Hidden City Walkthrough

Quest

These are the story/quests featured in Hidden City. There is a vast number of stories, and please note that the order and categories are unorganized, so it might be a bit difficult to navigate. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Fan Club

    Kira Woodville

How did these Cabaret regulars manage to get the same burn on their faces? I noticed that each of them wears similar silver bracelets on their wrists. Another thing in common? Let's try to get one and inspect it!

You managed to quietly take a bracelet. Great job! Sophia's initials are engraved on its silver clasp. These Cabaret frequenters seem to be her fans.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Steel Armor

    Mr. Black

I'm concerned about the problem of defending ourselves against a monster with sharp feathers and pincers, and even more worried about how we'll attack it. How do you destroy a monster with strong scales? I've recently picked up such scales take a look.

A monster with metal scales, how do you like that? It seems that it's bulletproof, which makes things even more complicated. It's been bad enough with the fog, but now we've got this monster too!

    Post Office

  • Deadly Pincer

    Mr. Black

A huge monster with knife feathers - as if these wasn't enough trouble already! I came across another element of its arsenal - a humongous pincer. I hid it in a drawer so it wouldn't scare anyone. Take it out.

The pincer looks particularly intimidating. With such a weapon, this aggressive monster could go killing left and right! I don't even know how we'll defend ourselves from it...

    Post Office

  • Healing Remedy

    Mr. Black

These scoundrels claim that there's no connection between them, but I see right through their lies. We'll discover in which brawl they got hurt. I've been informed that each of them purchased some sea buckthorn oil in the pharmacy. Does it promote wound healing? Let's get the oil and study it!

You brought some sea buckthorn oil. The instructions say that it contributes to the healing of burns. So it turns out that all these men in the Cabaret have burns on their faces!

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Waymark in the Fog

    Carlos Light

Thank you for reminding me why I took you on duty with me. So, Sophia needs inspiration from the City's iconic relics to write a song. Let's find the firefly bait that I installed.

It's good that you noticed the glare and found the firefly bait! This device is a waymark used in pitch darkness to help you move forward.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Blade Feathers

    Mr. Black

I couldn't make out how exactly the monster was moving, but it might have wings. I picked up some strange feathers not far from where I saw the silhouette. They should be around here, find them.

You can check for yourself but the monster's feathers look like blades. I'm not sure if they're meant for flying, but they'd certainly make a terrible weapon.

    Post Office

  • Strong Foot

    Mr. Black

During my evening rounds on the fog's edge, I started noticing a suspicious silhouette, clearly not human. Anytime I went to get closer, it dissolved into the fog. But I've found some material evidence. Take a look at this footpring, for example.

This footprint was left by a huge creature - it's foot has been imprinted in stone! I'm no coward, but I wouldn't want to fight such a monster...

    Post Office

  • Curfew

    Mr. Black

Curfew is an important part of the Law of Black. It was introduced to protect the citizens, although many think otherwise. The signal of its coming was frightening, as we used a hand-cranked siren to announce it. It's here somewhere, look, for it.

That is some sound! We don't use such sirens anymore. Instead, a more melodic curfew reminder has been set up in all the watches in the City, and I'm proud of it.

    Post Office

  • To New Aartments

    Mr. Black

The Collector disappeared, and with him his life-saving inventions. So I began to apply my law: I conducted an operation to collect the crystals that were still intact and offered to help move citizens to safer areas. Find a wheelbarrow.

The citizens were provided with such a strong wheelbarrow for their belongings as well as a first-aid kit. But they didn't want to withdraw from their homes. Grumblers appeared.

    Post Office

  • Valuable Resource

    Mr. Black

I came up with the Law of Black when I saw the citizens carrying the Collector's anti-fog crystals to their homes and ruining them by inserting them into unsuitable appliances. Like that kerosene lamp over there - pass it, I'll show you.

If you place an anti-fog crystal in this kerosene lamp, it'll quickly fail. The use of such a valuable resource had to be controlled!

    Post Office

  • Save Our Souls!

    Mr. Black

The citizens rushed to seek protection. Requests for help sometimes still come via pneumatic mail, but back then, all the civil services were simply swamped with them. You can see for yourself - there's a box full of such letters.

"Save us, the fog's getting into our house!" - I've read handreds, thousands of such messages! Someone had to take care of the citizens. I took this burden upon myself.

    Post Office

  • Rule of the Fog

    Mr. Black

When something commonly referred to as the Distortion happened in the City, and the fog began swallowing houses and streets, there was naturally a panic amongst the citizens. They tried to protect themselves from the fog by improvised means. You can still find various devices around here. That respirator mask, for instance. Bring it.

Don't repeat someone else's mistakes: such a respirator mask doesn't protect against the fog. This was proven at a great cost - people in the respirators never returned.

    Post Office

  • Dwaring Hunt

    Mr. Black

The attackers have prepared well and gathered lots of information. I recently carried over all the Collector's drawings that we had over to the repository. Someone reported this to the Resistance... Check the stand with the drawings.

We scared them off, almost all the drawings are still in place... except for one. I see the lamp glass and crystal installation diagram, it wasn't taken. Strange...

    Post Office

    Post Office

  • Security Service Relic

    Carlos Light

Wow, we've found the air force figurine! The Security Service once wanted to create a flight unit, but only this symbol remains from that idea.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Gas Attack

    Kira Woodville

Mr. Black, we'd better not go forward, there's choking gas ahead! The attackers threw a gas grenade to neutralize the guards. There's another one over there, unexploded. Let's see its design.

    Post Office

  • Words on the Wall

    Mr. Black

To storm the Security Service's temporary headquarters at the Post Office, the criminals must have a very significanst motive. We need to discover it! For starters, let's determine what kind of gang it is. Help me find their tracks, you're a pro at this.

It's not exactly what I was counting on, but this graffiti was definitely left by the attackers - impudent fools who want me to get out. We've been visited by the Resistance!

    Post Office

  • Bird Invasion

    Mr. Black

There you are! The fog got completely out of hand and I need your help. Overnight, a bird nest materialized under my office's ceiling, can you imagine that? Life-sized, with birds and eggs. Help me take it off.

Hmm, if I didn't know what the fog is capable of, I'd think that this is a real nest. All right, you can move it to a tree. Let's observe what happens.

    Post Office

  • Water World

    Rayden Storke

Don't tell Kira, but I dreamed about this fountain. In my dream, I wanted a drink, and then water came out of it. I poured it into an aquarium, and a fish appeared, just like in grandma's time. See if there's a fish in reality.

Grandma loved this aquarium betta fish. come to think of it, she loved a different one, because fish don't live this long and the aquarium has been empty for years. I don't understand...

    Post Office

  • Revivified Spring

    Kira Woodville

We have a small incident here. Fortunately, it's a pleasant one: a drinking fountain started working at night, by itself. They say that it's because there's water in the spring again, and it's delicious. Do you hear the murmur? Follow it and you'll find the fountain.

The fountain hasn't worked for many years. It's unclear why the water's flowing again. Perhaps there's some kind or rock displacement going on... We need to check.

    Post Office

  • Flowers from the Dream

    Rayden Storke

In my dream, I watered my grandma's favorite violet. It perished long ago, of course, but I saw the flowering violet as if in reality. Like the one over there... Hold on, I need to take a closer look. Bring it.

This is definitely grandma's violet, the way it once was. I wanted to ask what dreams of flowers represent, but now I want to know how they're embodied from dreams.

    Post Office

  • Unbreakable Bond

    Mr. Black

I'll punish the lamplighter that took you out on duty. It's better for Sophia to look for the City's relics during the day in order to get inspired for a new song. All right, you can look at the pigeon bird bath, you're near it anyway, but afterwards you must return home immediately!

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Spark of Hope

    Sophia

Dearie, I want to draw inspiration from the relics that hold the City's glorious past so I can write a song and cheer up the citizens with the music. This memorial lamp probably symbolizes something, let's examine it!

The memorial lamp we found is a symbol of the struggle agains the fog. It was installed by the Collector so that the light of hope would never die in the people's hearts.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Perfect Composition

    Sophia

Ah, I had to put a ton of makeup on to hide my lack of sleep. We need the maestro's concert attributes to be waiting near the grand piano for when he appears to play for us. Help me polish his concert shoes!

The concert shoes shine like new! The maestro used to say that dirty shoes, just like an awkwardly played note, could spoil a whole composition.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Embodied Wish

    Rayden Storke

I don't know at what point I fell asleep. I remember holding the silhouette portrait of my grandmother. That was already part of the dream, because, in reality, there's no such portrait, but I always wanted to have one as a memento. It was in a frame or rubies - grandma loved these gemstones. In my dream, I put the portrait over there. There's something lying on the sport, could you pass it to me?

That's the portrait that I dreamed about! But how could this happen? Perhaps, it's the fog... They say it embodies memories. Maybe dreams as well?

    Post Office

  • Vivifying Air

    Mr. Black

Normally, it's easy to send a capsule, but now the pneumatic tube that leads to the Security Service is blocked by the fog. It's fine though - our guys had air tanks to protect them from inhaling the fog. We have some around here, bring one.

It's believed that if you breathe the air from a tank, you can protect you memory from the fog. Let's clean out the pneumatic pipes with air, just in case.

    Post Office

  • Former Glory

    Sophia

The ghostly maestro's concert attributes will sit and wait for him so that he can return and play, just like the days of his former glory. Set his carved music stand on the grand piano!

Dearie, thanks for installing this carved music stand on the grand piano! In the dream about the sad maestro, I saw exactly the same one.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Superstitious Gallantry

    Rayden Storke

The maestro's ghost it too well-mannered to go on stage without an invitation. But if he sees his concert items, he'll understand that we're waiting for his appearance. I'll put his lucky bow tie on the grand piano. Here it is, look!

The lucky bow tie you hold in your hands was an indispensable element of the maestro's concert costume. Besides, he lookded very elegant in it.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • The Finest Creations

    Sophia

Dearie, in my dream, the maestro was clearly missing his performances. I'll lay out his concert attributes near the grand piano so that he can come back and play like he used to. But I just can't find his sheet music compilation. Help me find it!

I turned the whole place upside down looking for the sheet music compilation, and you just found it! It stores some of the best musical compositions of the maestro.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Spectacular Entrance

    Sophia

Dearie, in my dream the maestro's ghost was sad. I think he misses the stage and regrets that his time has passed. I want to put the maestro's concert items near the grand piano - what if he comes to play, oike in the old days? In my dream, he was sitting on a luxurious piano bench. Let's find it!

Dearie, you found the piano bench! The maestro would go on stage, adjust the bottom of his tailcoat with a flourish, sit on the piano bench and immerse himself in improvisation.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • The First Flights

    Rayden Storke

My childhood treasures are returning to the family box. Carousel tickets were another memorable thing - I've always loved the feeling of flying, and my grandma would often take me on rides. Find the old tickets.

Well done, these are my precious childhood tickets! I don't know what I'd do without you! My box is full once again, and I feel like a really rich man.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Letter of the Law

    Mr. Black

Whatever the grumblers say, we returned order to the streets of the City. Bring the code of laws established by the Security Service. We also use it to decipher the messages that our people send through the fog.

The code of laws is also used as a key book. Every member of the Security Service has one. The message from my colleagues will be encrypted.

    Post Office

  • Twisting and Twirling

    Rayden Storke

Grandma knew a million stories and taught me some interesting things: how to whistle loudly and do yo-yo tricks. This old toy was in the box; look around, maybe it's lying somewhere nearby.

Carlos says that yo-yos work on the principle of Maxwell's pendulum and gyroscope. I wonder what grandma would have said about it.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Taste of Childhood

    Rayden Storke

Grandma used to make wonderful herbal teas and pastilles. To remember her, I've kept a tin of these candies in my box. I hope they haven't crumbled. Let's look for these sweet pastilles.

Phew, the tin of sweet pastilles is still intact. I'll put it back into my family box. I wish I knew why someone rummaged through my things.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Unique Signal

    Mr. Black

My colleagues are quite resourceful - I'm sure they will send us the information before long. When we imposed a curfew in the City for security reasons, we invented a unique signal device. Find it.

We equipped all the clocks in the City with such a signal element so that none of the citizens would forget about the curfew.

    Post Office

  • Sixth Sense

    Mr. Black

The former Defenders joined the ranks of our Security Service. These people can't just go missing in the fog. The personnel were selected by special criteria. Look for a sign confirming this.

The sign of intuition you're holding confirms my point. The Security Service peronnel have special qualities, including heightened intuition.

    Post Office

  • Monster Slayers

    Mr. Black

Why do you think I believe that the Security Service staff survived the fog? Because I know what kind of people are in our ranks! The Security Service succeeded the Order of the Defenders, whose members defeated the monsters that came out of the fog. Take a look at their emblem, it speaks volumes.

Yes, this is it - the proud emblem of the Order of the Defenders. The brave guys from the Order dealt with the monsters. Then the Order fell aprt, but the Security Service was formed instead.

    Post Office

  • Box with a Secret

    Rayden Storke

Let's research the legend of the mailman to the end. There was an archive in the Post Office, where my grandmother worked. Now the post office is in chaos, but try to find the archive box with the same numbe as on the plate from the monument.

If you managed to retrieve a box from this pile of junk, the City definitely helped you! The number matches, but the box is rather light! It's alright, valuables don't have to be heavy.

    Post Office

  • Air Fleet

    Mr. Black

The mailman passed across the Rift, and they erected a monument to him? Nonsense! Why climb across the gorge with valuable items when airships were crusing around the City at that time? They even depicted them on postage stamps. Find one.

You see, mail and goods used to be delivered on airships. Your investigation has reached a dead end, and you haven't found anything of value, admit it.

    Post Office

  • Conquering the Rift

    Rayden Storke

Grandma said that the legendary mailman delivered an important letter from the Lower City to the Upper City by passing across the Rift. Maybe he delivered the valuable goods? He obviously needed climbing equipment. Did you find any?

This rope with carabiner clips is very old but still strong. I thought the legend about the mailman was just a fairy tale, but now it seems that it could lead us to the valuable goods after all.

    Post Office

  • Salvo from the Past

    Rayden Storke

Family boxes usually contain jewelry, but I kept my childhood treasures in mine. For example, a small cannon - almost like a real one, though it's really just a souvenir pencil sharpener. Find it.

In the battles that I arranged for my soldiers, this cannon played a decisive role. Grandma used to say that tactics are more important than firepower though.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Box with a Light

    Rayden Storke

The contents of this box remind me of a happy childhood, when trees were big, days were sunny, and even matches were colorful. Don't laugh, my grandmother brought me such matches from somewhere. They could even light a fire in the rain, but mostly I liked them for their colors. Find this bright box of matches.

When I grew up, I found out that such matches are called stormproof, and that their bright part is a special combustible mixture. But for me they're just a part of my childhood.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Letter with no Address

    Mr. Black

I admit, you found a new clue in the search for the valuable cargo. But the monument of the mailman has not yet led us to our goal. What a pity it cannot be interrogated. Where did he carry this letter that once contained the plate? Find the answer.

This book Holder is made in memory of the earthquake. The City was divided into lower and upper parts, with the Rift - a deep gorge - between them. What does the mailman have to do with this?

    Post Office

  • Shiny Threads

    Sophia

Dearie, I remembered! There was another element - I think it was definitely designed for those mysterious anti-fog suits. Among themselves, the scavengers called them crystal threads. Come on, help me find them!

You found the very threads I was talking about. Look closer, they really are made of shiny fibers that shimmer like crystals.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Crystal Holders

    Sophia

Dearie, the scavengers paid me well to show the suits' elements to Fabien. I didn't expect it to be about some kind of anti-fog gear. By the way, the scavengers gave me some settings with multi-colored stones for them. Help me find them!

Thank you for helping me find the settings. Do you think that instead of these fake gemstones the scavengers planned to fix the stolen crystals in them?

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Piece of Equipment

    Rayden Storke

Have you ever seen scavengers? They look strange: some of their homemade appliances and gadgets hang all over their clothing. But the element of the costume that they tried to pass to Fabien through Sophia differs significantly. I'll show you!

Notice that this suit element has almost no seams. It's sealed hermetically and will easily protect you from the fog getting under your clothes.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Crude Work

    Sophia

Dearie, the scavengers asked me to help them interest Fabien so that he would sew a suit for them - decide for yourself whether it's for the anti-fog suits or not. Help me find a pattern made of newspaper if it'll help you understand anything!

Oh, how could this ridiculous newspaper pattern interest Fabien?! Where could you possibly go in the clothes tailored from it! Perhaps only into the fog!

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Handover from Scavengers

    Mr. Black

If it turns out that the elements are related to the anti-fog suits, we'll have reason to drop in on Fabien Delamode. What if the scavengers somehow managed to persuade the countuirier to collaborate? Let's take a closer look at the suits' elements! First of all, we'll examine the box of fabric.

The fabric in this box is very dense and durable. I wouldn't make a parade dress or uniform with such material, but it's ideal for equipment.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Deepest Secret

    Mr. Black

Learning Avocado's secret from Sophia is much more difficult than I thought. Maybe her album of love songs will make Sophia tell us what we need? Let's try to find one more record!

Thank you four finding this album of love songs for our interrogation! This time, Sophia told me something very intimate, but, again, there was nothing of value.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Dizzying Fame

    Rayden Storke

What if Black's idea works and Sophia's songs will make her tell us about Avocado's secret? Have you listened to her legendary jazz copilation? No? Then we have to find this record!

Black has played Sophia's jazz compilation, and she admitted that she left the local jazz band, not wanting to share her fame with anyone. There's nothing about the crystals yet.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Confession of Solitude

    Mr. Black

Sophia doesnt suspect that she's putting herself in even greater danger by keeping silent about Avocado's secret. The singer's fans should have her rare records. Let's get a copy.

We have Sophia's rare records, excellent. When these songs were playing, Haze admitted that, despite her popularity, she's very lonely. Not what we need, again.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • First Performances

    Rayden Storke

Black certainly won't stop until he finds out what secret Sophia has learned from Avocado. I'm looking for a record of Sophia's Christmas carols. Come on, together we'll find it faster!

Together, we instantly found this record of her Christmas carols! It didn't make Sophia admit the right thing, but she let slip that, as a child, she used to sing in the church choir.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Revelation about the Father

    Mr. Black

If Sophia's "wonderful" gift isn't fiction, which I sincerely doubt, it'll help us. It's simple: during the interrogation, we play the songs that Sophia recorded in the City back to her, and the so-called gift will reveal the secret about Avocado and the crystals from the singer's subconscious. Help me fid the Childhood album!

On the album's cover it reads that it's dedicated to the singr's father. Listening to her own songs, Sophia admitted that her father was against her dream of becoming a singer. That wasn't what I wanted to hear.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Old Mailman

    Rayden Storke

Are you lookin for an old mailman who knows about the valuable goods? What about the monument in the Post Office's building? Grandmother told me that there's a bronze figure of a mailman who once did a lot for the City. The monument is surely old, and of a mailman. Look at him, maybe you'll find a clue.

The plate wasn't far from the monument of the mailman... Judging by the holes, it used to be attached to the envelope in his hand. But it doesn't resemble an address.

    Post Office

  • Medicine for Machines

    Kira Woodville

I finally got to the bottom of the inventor's suitcase and came across a broken container. There's a label saying, "Technomagic Vaccine". Help me find a whole container, I want to look at its contents.

What kind of medicine is this "Technomagic Vaccine"? What do you think? Maybe it's for the treatment of soulless machines? I'll write down my guess in the inventor's personal file.

    Post Office

  • Precious Talent

    Rayden Storke

We're almost there: we only need to find a key that fits into those five small holes on the cache door. Let's use Sophia's treble clef comb, it has five prongs. Help me find it.

We found the golden treble clef comb. It seems to fit, thank you for your find! What secrets is Sophia hiding behind so many locks?

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Invitation to the ball

    Detective

If the Mayor still hears the voice inviting him to the ball, maybe we should forget about the eternal pain and join him? What was it he said? Every night as precisely midnight, a portal opens and the voice of the Mistress calls everyone who was invited to the centennial celebration! What if Mike Stone used one of the invitations and ended up at the ball?! What if the key to the mystery of Mike Stone lies in the past? Damn this city and its secrets! We just have to get to the ball! But where can we get an invitation?

There are so many of them! So... one of them is the Mayor's. But it's in bad shape, so let's leave that one. Then there's... Dr. Frankenstein. I didn't know he was already in the City by then. And then there's the Master... For some reason neither of them attended the Centennial Ball. We should think about why when we get a moment.

    City Hall

  • The Mayor's Spirit to the Rescue

    Detective

City Hall is a place where you can always find an anser, if you ask the right question. Juliette mentioned the Centennial Ball. It was the largest event in the city, attended by the city's most famous citizens! That being the case, there's no way our Mayor missed the occasion. All we have to do now is find something that belonged to the Mayor and use it to summon him!

    Great!

    City Hall

  • Magic Against Magic

    Detective

I still don7t understand how Mike Stone got inside. Yeah, the City unlocked the Enchanted Ball for you, along with every other door, but the Manor is closed to the other citizens! A mosquito couldn't get inside without the Mistress's permission not without dying from some terrible curse. If the Manor is protected by magic, then maybe there's some other kind of stronger magic... Well, we have a puzzle on our hands. If we're dealing with different kinds of magic, we're going to need Martha's help.

Great Evil is sealed in the Manor! It has slept for a hundred years! I won't let you wake it! Go away!

    Room of Fate

  • The show must see light

    Detective

Hmm.. From outside the Manor, I was sure the hall was brightly lit up, but the darkness here is impenetrable! I don't want to walk around in the dark and find myself on the end of Mike Stone's knife! We need light, and lots of it. But it's so dark here that an ordinary flashlight won't do. We need special candles!

This place gives me the creeps... although the hall is beautiful! The Mistress has a great imagination. The frozen figures look just like perfect copies of real people. Something tells me no one's been here for a long time; the whole place is covered in dust and there's no sign of Mike Stone! But I have a feeling he must be somewhere inside. This matter isn't as simple as it seemed...

    Hall of Weddings

  • Evidence Extracted

    Detective

And so our investigation brings us to City Hall. It's so dark here! I can't see anything at all. It's as if someone is deliberately obstructing our investigation and trying to keep us from following the trail! How are we supposed to find anything in this darkness?!

A page with a note about the arrival in the city of a certain M.S... Who would need to tear this out of the Conductor's diary?

    City Hall

  • Engraved Ring

    Mr. Black

I'm sure the singer's hiding a lot! Doesn't it seem strange to you that she has a cache, let alone one with such a tricky lock? I saw that she had an unusual drum ring, it should fit into the next section of the lock.

We have the drum ring. Look, there's an engraving on its inner side: "For my mysterious." It seems that Sophia uses it to turn the lock's relay. Look at that, it worked!

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Tool-Shaped Keyhole

    Rayden Storke

I think Sophia knows Avocado's motive for his threats, as well a thing or two about the crystals. Perhaps we'll find this information in her cache. The next keyhole is carved in the shape of a violin or cello. Let7s look for something like that!

Did you hear that click? The cello pendant you found dealt with the next lock. We're almost there.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Jewelry Lock Pick

    Mr. Black

In the cache's tricky lock there are holes in the form of notes, the same as on Sophia's ruby bracelet. Let's find it, open the cache and discover what gift she values so much!

Well, that was quick, you have the bracelet! The notes on it will help us open the second part of the lock. We're one step closer to unraveling Sophia's secret.

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • Unusual Key

    Mr. Black

How can we talk about some gift when the safety of the City is at stake?! It seems that we'll have to look into Sophia's cache. Don't ask how I know about it! She keeps her most precious things in there - I'm sure there's something inside that's connected with her precious gift. To open it, we'll need a few keys. Let's find them!

You found a sapphire pin? You think it'll open the lock? Hmm, you're right, this adornment is perfect for one of the cache's keyholes. It turns out it's also a key!

    Shooting Star Cabaret

  • The Last Card

    Mr. Black

Sophia's fans spoiled her. She didn't even bother to open some gifts. The singer might not have noticed a potential threat. See, there's a card sticking out of this caged bouquet? Let's get it out!

My hand can't get through the bars of the cage containing flowers to get the giver's card. We'll have to break the lock or cut it off!

  • Hilarious Souvenir

    Rayden Storke

Sophia's unapproachability drives some of her fans crazy. She told me that she was once scared by a clown that jumped out of a gift box at her. Let's look for the enclosed note where Sophia dropped the souvenir!

You found the jack-in-the-box. It seems that there's a note inside, let's open the box! This toy's giggle is no creepy! The note is unreadable, too.

  • In Your Element

    Mr. Black

Sophia received many ambiguous gifts from the Cabaret's visitors. Recently, she was presented with a small fish in a bowl - that's clearly a hint that she needs to stay silent like a fish, right? Let's read the note!

I think the fish is uncomfortable in this bowl, it's way too small. The note says: "I wish you to take to the stage as a fish takes to water!" Hmm, so it's an innocent gift after all.

  • Rude Message

    Sophia

My fans give me gifts addressing me personally in their cards, hoping that I'll read them and answer. But some leave messages on the gifts themselves - just like on that suitcase. I don't remember what's wirtten there, let's see!

"Get out of the city." Humph, how rude! It's written all over the suitcase. But the giver's handwriting doesn't resemble that of the author of the terrible note found in the fog.

  • Spines for the Idol

    Mr. Black

Sophia is sure that she can identify the author of the threat by his handwriting - he7s already sent her gifts with greeting cards. Pfft, stars are used to accepting gifts from fans while remaining indifferent to them. Amongst the bouquets sent to Sophia, I noticed a poisonous cactus. Let's go and read the card that came with it!

Be careful, don't get pricked by the cactus's spines! Sophia said that the gift and the enclosed card weren'T a hidden threat. She knows the giver personally and assures us that he's just a sweet crank.

  • On the Right Track

    Rayden Storke

I've known Mr. Black for a long time, he's only every believed in facts. I once was in Sophia's dressing room and noticed that the whole place was literally covered with powder. Let's go take a look: I'm sure the uninvited guest left some traces there.

Look, the small woman's footprints on the carpet belong to Sophia, and these man's boot marks were clearly left by the uninvited guest.

  • Pearls of the Investigation

    Sophia

Ah, Blackie is just unbrearable, he still considers me a liar! I would've told him everything, but, alas, my head is foggy, and my neck hurts. Oh no, my necklace is gone! Please find it!

You found my necklace; it's a shame it's broken and missing some beads... You don't think that I deliberately tore such an expensive piece of jewelry, do you?

  • Spoiled Accessory

    Rayden Storke

Mr. Black demands stronger evidence of the attack on Sophia. I'm a regular at the Cabaret and I know that she usually wears a feather headband with this dress, but not today. Let's find this accessory!

You don't miss a single clue - you found the headband! Look, some feathers have been torn out, and the jewelry's bent. I'm sure it happened during the attack.

  • Sense of Anxiety

    Sophia

Dearie, help me prove my innocence to Black. When I heard a noise, I got scared and barricaded the door with a chair. But it didn't help! The door was knocked down, and the overturned chair is still lying in the middle of the hall. Take a look!

You've made sure now? This overturned chair's been lying here all night. I look at it and a feeling of anxiety arises within me. Ah, I still fear for my life!

  • Nighttime Housebreak

    Rayden Storke

I believe Sophia. Something really happened in the Cabaret - I noticed signs of a struggle. Let's try to restore the series of events and discover whether the singer or the suspects in the crystals' case are connected to this. It's known that at night the Cabaret is locked from the inside. I noticed a torn-off doorknob in the hall, let's find and study it!

You found the torn-off doorknob, and this evidence confirms that there's been a forced entry into the Cabaret.

It seems that the concert's been canceled, this favors us. While Mr. Black's talking his way into meeting Sophia, let's go over there and take a table by the stage. Black ordered us not to do anything without his instructions.

Everyone dispersed, leaving their drinks unfinished, and someone even forgot their hat. Bright lights illuminate the stage, but, apparently, Sophia won't walk up to the microphone today. What happened here?

Who is hidden behind the mysterious initials M.S.? I'm sure the Conductor will know. He knows everyone in this damned City, but he won't be easy to find in the fog covering the Station of Forgotten Dreams! Can you make anything out through this haze?

Yes! The flashlight is in great condition. It will work even against the thick fog that shrouds the Station.

If only we had the Emperor's Talisman! It's the eve of the Chinese New Year, so we could make a wish and find out what happened at the Palace. There are drawings of animals on the Emperor's scroll. Maybe they're connected to the Talisman? We should look for broken pieces with the same images in the hall. Did you come across something with, say, the image of a White Tiger?

Is this a Bolometer? Are you sure? I wouldn't have thought so. Just imagine: this thing can pick up energy rays from space... I don't know exactly how it works though.

By killing Dracula, we kill the Detective. So we must think of something completely different to defeat Dracula. You've heard about the Chakra, right? Then find it. It's a very effective weapon.

Here's what I managed to find out: after visiting Jack's Castle, the Dracula-Detective brought Juliette here. He tended to her, they drank something out of glasses. Then the Detective kissed Juliette, and she, in the words of the Ghost Girl, became white as chalk and fell unconscious, as if she'd died!

The Golden Spirit says the Detective, dressed as Dracula, returned from Jack's Castle with some kind of parcel in his hands. And that was the last thing the Golden Spirit saw. The Detective blinded him, but no human can do such a thing! Is it possible that a completely different entity is now in the Detective's body?

Then, when the sun went down, he stood up and went to Jack's Castle. The strangest thing is that the stone guardian let him pass.
