Shaving Brush
Juliette
Another couple of items are needed to make the present into a full set. Have you guessed already? A Shaving Brush, of course. A very, very soft one.
Amazing! A Shaving Brush that even comes with its own handmade leather case! There are some instructions here... Let's have a read. "This shaving brush has been made by hand from the highest quality badger hair. After shaving, the brush must be washed in water, shaken out and put to dry, hair downwards, onto the stand."
-
Room Full of Treasure
Cardsharp
I'm sure the old Mayor is panicking for no reason, as always. I get the feeling the only thing waiting for us in that treasure is riches. Besides, we need to hurry and find the most valuable pieces before the other City residents beat us to it.
The priceless amulet is a valuable find. Have you noticed the walls of the cave? There's an inscription: "The guiding star will open the path to untold treasure and glory to the conqueror of the five seas." And underneath there's something like an altar with recesses and a faded note.
-
The Master's Trump Card
Detective
Hey, I never knew Martha managed to come to the City of Shadows with the help of Harry Houdini, the illusionist who could free himself from handcuffs without a key! It seems they have some connection to Martha's past, and this is the last item we need to save her. Find Houdini's Handcuffs, buddy.
You've found Houdini's Handcuffs! They're really heavy. I can't imagine how he took them off while hanging upside-down beneath the roof of a skyscraper, at the bottom of a river, or especially in the barrel of a cannon with a lit fuse! I wouldn't be suprised if Houdini was also a wizard... but let's hurry and try to find Martha. We're just a step away from summoning the Medium's Key and bringing her soul back from the astral plane!
-
Business Approach
Isabelle
I'm so glad to see you. I really need your help. The thing is, I'm so busy right now. I'm swamped with work and there's only 24 hours in a day. I'm behind with positively everything. I hear that in the lost baggage section at the Station, in one of the bags, is a hint to the whereabouts of a very valuable artifact. One that helps you keep up with everything. I don't know what it means exactly... maybe it makes the day longer or stops time, but I really need this artifact. Help me find the lost baggage first.
It's a fine traveling bag, but there's no artifacts inside. I'm certain it's in one of these bags. The Boggarts were the ones who told me about it, and those beasts are always the first to know about everything. According to them, there were five bags in the lost baggage section and you've only found one. Where are the rest?
-
Mr.Black
First Question
Miss Woodville has vouched that she kept you in sight the whole time. But I need more evidence. I must make sure that you're the person you claim to be and aren't connected with any of the City's enemies. The night before last, there was a theft in my ?ity. Where were you at that time? I'll need proof to confirm your answer.
-
Worldwide Recognition
Juliette
I once saw a photograph of Martha on a stage. I noticed her brooch - it was the symbol of her recognition as Martha the Most Powerful. This is avery important part of her past. It will help us summon the Medium's Key, the last key we need to save Martha from oblivion. Mon ami please find that brooch!
Mon ami, thank you for finding Martha's brooch. It's so beautiful! This sapphire eye in a diamond frame is one of the symbols and pillars of her life, a reflection of her fame and universal recognition. This valuable charm will be a worthy contribution to the Medium's Key we need to bring Martha back to life!
-
Protect the Heart
Huntress
Mein Freund, you deserve to be called the Mystery Solver. However, the damaged anti-fog shield puts you at risk during your flight on the airship. To protect yourself, look for a special amulet called the Helmet of Terror.
The Helmet of Terror Amulet is adorned with a sign that the Vikings used before battle. It will protect you from your gratest enemy: fear.
-
Protect the Body
Cardsharp
I'm disappointed that the City didn't choose me as the Mystery Solver... Oh well. He who risks less lives longer. I advise you to find a falcon-shaped amulet for protection during the flight. I could lend you mine, but I lost it somewhere. Will you look for it?
The Falcon with Shen Ring will protect you from death. Ancient pharaohs used it as a guardian of the body and soul. I never got to teset its effecitiveness, and I hope you won't get to either.
-
Protect the Soul
Adeline Svensson
You're going to the Upper City? Wow! One sensation after another, my readers will be dlighted! I'm going to write an article about you. But first let's protect you during the flight. You will need an eye-shaped amulet called a nazar bonjuk.
The nazar bonjuku looks simple, but I've aleardy seen it harness great power in the City. This amulet protects from otherworldly evil. You'll definitely need it.
-
Protect the Memory
Mayor
We need to protect your memory during the flight, since you not only turned out to be the Mystery Solver, but also agreed to go with Rayden. It's good that the City has given us many artifacts. One of them is Mnemosyne's Chalice. I've seen it nearby. Could you find it?
Mnemosyne's Chalice contains the water of eternal memory from the ancient goddess's spring. It will protect your mind. I'll give the chalice to Martha so she can enhance its effect.
-
Protect the Focus
Martha
The airship was protected with devices based on the Collector's blueprints. We can't fix the anti-fog headlamps, but we'll try to use something our part of the City is good at. We can protect you from the fog with the help of magic. Bring me a Mudra: a protective palm-shaped amulet.
A mudra is a simple but reliable amulet. It will protect you from losing your focus. I'll enhance its effect so that it can resist the fog.
-
Protection of the Sun
Valerie
According to Martha, trolls are very dangerous and cunning. Before you leave for the Troll Market, ask yourself whether your heart is pure. Will you be able to resist the temptation that awaits behind this door?
What a bizarre place! It's as if we're in an abandoned library - there are bookshelves and scrolls everywhere. In the niches, where the books used to be, there are now shops! Look at all the artifacts! Odd clocks, wondrous lamps, candles, wands, sweets like in an Asian market! And a real tree of stone with a living heart made of amber! But where are the trolls? Why is there no one behind the counters?
-
Detective awaits
Huntress
Listen, while I was reshing here, I sawa Detective near City Hall. He told me he has something important to taok to you about. But be careful, I saw several werewolves on nearby strests and they were fighting with each other for a bunch of lock picks. Of course, werewolves are not very bright but they're bright enough to figure out lock picks. And can you imagine werewolves coming and going as they please into any house? So, if you were going to fight them anyway, take those picks from them.
Hi, I'm glad you came. Remember you helped me meet with Juliette? You know my feelings so I want to talk to you specifically.
-
The shilling of accuracy
Huntress
I already came here several times to find it with no success. But tonight I felt sure Kipling's shilling would be mine. Now I've seen you I'm even more convinced. Your talents may attract the shilling to us - would you mind trying?
Yes, that's it! Heh, town monsters, beware! No one can oppose the Huntress equipped with Kipling's shilling of accuracy!
-
First-aid kit for Huntress
Huntress
I barely made it here. I twisted my ankle when the werewolves chased me from the dungeion. The first-aid kit from the plance crash would come in handy but I can hardly walk. Will you help me?
Let me take some medicine and bandage my feet, then I'll tell you why I came.
-
Game Mystery Solver
Cardsharp
You think only a great mage or a bigwig could be the Mystery Solver? Think again! I'm sure that luck will play a bigger role in saving the City than magic. And who does luck favor? Ask my lucky deck!
My lucky deck will lead me to success, mark my words. I'll easily save the Upper City... if they give me a decent reward.
-
Spell Mystery Solver
Mistress
This girl, Kira, is right. The words "Mystery Solver" clearly point to a mage. Me! You need proof? Take my Magic Detector. With a single touch of this glove, I can see whether a person has a magical gift or not. That's what I call mystery solving! Get my detector!
Excellent! Forget about the ritual. It's obvious that I'm the one the residents of the Upper City are waiting for. But will I decide to go and help them...?
-
Human Mystery Solver
Rayden Storke
I talked with your partner, the Detective, for a bit and he looks like a suitable candidate for the title of Mystery Solver. Do you think he'll agree to provide a personal item for the magic ritual? For example, that special revolver he told me so much about.
This revolver doesn't just scare criminals, it can also stop a monster. It looks magical... It has an engraving that reads: "Spartk." This must be its name.
-
Magic Mystery Solver
Kira Woodville
The Mystery Solver could be anyone. But I think it's someone who has knowledge inaccessible to the Upper City. As a mage, your medium Martha can do things that no one back home is capable of. Her Crystal Ball will prove that she is the Mystery Solver.
With her Crystal Ball, Martha lays claim to the title of Mystery Solver. But will she agree to come with us? Or will I have to...? Anyway, let's keep looking.
-
City Mystery Solver
Rayden Storke
The City's future lies in the hands of the Mystery Solver. But this title could apply to anyone! Your mages are ready to invoke the powers of the City to find who the Mystery Solver is. To do this, they need something belonging to those who want to claim the title. The Mayor is the most obvious candidate. He knows everything about the City. Can you bring me proof of that?
This is the map of the Upper City, where we came from! The Mayor must have saved it because he thought it could still be useful.
-
Straightening Tool
Juliette
I read somewhere that the razor must be sharpened. Special strops are needed to do this.
That's the right belt! It's made out of specially cured ox leather. I'm forever in your debt.
-
Razor Case
Juliette
This sort of razor really must have an exquisite case. One that is nice to just hold in your hands?
Yes, this case was made by a real master. It's a work of art.
-
Sharp Gift
Juliette
Bonjour. I have a little free time today and I came to ask you something. Do you think it will be okay if I give some men's accessories to the Detective? Maybe some shaving accessories. The Detective has been so nice to me and even gave me flowers recently. They were really beautiful. The Mistress was green with envy when she saw them. Please tell me, will you help? Imagine me giving the Detective an exquisite shaving kit. Could you please help me find the best razor in the City?
What a well crafted razor! Did you know that these razors are handmade in my beloved France? It's so sharp that you could cut a piece of dust in two!
-
Ribbon in Her Hair
Isabelle
The final touch on the Huntress's dance outfit is a decorative Red Ribbon with something written on it. I don't know where to search for such an item.
You managed to find the ribbon. It's fire-red like the blood of the werewolves' victims. You're such a talented Discoverer!
-
Chic Stilettos
Isabelle
In her dream, the Huntress was always wearing a pair of red high heels. They'll be easy to find.
I can't imagine the Huntress wearing high heels. Boots, moccasins, barefuuto, sure, but never high heels.
-
Red Fan
Isabelle
Another recurring detail of the Huntress's dream - she's always holding a hand fan. It's red too, of course. Bring it, if you could be so kind.
I was right - both the signet ring and the fan are both hand-made and of a high quality. I wouldn't mind meeting the craftsman who made these fine things.
-
Sinister Trinket
Isabelle
The Huntress also said that she's always wearing a ring with a werewolf's head on it in her dream. Please find it.
It looks like the signet ring was hand-made. It looks nice. Where did the werewolves find it, I wonder?
-
Scarlet Velvet
Isabelle
We need to gather up the things from the Huntress's dream in which she dances with the werewolf leader. She remembers what they look like, and when we find them, we'll know where the monsters have hidden their mirror. The Huntress always sees the same pair of Red Gloves on her hands. Find them.
What fashionable velvet gloves! Why do the werewolves summon such thoughts?
-
Essential Pomegranate
Alex
Unlike some, I think that you sometimes have to take care of yourself instead of others. How do you feel about pomegranates? They're ripe, juicy and full of vitamins... We don't know what surprises the City has in store for us, but a Pomegranate and its juice will always come in handy. Will you find one?
There we go. I hope Edward doesn't like this Pomegranate. Then we can eat it instead.
-
Juicy Kiwi
Alex
I suggest we help Valerie choose some fruit for Eddie. The first thing that comes to mind is a Kiwi. He's sure to love this sweet fruit. Could you bring some?
Don't worry about the kiwi's green colour. There's a sweet surprise at its core.
-
Vitamin-Rich Citrus
Valerie
For edward to stay healthy, he needs vitamins every day - so I make him freshly squeezed orange juice. But I've run out of oranges. Can you bring some?
Don't you just love fresh orange juice? Then I'll have to make you eat at least on orange before breakfast.
-
Sweet Strawberries
Valerie
Edward can't just eat Cherries all day. He needs something sweet. Strawberries, for example. Can you find some fresh ones?
Wow, such ripe and sweet Strawberries. I might even add some to my ice cream.
-
Ripe Cherries
Valerie
It's a little awkward to talk about, but nobody has treated my Edward to something tasty for a long time. He really likes fruit, as long as it's fresh and ripe. Bring me some Cherries and I'll show you how he eats them.
Did you see? Edward doesn't eat the cherry pip, he throws it away.
-
The Dead Man's Cache
Detective
What would I do if I had something to hide? I'd use the skeleton as a marker. He's looking forward, and his legs are straight. But there are no symbols ahead of him of behind him. Although... our skeleton friend is missing a hand. I think if we find the hand, we'll find the cache as well!
The skelton's hand is pointing towards the wall where cells with some kind of symbols are clearly visible. This must be the cache. Now there's nothing left to do but open it.
-
A Secret Message
Detective
If this basement under the Chapel is linked to the Mster, and the Master worked with temporal disruptions, then maybe we should look at it ghrough the Lens of Time. The Master, like any talented scientist, had something to hide, especially from strangers! Take a good look at this tablet. I feel it wasn't always so smooth.
Success! I remember the sign drawn on this tablet well! It's the Sumerian symbol we saw in the musical cache in the Organ! Why is it only visible in the past?
-
The Master Again
Detective
This picture of an hourglass really scares me. Games with time again? Is it the mysterious Master from the case with the Organ? I suspect this basement is connected to him somehow as well. But any accusation must be grounded strictly on clear evidence. Find evidence in the Chapel Basement!
What do we have here? What luck! This is the Lens of Time Diagram! And it has the Master's initial on it - the letter M. The same as on the Station Clock and on the Organ itself! Now we have proof that all these incredible things belong to him.
-
The cent of straightforwardness
Alex
My investigation isn't progressing and it makes me think of Sam Spade, the great private detective. Have you heard of him? There's a famous book about him, "The Maltese Falcon". He was always so straightforward and got what he wanted. This is something I lack. I'm always dealing with my own past and I get lost in a maze of memories. The Medium said there's a one cent coin that Sam Spade dropped when he visited the City once. I'd love to have it.
My desire to settle my past in increasing. My self-confidence grows, too, and it feels like I've grown in height and my shoulders straighten by themselves. I've even remembered something from my past life! I have to check it out; see you later.
-
The yuan of bravery
Valerie
I lack confidence and leadership skills. I am, to put it one way, too obedient. In this fountain was a Yuan coin thrown in by the Chinese Heaven Emperor when he passed through the City. That Yuan was charged with some of the emperor's authority and self-confidence. Can you find it for me?
Is it the same coin? I have to hold it... Hmm, I don't fell anything. But if I put it in my pocket I'm sur it will work! Ah, I think I feel myself becoming braver! Or not... I feel it... Yes, I bet it works! Give me three dozen werewolves, I will beat them all! Okay, now to visit the Conductor, he accused me of being meek. Time to show him!
-
Sounds From Afar
Cardsharp
We've found four instruments. Only one more left, but which one? What's that sound? I bet my top hat, it's a harmonica! This is the last instrument. Hurry, bring it here.
You won't believe it but this harmonica is mine. Well, not completely mine. I won it and then gambled it away again to the conductor. I bet the drunkard lost it.
-
Crying Zurna
Cardsharp
Three out of five instruments - not so shabby at all, my friend. While you were away, I talked to the Mayor a bit and he told me that he saw a crying zurna in the City just fifty years ago. I have no idea what a zurnais, but the Mayor is sure it's what we need.
So this is a zurna? Well, I'll take your word for it. But let's speed up our efforts, I'm not feeling too well.
-
Hourglass Coins
Detective
There's a strange red light coming from this flashlight! Well, as a treasure hunter, Cardsharp is certainly indispensable but it's just as I thought - we're not dealing with a Diggers Cache here. Hm... Look at these gold coins scatered on the Chapel's floor! Something isn't quite right with them!
All the coins have hourglasses imprinted on them! But hourglasses or not, the coins are one-hundred percent gold!
-
Lute
Cardsharp
We're getting closer to saving me, colleague. We already have a harp and bagpipes. Let's keep searching. I distinctly remember that, while looking for a guitar for Alex, Valerie found an antique lute somewhere. But he was not happy with it, as always, and threw it out. It would be good to find it.
You name it, the City has got it. Even lutes. Only Tournament invitations are hard to come by.
-
Mystery of Origin
Cardsharp
We found the shadow harp. Do you have any ideas what to look for next? I was thinking that maybe we should search for bagpipes. I remember the Conductor mentioned seeing some in the City.
Bagpipes are an instrument from Scotland, right. Did you know that some of Conductor's ancestors were Scottish? Maybe his love for whiskey is hereditary?
-
Grave Peril
Cardsharp
I'm so lucky to meet you today, colleague. I have some delicate business to discuss. You see, yesterday I met a stranger and he asked to play me for an invitation to a Card Tournament against my living time. How could I refuse? I have tons of time and invitations are so rare. But he cheated me! Now the sand grains of my life are inexorably trickling through the Time Clock. Poor Cardsharp can only be saved if you turn this clock upside down at the last possible moment. Everyone knows that the clock is somewhere in the Organ Room and only the music of five shadow musical items can help find it. But I have no idea where to look for them. Although, I did see a ghostly harp somewhere in the City recently. Find it to begin with.
You found the harp. Please, find the other four instruments quickly to save my young life.
-
The Magnificence of India
Martha
Another one of my friends is from India. She's mild-mannered and doesn't say much. I think she'd very much like to see an illustration of the Taj Mahal on her plate. Can you find one like that?
What a wonderful illustration! Someone put their soul into it. Depicting the Taj Mahal in a more beautiful way would be impossible.
-
An English Clock
Martha
Another friend in my circle of mediums is a prim Englishwoman. We need to find her a plate with an illustration of her beloved Big Ben.
So many times I've had to listen to the same story about this clock. She wanted us to set our watches by Big Ben. What can you do? It's the English way.
-
Broken Protection
Kira Woodville
I helped Rayden hide the information. That was a good decision, considering how dangerous it is to fly through the fog. Just as we feared, the fog got into the cabin and made us forget everything. But I remember Rayden marking something on one of the anti-fog headlamps. Where is it?
The headlamps, designed to be anti-fog lamps, protected the airship. But they broke. However, here is Rayden's mark. It points to the information cache.
-
Incoming Danger
Mayor
I really don't like what Rayden is saying about the City. But we can only discover what happened if we find the cache of records. Bring Rayden the next item that leads to the cache: an indicator. It shows how strong the fog is.
So the main trouble in the other part of the City is a dense and dangerous fog. Is that why they came here? We can't say for sure yet. We need to find the information cache.
-
Uninterrupted Power
Rayden Storke
We're on the right track to finding the information cache. Each item we find brings back more memories. The fog grew more dangerous and started to appear in the City during the day as well. We fought it by making artifacts. But they consumed a lot of energy... A Power Source is the next clue! Find it.
This Power Source donesn't seem to be working. But it has a mark that indicates the next item leading to the information cache.
-
Light in the Fog
Rayden Storke
I seem to recall something... The curfew was imposed because of the fog. Volunteers would patrol the borders to make sure no one got lost. I was one of them. I had a special bracelet with a red light. This bracelet it the next clue on our way to the information cache! Please find it.
See how the bracelet glows? This makes it clearly visible in the fog. I would wear it to avoid getting lost. And there were others with me...
-
Time to Hide
Rayden Storke
I do remember hiding some information on the airship. Now that the fog has entered the cabin and damaged our memories, the cache will help us. I've personally selected the symbolic items that will lead us to the cache. I remember the first item, it's a radio. It helped me in my work... Find this Radio Receiver.
The radio would announce curfew in the City. Look, there's a red dot on it. It should point us to the next item that leads to the cache.
-
Sphinx in the Sand
Martha
One of my medium friends in from Egypt. I doubt I even need to give you any clues for this one. A plate with the image of a Sphinx is an irresistible lure.
You know, I saw the Sphinx when I visited Egypt. The illustration on the plate is a very good likeness.
-
An Italian View
Martha
I've already thought of a way to designate their places. I won't be putting down any place cards as this isn't a banquet. I want to lay the table with cake plates, and each of them will have a picture on it, a symbol of a country. For my Italian friend, I need to find a dish showing the Colosseum.
The illustration on thie plate reminds me of unfulfilled dreams. I always wanted to visit Italy and see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum... Believe it or not, I never once visited there in all these years.
-
Diggers Or Not
Detective
Cardsharp thinks this is another Diggers' Cache but I doubt it. We need to go and take a look! If Diggers are really involved, then we might find some of their things, say, a flashlight for underground work.
Yes, we found a flashlight, certainly, but it doesn't look like a diggers' flashlight at all. Those are rudely made and filthy, convered with dirt and soot. This one is more like another piece of lab equipment, what with its constant eerie red glow.
-
Where's The Coffee?
Conductor
Since we're in a cafe, would you bring me a mug of coffee? Refreshing yourself before such a serious matter won't do any harm. Besides, after a shot of caffeine I grasp things better...
Thank you.
-
The Tastiest Cocktail
Conductor
We're almost there. We have four liquors already. Valerie confessed to me once that she hadn't tried anything tastier than a "Werewolf's Blood" cocktail. So find it fast.
A great cocktail, but I still prefer pure whiskey. Even if it's not on the rocks.
-
Formula To a Successful Game
Conductor
Cardsharp's favorite liquor? It's easy to guess... For an avid gambler, it's whiskey on the rocks. Find me a good single malt.
A good whiskey in an essential component of "The Bartender's Nightmare".
-
The Memory of Magic
Martha
Rayden Storke's box contained many ordinary things, but also things filled with magic: I can feel the echoes of their power. I can tell you where an artifact came from just by looking at it. Find the artifact and I'll do the rest.
The artifact you found is a tru Erzgamma star. It has protective properties. Could the airship have come from a city with magic?
-
The Memory of the Residents
Kira Woodville
Not being able to remember your past is very unsettling. I don't know where i came from or if someone is waiting for me... Sometimes I get these flashbaacks... I remember how I insisted on taking an Address Book with us. Help me find it.
There are only a few names here! I guess our city isn't very big. I think I'm starting to remember... A cipher. I'll keep the book for now.
-
The Memory of a Message
Mayor
I really want to know where the airship came from. It's unfortunate that the passengers lost their memory because of the fog. We need to help them remember everything. What would I do if I had appointed someone an ambassador...? Entrust them with a Sealed Message, of course! Could you look for something like that?
Here it is, a message with an official seal! What a stack of envelopes! Surely one of them must have the information we need.
-
Protective Seal
Mayor
Five inventors living in the City offered salvation from Heartless. They created a protection artifact - a Flaming Skull combining the power of the other five skulls: gold, crystal, bronze, glass and platinum. They were also made in the form of skulls in order to frighten away particularly curious individuals. Hurry up and find the Platinum Skull before Heartless begins to cause more trouble!
We are fortunate. The Platinum Skull is the final piece we need. In the past, when the inventors captured Heartless, they were not able to destroy him, so they sealed him in an underground trap. The Flaming Skull has faithfully guarded the entrance, scaring away outsiders and denying Heartless an escape to freedom.
-
Monsters on the Loose
Mayor
One day a wanderer named Heartless appeared in the City. He truly didn't have a heart when he awakened within people the urges for robbery, violence and murder. And now he's free again! You must quickly find five protection skulls before the monster has a chance to cause more trouble. Quickly search for the Glass Skull.
The Glass Skull, you have found it! Our chances of fixing the situation are getting better. Ever since Heartless appeared in the City, many residents have turned into cold-blooded and sharewd bandits. Maliciousness has flourished; plunging the City into an evil abyss.
-
Memory of a Gift
Detective
Our guests claim to have forgotten where they came from. But Rayden's box contains information about the airship crew's mission. So we need to find the items that fell out of the box. Rayden recalls a Decorative Badge. Let's look for it, but be careful. We don't know if these two are telling us the truth.
Look! The badge says: "Presented by the Security Service as a sign of friendship." Show the badge to Rayden, maybe he will remember something else.
-
Memories of the Mission
Rayden Storke
There must be some items on board that can bring back our memories and help us understand where we came from. I vaguely recall having an Ambassador's Box. Its contents may remind us of the details of our mission. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the box inside the airship. Help me look for it among the things that fell out during the landing.
The Ambassador's Box is decorated with the image of our home city. There was a name on the plate... But it seems to have broken off during the landing.
-
Anti-Fear Medicine
Conductor
The only thing that can overcome Alex's fears is absinthe. It's probably his favorite. Find some absinthe, please.
Brr, absinthe. I just don't understand how you can love this bitter thing. But for "The Bartender's Nightmare" I'm prepared to endure its taste.
-
Foamy Goodness
Conductor
Huntress's favorite drink is a fresh beer. After every fight, frau Huntress laments that it's hard to find her favorite beer in the City. But I'm sure you can do it.
What a smell! What foam... even with a damp glass. It's the freshest beer. It's good that frau Huntress isn't here or we'd have to kiss "The Bartender's Nightmare" goodbye.
-
Martha's Favourite Drink
Conductor
Have you ever heard about thid legendary cocktail, "The Bartender's Nightmare" - that can return you to your happy past for a few minutes? Unfortunately, its recipe has long since been lost. According to the legend, there's another way to get this cocktail. If once in five years, on a Black Friday evening, you leave five favorite drinks of residents of the City at the entrance to the Red Rose, then by morning the Invisible Bartender will make you The Bartender's Nightmare. Today is just the right day. Please, help me gather the necessary drinks. Let's start with Martha, shall we. I dropped by her home unannounced once and she was sitting in a chair with a glass of tequila. So if you need to look for Martha's favorite beverage, tequila - I heard that Red Rose cafe has some.
You found tequila in the City! Unbelievable! You're a greater magician than Martha! Find four more of the City's residents' favourite drinks to make "The Bartender's Nightmare" cocktail.
-
Protection From Gorgon's Glance
Valerie
Now we need some sea water. What do you mean, why? Gorgon's eye turns everything it looks at into stone. Only sea water can protect us from it. We need to drench my poor hand in this water or it too will petrify. So find some sea water please.
Real sea water - fantastic! I'm beginning to think nothing is impossible for you. You're my saviour!
-
Folder Full Of Secrets
Juliette
Mon ami, we are so close! Only one item left to find. But what item? Maybe the folder that Detective uses to store his important documents will do? Find it, monsieur, I beg you!
So many papers and letters! I wonder who they're from.
-
Gorgon's Fang
Valerie
While you were away, I reread the legend one more time. It turns out, Gorgon's fang can destroy any magic. If you touch a bewitched item with this fang, the bracelet's magic will weaken. can you find Gorgon's fang?
How creepy! I wouldn't want fangs like Gorgon had. But we're almost there... only two items left, and this disgusting bracelet will be off.
-
Rose Oil
Valerie
If you apply magical rose oil onto your hand, the petrified bracelet will slip off easily. But such oil is stored in a special magic bottle made from Venetian glass. Can you find one?
You found a Venetian bottle? Greate. Mmm... what a pleasant smell this oil has. Do you think it's okay if I take the rest with me? It's so hard to find perfume in this City.

Personal Cache
Juliette
Mon ami, we need to learn the passenger's name if we want to open the airship! But how do we find her personal belongings among all these scattered things? Look, a hat! It must belong to the girl from the airship. Let's take a closer look. I can tell a lot about a person by their hat.
The hat is elegant but sturdy, with goggles on top of it. This means its owner is practical, but appreciates beauty. A weapon is tucked behind the band, so its owner can protect herself.

Personal Weapon
Huntress
Mein Freund, if you want to get the name of the airship's passenger from her personal belongings, don't just focus on jewelry. Take shoes, for instance. Such trifles can tell you a lot about their owner. I noticed a pair of unusual boots nearby. Could you bring them?
A curious pair of boots! Look, there's a dagger hidden inside the toe. We should be careful with the airship's passengers. They came prepared for danger... or they could be dangerous.
-
Spell-Counteractig Poison
Valerie
Legend says that Cleopatra's Secret poison, if applied to the bracelet lock, can weaken the spell. What a beautiful name! It sounds like a perfume. Do you really know where to look for it?
They say, it was that very poison that helped Cleopatra get rid of any unwanted suitors. You name it, this City has it! Maybe Cleopatra herself is here, too?

Personal Spying Tool
Professor
Martha can perform a ritual to learn the passenger's name from the aura of her personal belongings. Only then can we open the airship's cabin. Now we just need to find some personal items. I believe jewelry has a strong aura. By the way, I just saw an unusual woman's ring... Bring it here.
Look! There's a mechanism hidden behind the glass. I guess there's more to the airship's passengers than meets the eye... I'll take the ring to Martha. She will read its aura and give us the name.

An Unfortunate Mistake
Mayor
Gentleman! I feel that my intervention is required here. You came upon a prison in which a great evil is held. By taking the skull artifacts, you've broken the magic that binds it and gave freedom to the force that awakens the most evil of human qualities. You must fix all of this at once. Search for the Bronze Skull it if hasn't disappeared yet.
It's extremely fortunate that the Bronze Skull was found. Unfortunately, we won't be able to avoid these events being made public. Therefore, I need to tell you the true story of this place.

An Appetite Comes When Eating
Cardsharp
Sir! I'm in no way belittling your seeking talents, but I just want to make sure there's not some other kind of skull lying around? For instance, a platinum or crystal one? Could you look for me?
My dear friend! My gratitude for this Crystal Skull knows no bounds. Family heirlooms are finally being returned to their rightful owner!
-
Our Memories
Valerie
You need the personal belongings of the airship passengers to get a name for the mergency cabin opening procedure? I think we should focus on ladies' items, since we already have a woman's watch. By the way, I remember seeing a Miniature Photo Album nearby! But I lost sight of it. Will you find it?
That's the photo album! There are portraits of a man and a woman inside. could these be the parents of the album's owner? I'll take it to Martha. She'll read its aura and learn the name of its owner.
-
Personal Jewelry
Professor
The door to the airship's cabin is stuck. I've examined the mechanism and we can't pick the lock. But there's a way to open the door in case of an emergency: by entering the name of a crew member on the control panel. Luckily, Martha can easily get a person's name from their personal belongings. It seems some items fell out of the airship during the landing. Surely on of the passengers had a watch. Will you look for it?
This watch has an unusual design, but it definitely belongs to a woman. There is a half-faded inscription on the back... Martha can use the watch to find out her name. I'll take it to her.

Signs of Trouble
Juliette
How horrible, mon ami! This airship scared the whole City... And just imagine what it must've been like for the passengers! Let's head to the Airship Dock, we need to help them.

Eye-Catching Ad
Juliette
I've been to Paris and there are lots of clairvoyant salons in Montmartre. They used to write about the best mediums in the papers, and there were even posters and notices about them everywhere. I think Martha also had a salon, and its poster probably occupied a worthy spot on a New Orleans bulletin board. I'm sure that this poster is the first step to getting the third key. Find it, mon ami.
Mon dieu, you did it! Oh, what a colorful, eye-catching, professional-looking poster Martha had! "Martha Myth, fortune teller. Spiritism, searching for lost people, hypnosis, tarot readings and mirror divination." And she was really expensive... Martha must have had more clients than she could handle!
-
First Experiments
Valerie
Now we just have to find the last item that Martha kept from her school years. The profile syas that she was into hypnotism. Try to find something from that field. What could it be? Perhaps a ball on a string?
Wow! What is that? Martha left a note here: "My first invention is the Hypnotic Beacon. It can be used to perform self-hypnosis. All you have to do is concentrate, prepare yourself mentally, look into the eye-shaped opening and voila!" This is way better than a spinning ball on a string.

Small Service
Cardsharp
Oh dear! I'm glad I met you. I really need your help. I lost something and I can't find it anywhere. Don't say no to poor Cardsharp. Please find the Golden Skull. It's a family heirloom, and it's very precious to me.
I'm go grateful to you. This Golden Skull was passed down to me from my dear... Well, it doesn't matter. Losing it would be a huge blow to my family honour.

The Finer Points of Spiritism
Detective
This isn't the time to get down in the dumps. I'm certain that Martha was not expelled from the school. We need to get her back as soon as possible. In order to do that we need to force the key to her adolescence to materialise using items from her school years. The profile says that Martha was into spiritism. I think we should find something connected to summoning spirits.
What a fascinating figurine! The person who made it clearly knows a thing or two about spiritism - they depict the separation of the soul from the body so elegantly! There's an inscription on the bottom: "New Orleans, 1915". That's when Martha was a student at the school.

Railroad Logo
Cardsharp
My dear, are you trying to learn something about the train or are you engaged in the enrichment of citizens in the City? I wouldn't give up the gold purse, but maybe I should look for something more informative? For example, the Train Logo.
You've found the Train Logo. It says "Sanetti" on it. Apparently this is the name of the train. Once upon a time, this name was known on both sides of the Atlantic. It's a well-known transportation company based in the New World, that came from Italy. Were there any more expensive trinkets near the logo?
-
Handbag
Juliette
Mon ami, I also want to join the exploration of the Station. I saw something shiny and probably very valuable on the pratform. Come, I'll show you the place, and you'll help me get a brilliant little thing from under the boxes.
Holy Jilie, the handbag you have found is worth a fortune! Just take a look; it's all gilded and decorated with precious stones. Its chain even seems to be made of platinum!
-
Fine Delicacies
Valerie
Hooray, our Station has become much more attracitve! there are so many interesting little things here! There's a menu for the restaurant carriage under this huge bag. Help me get the menu, and we'll find out what the missing passengers were fed.
Wow, what a menu they have! I thought they would have sandwiches, tea, coffee, and so on; but there's lobsters, caviar, truffles, and even nightingales' tongues! I've never heard some of these names! The food on the train was royal.
-
A Surprising Hand
Juliette
Mon ami, to get the Key to Adolescence that will help us bring Martha's soul back, we need to find something connected to her time as a student at the School for Young Witches. Our Martha is an expert at reading tarot cards, and she learned this skill at school. Let's try to find her old cards.
Oh, you found some Lenormand cards! They're so old, and burnt to boot... that's what happens when Martha has a spontaneous magical discharge. I sawa something like this happen once before. She threw that deck away, but she kept this one as a memento. This must be her first deck of tarot cards. Look, the top card is the Sun! I hope that means we can save Martha!
-
Friendly Embrace
Valerie
I know what we need to look for from Martha's time at the School for Young Witchers! She probably had friends there. I had so many friend in college! Martha probably kept something related to her friends - maybe a yearbook or photos, or... well, you get it, right? Anyway, find it, and we'll get closer to saving her.
What is that? A snake? It looks expensive. But why is it shaped like a snake? Hey, this is a copy of that python Martha never parts with. We were looking for her friends... could this python really be a school chum of hers? I dont't get it at all.
-
Crocodile Skin
Detective
There's a pile of luggage on the Station platform. We need to examine it to find out about the passengers of the mysterious train. I've noticed that some of the boxes and bags are slightly opened, we can search them first. Can you get me that luxury box?
You've brought a smart box with the most expensive men's crocodile skin shoes inside! Only the rich can afford such shoes!
-
School Symbol
Detective
We need to help Isabelle materialise the key to our medium7s adolescence. One of the ghosts Martha summoned was her teacher from the School for Young Witches. That's obviously where Martha spent her teenage years. That means we need to learn as much about this school as we can and collect items that belonged to Martha when she went there. Every school starts with an insignia. Try to find the insignia of Martha's magic school.
Okay, show it to me. This could be the school's insignia - doves drinking water out of a goblet. Maybe it represents the students drinking deep of the waters of knowledge... or something. At least no one is chewing the granite of science on it... by the way, have you noticed the text around the edge? It says "New Orleans School for Young Witches."
-
Warm Light
Conductor
The Station was enveloped with a dense fog, in which a mysterious train and a multitude of things materialised. However, I'm embarrassed by the lack of people. We haven't noticed anyone, but the luggage seems to be intact. We need to find out what kind of train it is and where all the passengers are. Let's look for clues on the platform.
Oh, dear! We found a beautiful lamp, but no people. The lampshade is even made of silk. These lamps adorn carriages in luxury trains. The lamp was still lit, but what's happened to the person who turned it on?

Wily Trinket
Valerie
I checked the records in City Hall and found this: the bracelet has a spell on it, protecting it from thieves. But I'm no thief! I just came in to admire the Manor and tried on a something cute. According to a legend, five magical items from the Enchanted Ball can weaken the spell and a glance from Gorgon can turn it on stone. After this, you can break it. Please, help me get rid of this evil spell! The legend mentioned that you need to use a snake brooch first. By the way, did you know that Gorgon used to be pretty and this brooch was her favorite piece of jewellery. Can you find it?
Wow! The snake from the brooch twirled down my arm and became thinner. But I feel no pain at all! I wonder if we could use it to make, say, a waist thinner?
-
Porcelain Hugs
Juliette
Martha never said much about her sister, but I think she loved her very much. She probably kept some kind of souvenir as a symbol of their closeness. Mon ami, search the Room of Fate for something connected to Martha's sister. This will be the last item from Martha's childhood that we need in order to save her. Hurry! The medium's pulse is growing weaker by the hour.
What adorable cups! Look, mon ami, it's like they're hugging! Martha and her sister must have used their gift to meld the cpus together. Thank you! Now we have all the items we need from Martha's childhood to summon the first key that will help us get our medium back.
-
A Mental Blow
Isabelle
Items connected to Martha's childhood will help us get her back. I think I know what to look for next. The presence of powerful mediums usually means that any nearby electronic devices frequently overheat and break. Could you find a damaged electrical coil or something?
Good job! I never could've done it without you! Just look at this isolator! It looks like it's been hit by lightning. Obviously someone - either Martha or her sister Erin - was unable to cope with the intensity of her mental field. This is just what I had in mind.
-
Almost there
Detective
All that's left is poisonous Brassocattleya Torntona flower. There's no time to talk, the night is coming. Please hurry and find the last orchid.
Great! You're a real professional! With your credentials you could be a senior detective in New York.

Astral Electricity
Chardsharp
My dear friend, the newspaper article found in the Room of Fate describes a weathervane that was on the roof of Martha's house. That's just what we need - an item from her childhood. I think I've seen it somewhere in the Room of Fate. I remember wondering why Martha would need a weathervane? Well, apparently it was a memento. Find it.
Wonderful! This weathervane must have looked so beautiful when Martha's gift made it glow with St.Elmo's Fire... did you know that the flames appear on the sharp points of tall items thanks to an electrical charge in the air around them? Now we have one more item from Martha's childhood.
-
Fortune Flower
Detective
Midnight is close and we have yet to find two more orchids. This time it's a fortune flower, the mysterious Cattlea Gascella. I'm sure you can find it despite its strange name.
I told you so! You're damn lucky. I hope we'll be lucky in everything else and gather all the flowers before morning.
-
One More Orchid
Detective
Juliette told me about this orchid - Phalaenopsis Stuartiana. Her Mistress uses its pollen as a face powder. Find it, hurry.
It truly is a beautiful orchid. You're a great partner.

Privilege eof a Little Medium
Valerie
We need to summon the keys from Martha's past and get her back right away! What other items from Martha's childhood could be in the Room of Fate? Do you remember the doctor's ghost Martha summoned? He threatened to put leeches on me. If he treated Martha when she was little, she might still have a few bottles of medicine, right? Look for some kind of bottle of medicine.
A bottle of cod liver oil! But why is the top fused shut? Hmm... Martha probably didn't want to drink this disgusting oil and used her gift to fuse the top shut. I guess being a medium has its perks - I actually had to drink this nasty stuff!
