is that? Is it a recording device? Did someone drop it? Let's check it out.

Hmmm, strange. This is a bone-chilling recording of a scream. Maybe it's part of someone's disguise, I don't know. As soon as I picked it up, Banshee snatched it out of my hand, saying, "This is mine. He said he brought it because he had a cold and a sore throat.

    Monster Hotel

  • Fickle assistant

    Valerie

It's impossible for a human to hide her true identity here. It was easy for them to see that I wasn't a real witch. And I was in full costume, too. By the way, one of the "witches" who spotted me brought along a very naughty messenger. He has absolutely no discipline. Would you like to see it?

That witch's messenger stole the ghoul's earrings! If she was a real witch, the messenger would listen to her, right? I doubt it. She says she was recently summoned and hasn't had time to train yet. The detective confirmed it.

    Monster Hotel

  • Ghosts of Science

    Shaad

The presence of a cursed person at a monsters-only party can wreak havoc. Because if a guest comes in contact with him, the curse may fall on him! We saw a not-so-ghostly ghost here earlier. Let's look for him.

This ghost is a fake. It is a projection of a hologram. But the hologram was generated by a real ghost. It seems that this ghost likes to attract attention and wanted to appear in several places at the same time to increase its popularity among other partygoers.

    Monster Hotel

  • every preparation (arrangement)

    Detective

The intruder must be disguised as a party guest. When I first got here, the werewolf collar was the only thing that stood out from the rest. To be honest, it looked terribly out of place. Would you be willing to search with me?

Thank you. That collar. But would a real werewolf wear something so flashy? Oops, looks like he's offended that someone is criticizing his fashion sense. The fur is real. I pulled it to make sure. He's growling at us. I'm sorry. Let's back away slowly...

    Monster Hotel

  • Delicate Monster

    Valerie

Whoever could sneak into a monsters-only party must be quite the doer. They must have tried to blend in by pretending to be monsters. But there's always something that can be detected, like poker. For example, doesn't that diary look out of place?

The diary entry reads, "A scorpion took up residence among the bandages. I named him Amun." "I named him Amun. What does it mean? Oh! The mummy has come to retrieve the diary. The real mummy! We'll need an Egyptologist to decipher it.

    Monster Hotel

  • uninvited guest

    Detective

Hm? What are you doing here? You're gonna piss off the monsters. But I don't want them to leave. This place is really creepy. I wouldn't even set foot in this place if it wasn't for the 911 call. All right, you ready? You're behind me.

Hmmm, surprisingly cozy. The monsters seem to know how to throw a party. There must be someone who can give us some information, but for now, don't touch anything. Especially stay away from that weird liquid.

    Monster Hotel

  • overload

    Rayden Storke

The mechanical doll stole parts of the airship to fix the broken ride, but apparently they didn't fit. I looked at the ride and it looks like it just has a stuck motor. A reverse commutator would fix it. Can you find it for me?

Thanks! With this reverse commutator, I should be able to restart the motor. But it's not working. Let's get all the passengers off. Oh, I see! The machine was overloaded.

    Amusement Park

  • The thief's excuse

    Rayden Storke

Thanks! The airship can't take off without a gyroscope. The mechanical doll admitted his guilt and apologized. He said he stole parts to fix the broken vehicle.

The mechanical doll stole parts of the airship to fix the broken ride, but apparently they didn't fit. I looked at the ride and it looks like it just has a stuck motor. A reverse commutator would fix it. Can you find it for me?

    Amusement Park

  • Internal temperature

    Rayden Storke

Thank God you found the copper cooler. That was to be expected. The killer must have given it away because of its weight. But why steal something and then throw it away? Oh, there it is! Hey! Don't run away!

It seems it was a mechanical dummy that stole the airship parts. I'll look into his motives, but in the meantime, can you help me find the gyroscope's operating platform? It's an important part. The rusty doll must have dumped it somewhere around here.

    Amusement Park

  • More about freight forwarding

    Rayden Storke

Whoever stole the airship parts left some strange footprints. Hey, look at this. There's a two-stage joint near the curb. It's the same type used on the pressure levers in the airship's cargo hold. Let's check it out.

Oh, this was definitely stolen from an airship. Why would a thief steal something like this? But the culprit doesn't seem to know much about machines. Because these parts are completely useless outside of the airship.

    Amusement Park

  • Infinite movement

    Rayden Storke

Where do I start looking? This amusement park is like a giant maze full of rides and machines, but... hey, there's something on the ground. Maybe it's a piece of Mobius gear. The rest of the parts could be nearby. Let's check it out.

Well done! That Mobius gear was stolen from the airship's deckhouse. Be very careful, the culprit may still be around. You can never predict the actions of a cornered criminal.

    Amusement Park

  • Special Weapons

    Carlos Light

That cocky attendant doesn't seem to realize how formidable I am. That's because he hasn't yet seen my pneumatic slingshot, which is specially designed to reduce vibration. But where did I put it? Will you look for it with me?

You found it! Thanks for the help. This slingshot has a hollow handle and an adjustable elastic stretch. It's one of my masterpieces! It served me well as a child.

    Amusement Park

  • incisive evidence

    Carlos Light

If the target is truly invisible, we need a special tracking bullet. How about making bullets enhanced with berserker spikes? They might have some with them, so why don't you find them?

Ah, these are berserker spikes. They're made of a special alloy that doesn't penetrate the target, but sticks to the outside. If there was any fraud at the shooting range, we should be able to catch the culprit in the act. And while we're at it, we'll take the prize too.

    Amusement Park

  • evenness of mind

    Carlos Light

The trick to winning prizes at the shooting range is to keep your cool, but with so many people around, it's distracting. The bracelet of tranquility that Lucia gave me is in my tool bag. Can you go get it for me?

OK. This tranquility bracelet lowers the shooter's heart rate and makes it easier to take slow, deep breaths. It's going to improve accuracy. Let's do this.

    Amusement Park

  • eyes of a hawk

    Carlos Light

If you can't see the target, you can't hit it. In fact, my eyesight is not as good as it used to be. That's why I have an automatic sighting scope. Now I have it disassembled for transport. Can you help me assemble it?

You've assembled it well! This automatic sighting scope can even catch mosquitoes flying through thick fog. It is the result of modern technology.

    Amusement Park

  • horizon (related to land)

    Carlos Light

All factors need to be considered to see if this shooting range is structured to be unwinnable. Can you help me find the precision level with me? I can't remember where I put it.

Thanks for the help! With this, I can check to see if the shooting table is tilted and upsetting the shooter's aim. Because maybe there's some unfair means being used to keep the prizes from being given out.

    Amusement Park

  • Butterfly of Fortune

    Sophia

It's all going according to the prophecy of the doom machine, but isn't that a little too convenient? But look at this butterfly! What a beautiful color. Can you catch it gently?

Thank you for taking the time to capture these beautiful butterflies. Butterflies are a symbol of good change. The signs are everywhere, but I don't feel like someone is playing with me.

    Amusement Park

  • inside out

    Sophia

We've got to follow the prophecies carefully and not miss any signs of doom. Here we go, I found another one. I bought a souvenir and found a strange coin mixed in with the change. But I'm so clumsy. I dropped it already. Where did it go?

Thanks for finding the lucky coin! It's a "lucky 7" coin that brings you good luck when you carry it around with you. I wonder if there is a pit in there somewhere... to find so many signs of good luck in just one day?

    Amusement Park

  • riches

    Sophia

I was looking for a sign of doom and now I'm hungry. Oh, isn't that the smell of candy apples? I wonder if this has something to do with the prophecy too? Let's look for it.

Hey, did you notice? There's a row of glossy red apples in a figure eight. It's a symbol of prosperity. A sign of good fortune! I don't think it's a coincidence.

    Amusement Park

  • Symbol of Fortune

    Sophia

I'm afraid I'm missing the signs that fate is showing me. Oh, what is that? There's something shiny in the grass. Looks like a horseshoe. Could it be a sign of doom? Why don't we go take a look?

That's great. You found your lucky horseshoe! This is no ordinary horseshoe. It has a four-leaf clover engraved on it, and they say it brings twice as much luck as normal. Fate must be smiling on me.

    Amusement Park

  • Prophecy of Grace

    Sophia

I gave the machine your birthday, so it should be giving you a prediction soon. Here, look! The card came out, but... oh, no! The wind blew it away. Can you go get it?

Thank you. This card has a four-leaf clover symbol and the message "Good luck is right beside you! Don't miss the signs. What a wonderful prophecy. Look for the signs and see what fate awaits you!

    Amusement Park

  • Fifth clue

    Kira Woodville

At last, the last part of the key. The long ears mentioned in the note earlier are probably the rabbit's ears, aren't they? Let's look for a stuffed rabbit.

It's a fluffy plush toy! The last part and message were sewn under the chest: "Our four-legged friend will trade you the key for the crystal."

    Amusement Park

  • Fourth clue

    Rayden Storke

Let's hurry. The city is on the verge of collapse. We are running out of time before it is irreversible. Will the emerald reveal the whereabouts of the next key piece? Hmmm... maybe it's the emerald glasses. Keep looking.

You found the emerald glasses. But how do you figure out the secret with these? That's right, try applying ink developer to the lenses... it works! Look at this message: "Only a pure heart with long ears can guide one."

    Amusement Park

  • Third clue

    Adi

The puppeteer is waiting for us. Let's hurry and find the rest of the key parts. The second note said "ever-blooming flowers," but I have an idea. Try to find the mechanical flower.

You have found a flower with a mechanical mechanism! The petals were closed, but with a little force they opened. Inside were parts of a key and this message: "Stare intently... the emerald reveals its secrets."

    Amusement Park

  • Second clue

    Rayden Storke

The shaking is only getting stronger, but we still only have part of the key. The key words for the next clue are "graceful dance" and "beauty". Could this be about the ballerina doll we saw earlier? Let's check it out.

What a clever trick! Inside the doll's tutu, another part of the key was sewn in. And hidden inside the toe shoes was a note with the following clue: "The ever-blooming flowers are waiting for you."

    Amusement Park

  • First clue

    Kira Woodville

Solve this riddle and you will find the crystal shard and save the puppeteer and the city from destruction. We already know the location of one of the five clues...

Thank you very much. This is the mallet the puppeteer was trying to pass on. There is a hidden compartment in the handle, with parts of a key and a note that says: "A beautiful graceful dance will show you the way."

    Amusement Park

  • Sudden Salvation

    Adi

The puppeteer's body was trapped, but his spirit was not. The enemy then tried to destroy the amusement park machinery, but something prevented them from doing so. You can see it in the way that lantern was broken. Take a look.

This crack in the lantern was carved when a torrent of energy moved the entire amusement park out of the fog. The amusement park then appeared where the puppeteer had wanted it to be for some time.

    Amusement Park

  • unexpected occurrence

    Adi

The puppeteer could not let the crystal fall into enemy hands. Surrender was not an option. So he used an unfinished transistor key as a desperate measure... and all hell broke loose. Find the key.

The key to this transistor was to activate all the defensive functions of the amusement park. However, when it was activated in its unfinished state, the control unit released enormous amounts of energy, causing the puppeteer's consciousness to separate from his body.

    Amusement Park

  • Chain Binding

    Adi

The puppeteers hurried to build a defense facility for the central control system of the amusement park, but they did not make it in time. The enemy attacked and attached horrific restraints to us. Look here, I still have the marks of it on me.

Do you feel the evil energy that these restraints give off? The enemy used this to contain our power. Finally, the puppeteer, isolated and without our help, was left to face them alone. The enemy tried to capture him, but they almost failed.

    Amusement Park

  • lethal weapon

    Adi

In an instant, our peaceful amusement park turned into a battlefield. We fought desperately to protect our puppeteers and our crystal. But our enemies were equipped with bladed Merikensacks. One of those terrible weapons is still here and I will show you.

Do not underestimate the Merikensack. If you see it, you know how dangerous this is. This blade easily pierced our circuits. Nevertheless, thanks to the puppeteer's command, we were able to push back the enemy. Many of our mechanical colleagues were sacrificed...

    Amusement Park

  • robe of shadows

    Adi

The Puppet Master built this amusement park by hiding in a foggy ledger. He dreamed that one day, with the power of crystal, he would clear the fog and let everyone see his magnificent machines. But that dream was shattered by the appearance of enemies clad in robes woven of shadows. Look around you. You may still find one of their discarded robes.

Yes, that is one of the robes they wore. They appeared to be after the puppeteer and his crystal. Their mechanical assistants chased them away, but the enemy kept coming back again and again, persistently.

    Amusement Park

  • Clearing up misunderstandings

    Kira Woodville

It seems that our good intentions were well received. The dolls seemed ready to engage in conversation with us. I folded the amusement park brochure with the invitation and made it into a paper airplane. Please help me fly it.

It was amazing! Paper airplanes sometimes fly very high and are unpredictable... but this time, it flew straight to the doll! He read the letter and understood what it said.

    Amusement Park

  • Useful Gifts

    Kira Woodville

The doll may still be hiding, but he can't have gone very far. His clothes are torn, so I should get some sewing supplies.

Thank you for finding it. Now the doll will be able to mend her clothes. It is possible that she is avoiding us because she is embarrassed that her clothes are torn.

    Amusement Park

  • Repair assistance

    Kira Woodville

The doll took a box of parts, but I may not have the tools to repair myself. If I gave him a leaf-shaped multi-functional tool, he might be able to repair it...but I forgot where I put it.

This is really multi-functional. With this, the doll should be able to repair itself.

    Amusement Park

  • Clear care

    Kira Woodville

He needs to show some seriousness if he's going to gain the puppet's trust. He is obviously damaged and needs to be repaired. As a sign of goodwill, give him a box of parts. But first you have to find that box.

Thank you for taking the box. I put it in a place where the dolls can easily find it. If they know we mean no harm, they may tell us what happened here.

    Amusement Park

  • Integrity

    Kira Woodville

It won't be easy to get the puppet to trust me after Rayden made such a strong move. But now we have no other choice. That is why we have no choice but to face the situation with sincerity. First, look for a seismograph to show that you are serious about the earthquake problem.

Thank you. From the seismograph, we have confirmed that damage to the amusement park machinery has contributed to the worsening of the earthquake. I will also deliver a letter with an explanation of the situation and an apology for Layden's behavior.

    Amusement Park

  • The true identity revealed by the gas

    Rayden Storke

The person we are after must have either caused the earthquake or been involved in some way with it. They are too agile to be human, and they drop machine parts all the time. Yes, I know! Can you help me find a tear gas grenade?

Thank you very much! These grenades are filled with tear gas, so you should keep your distance. I will now throw it at the spy! Okay, he's gassed... but he's not falling asleep! My hypothesis is right on target. He is made of machines!

    Amusement Park

  • Flexible restraints

    Rayden Storke

That's a hell of a chase. I've never had such a hard to catch suspect...we must be just as cunning to catch him. I saw a lasso nearby, so go get it. Let's stall the spy with that.

It is a very sturdy looking lasso. If he gets tangled up in this, he will be completely stuck. Ah, there he is! Let's throw it right away! But...he jumped over like a game of KenKen.

    Amusement Park

  • Cunning Methods

    Rayden Storke

This spy is not normal. I have an idea what it is, but we should catch him before we spend time speculating. Next time, set a trap.

This trap is supposed to be activated the moment the spy enters the range. Then we should be able to restrain him, but...wow, did you see that? I jumped in a heap and was easily dodged! And then he dropped some more gears.

    Amusement Park

  • Quick tracker

    Rayden Storke

He is very elusive. He must know the structure of the amusement park very well, judging from how fast he runs away. He may be the one who built this place. I'll release a bug-shaped signal and try to track him down. Can you bring it to me?

Thank you. These bug-shaped signals are very useful for tracking someone who is trying to hide. Quickly stick to your target and...oh? It looks like they've already been shaken off. How on earth did you...?

    Amusement Park

  • Effects of disguise

    Rayden Storke

We need to talk to the person who dropped that note. To catch a spy, camouflage may help. First, get a hat.

Thank you very much! With this camouflage hat on, we could blend in with the bushes. Then we can ambush... shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh! The spy is approaching! Oops...they've noticed us. But he dropped something. Looks like gears.

    Amusement Park

  • Diamond Durability

    Carlos Light

For the moment, the tremors have calmed down. While Layden is chasing the spy, let's reinforce the machine with abrasive powder. Uh, where did I put the powder...? Can you help me find it?

Thank you very much! I can polish and strengthen machine parts with this crystalline powder. I would be happy if the structure of the machine runs much smoother with it.

    Amusement Park

  • Replacement of parts

    Vera

My father is confident that he can finish the repairs before the city collapses in an earthquake. But he has lost an important set of gears. I was careful not to lose it...will you help me find it?

Thank you very much! Those are the gears I was looking for. Some of the machinery seems to have been intentionally destroyed, but my father can fix it right away. I wonder who the person Rayden witnessed was?

    Amusement Park

  • Smooth movement

    Carlos Light

Whoever built this amusement park is an extraordinary genius. The level of perfection in this mechanical engineering is astounding! But there are still some machines that are not working. Have you seen the oil jug?

Thank you very much. Sometimes a machine can be fixed with just a little oiling. This oiler has fixed countless machines in the past. The attraction has started to move and the shaking seems to have subsided a bit.

    Amusement Park

  • Latest Tools

    Vera

Please do not tell Director Black that I am here. Even the collectors don't like this shaking, just like everyone else. I'm just here to help my father with the repairs. My father is supposed to have a new set of tools around here, can you help me find them?

Oh yes, this is it! I just gave this set of tools to my father last week. He said he could fix anything with it. He is the kind of person who would give me a tree branch and I would turn it into something useful...

  • Voltage drop

    Carlos Light

It is a magnificent machine, but all of them are broken at every turn! We need to fix it before the city goes out of control. First, we need to reduce the voltage with a portable power cutoff device. But where did I put it... can you help me find it?

Thank you for finding the power shutoff device. This will temporarily interrupt the flow of electricity and allow you to safely repair the machine. Let's hurry up and get this done before the effect wears off.

    Amusement Park

  • Metal Dissonance

    Rayden Storke

What kind of person could put together an entire amusement park in one night? Even if it was avocados, it is too unrealistic. Let's conduct our investigation with great care and caution. The shaking and noise are getting worse and worse.

As Director Black said, this seems to be the epicenter. And the amusement park machinery has gone haywire...rattling, sparking, and shaking violently. Let's see if we can fix it.

  • Director's ploy

    Conductor

How can we lure the Ouroboros out of the studio? It's as if he's waiting for his cue to make his grand entrance...so let's get him one. Find me a bamboo clapper. It will make a clapping sound.

Thanks for looking for the clapsticks. The moment I heard what sounded like a clap, the Ouroboros showed up. It seems he wasn't just hiding, he wanted to perform.

    Dream Studio

  • viper (esp. a pitless viper)

    Conductor

Ouroboros doesn't want to leave the studio. But we can't leave him here. That guy has already been here too long. How about giving him some ripe persimmons? They're his favorite!

That's a nice smelling persimmon. Ouroboros will love it. Come on out, Ouroboros. It's time to go home!

    Dream Studio

  • Practical props

    Conductor

Several onlookers screamed when they saw the python in the studio. We need to get Ouroboros home before the whole studio panics. Let's find out where he is hiding.

Thanks for finding where the Ouroboros is hiding. He crawled onto the movie set. I called out to him that Martha would be furious if he left, but he wouldn't budge!

    Dream Studio

  • Ouroboros' favorite.

    Conductor

I searched all over the studio but could not find Ouroboros. Martha tells me he is stubborn. Maybe he doesn't want to go home yet and is hiding. Let's try to lure him out with his favorite toy, a stuffed fish. Will you look for him with me?

Yes, that's it. Ouroboros loves stuffed fish. As soon as he saw this, he crawled out... but then he noticed the carry bag, realized our intentions, and hid again. He's a smart guy, totally.

    Dream Studio

  • Comfortable bag

    Conductor

Martha says she has comfortably adjusted the Ouroboros carry-on bag, so she should be able to bring it home without scaring anyone. Can you help me find him?

Thank you! This carrier bag sure looks comfy. Martha's python will be safe and comfortable. Now all I have to do is catch the Ouroboros.

  • Secret support from fans

    Juliette

I was so busy practicing my lines that I didn't notice, but it looks like someone left a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the pavilion at some point. It's accompanied by a toy and something else. May I have a look?

Hey, did you read the note? It says, "To a lovely young lady." I guess a fan snuck a bouquet of flowers for you. That's sweet! Now let's go back to practicing our romantic scene.

  • The date you've been waiting for

    Juliette

While I was looking around the studio, someone seemed to light the Korean lanterns that were to be hung above my head in a romantic scene. Help me hang them.

Thank you. Hanging the lanterns really changed the atmosphere of the pavilion! It's so romantic. I've always wanted to go on a date in a place like this.

  • A Cup of Healing

    Juliette

I'm getting used to the atmosphere on the set, but I still get nervous when it comes to filming. I'm the lead and I want everything to be perfect, but... maybe a hot drink would help ease my nerves. Bring me some tea.

Thanks a lot. I love hibiscus tea! Lovely aroma...I feel like I'm standing in a field of flowers! It's perfect for easing my nerves before a shoot.

    Dream Studio

  • Accompanying photography

    Juliette

I haven't finished setting up the props for the shoot yet, so I can't really get into the role. There should be pudding on the table. Can you go get it?

Thank you! That pudding looks so good. I'll probably be tired of it by the end of today's shoot, but it's still delicious! It's so much easier to get into a role when you have the right props for the scene.

    Dream Studio

  • as per the script

    Juliette

I want to get into this role and leave a good impression on the director. I also need to know all the set pieces. According to the script, a tea table is used in this scene. Can you help me find it?

Thanks for helping me find the tea table! The set was so amazing I didn't even realize it was here. I'm going to sit down and pose for a minute. Let me know how it looks through the camera.

  • just like the real thing

    Inspector

I've read the script and have a theory as to the identity of the noises the neighbors are reporting. The killer may have hidden a horse somewhere in the studio and intends to make a quick getaway with it when the time comes. Let's find the horse.

The brave horse you found is a prop. If the horse isn't real, then what is the spooky sound? This takes us back to square one. Let's keep thinking.

    Dream Studio

  • careful planning

    Inspector

Judging from the evidence found in the pavilion, this crime scene-like situation appears to be staged. A rehearsal for a real crime, perhaps? Also, I found this notebook. Looks like notes from a screenplay. You should take a look through them. Maybe you'll find a clue.

Amazing. The script matches the evidence in the pavilion perfectly. It appears that the notebook contains the entire plan for this crime. The scriptwriter's handwriting is so dirty that it's going to take some time to decipher...

  • Crimson Betrayal

    Inspector

There seems to be something behind this robbery. But it is too early to draw conclusions. At least let's see where those bloody footprints lead before we do.

These are the shoeprints of a woman. It appears that the killer then removed her shoes to cover the footprints. No...wait, this isn't blood to begin with. It's dried cherry jam!

    Dream Studio

  • Elaborate fakes

    Inspector

The pavilion is much vandalized. The tables have been overturned, the sofa is torn, and the plum vase is shattered and ruined. This piece of porcelain is probably from a vase. Let's take a closer look at the shards.

I knew it. This is a piece of a celadon vase called a plum bottle...or, more precisely, a replica of one. This is getting interesting. It looks like the jar was filled with fake gold. Maybe there was a robbery?

    Dream Studio

  • Immature Bowman

    Inspector

To find out what is going on in the studio, we need to follow all the clues. Let's start with the bamboo arrow stuck in that door. Let's try to find a bow that matches this arrow.

You found it well. That's a Korean bow, called a gakgung. The killer doesn't seem to have much experience with bows. He missed several arrows before hitting the object. But what was he targeting? Let's find out more.

Let me help you with your amulet charge. My bravest act, it is not to confront the secrets and dangers of the city. If you want to know what it was, find the key to the dungeon.

Thank you. This key opens the dungeon. The dungeons are the place I fear the most, but they are also the place where I have shown the most courage. I risked my life to protect the city. Tell the young people not to give up.

    Juliette

It's wonderful to help young people fulfill their dreams. I'll help you put my strength into my talisman. My symbol of courage is my family ring. Find it.

I share my courage with Martha's amulet. My courage is to stand up to danger and hold on tight to my weapon when fighting monsters. The proof is on my hat. Do you see it?

That's right. Those are iron gargoyle claw marks. It was close, but I held on and in the end I won. That's my courage.

  • Pendant of Courage

    Juliette

Martha asked me to tell her my story of courage and charge her with a talisman. Could I really make someone's dreams come true? But I'm not just going to tell you, I'm going to show you! Look for the pendant in town.

You found the pendant! Isn't it lovely? I found it when I was new in town, wandering the fog-shrouded streets. To me, courage is unlocking the secrets of this place.

I've got an idea on how to get rid of evil spirits! All we have to do is fill the studio with light. If only I could find the lever...oh, here it is. But it's stuck. Can you pull it together?

The lever moved. The light was supposed to shine into the pavilion...but it's still dim. It's too dark. That evil spirit is disturbing me again!

  • nonflammable candle

    Martha

I asked Thane to light a candle to ward off evil spirits. But here's the key: make sure it doesn't get lit. That way he will be forced to manifest his power. Can you help me?

Thanks. I've wet the candle wick so it won't work. It won't catch fire, so Thane's fear of evil spirits is growing. We're almost there... just need to push him a little bit more, and he'll show us what he's made of.

    Mistress

Sein seems to be worried about the studio. Good. Let's push him harder. Tell him that an evil spirit closed the studio door and locked us in. Check the locks. Maybe you and Thane can get out.

My keys are jammed. It looks like I'm really locked in. Now Thane has no choice but to drive away the "evil spirits" and protect his precious studio. They say spirits are afraid of bright lights...

Mrs. Martha is insisting that there is an evil spirit in the house. They broke the cable and now they've even started a fire! The flames are spreading all over the set. I need your help! We need a fire extinguisher. Hurry before it's too late!

Thank God they found the fire extinguisher. If we had been a few seconds later, the whole studio, not just the set, would have caught fire. If that had happened, I don't know if I would have survived...

    Dream Studio

  • hidden danger

    Martha

To awaken Thane's hidden powers, we need to create real danger. The mistress of the house raised her hand. She's good at this sort of thing. I can already smell something burning. Can you hurry up and find the source of the fire?

Yes, the fire is from a damaged cable! Not actually dangerous, but it looks scary enough. Let's tell Thane that an evil spirit has possessed the studio. Hopefully he'll be strong enough to stand up to it and save the studio.

How much better it would have been if you were a magician. I could have used a spell to get rid of the nerves and get through the audition. So far, the most effective thing I've found is... music. Want to hear what kind of music helps?

Cheerful music is my secret weapon against tension. When I put on my headphones, I feel like I have special powers. I was listening to the same music before I came here.

I worked hard to become an actor. Not to come to this city. I took acting lessons. I have my certificate somewhere.

This amulet is a memento of all the dramas shot at the studio. The whole crew gets one, including me as a janitor. I've worked here for many years and cherish this job.

    Mistress

Here it is! I found a small box in Thane's pocket that glowed faintly. It could be the source of that destructive lightning bolt. That magical device has to be here somewhere. Find it.

How does this magic device work? It doesn't produce magic or lightning. It's just a funny looking lamp. I'm disappointed. I guess Thane is no match for a real magician like me.

Thane is carrying around a strange container. He says it's for cleaning, but maybe it's a potion for casting spells? Or a hidden magic item? Let's find out.

  • Beads of Truth

    Martha

Thane may be intentionally hiding his power. Maybe he intends to attack us when we let our guard down. But don't worry, I have a way to find out for sure. Can you find my jade bracelet?

    Mistress

The next test is easy. I gave Thane the poisoned candy. A real magician would immediately sense the danger. But he didn't hesitate to pop it in his mouth! If you want to help, find some muskmelons. It's an antidote.

I cast a spell on this muskmelon. The poison was neutralized and Thane came to his senses. But... was it all an act? The necromancer is a good actor.
