  • Human Mystery Solver

    I talked with your partner, the Detective, for a bit and he looks like a suitable candidate for the title of Mystery Solver. Do you think he'll agree to provide a personal item for the magic ritual? For example, that special revolver he told me so much about.

    This revolver doesn't just scare criminals, it can also stop a monster. It looks magical... It has an engraving that reads: "Spartk." This must be its name.

    Success! I remember the sign drawn on this tablet well! It's the Sumerian symbol we saw in the musical cache in the Organ! Why is it only visible in the past?

    This picture of an hourglass really scares me. Games with time again? Is it the mysterious Master from the case with the Organ? I suspect this basement is connected to him somehow as well. But any accusation must be grounded strictly on clear evidence. Find evidence in the Chapel Basement!

    What do we have here? What luck! This is the Lens of Time Diagram! And it has the Master's initial on it - the letter M. The same as on the Station Clock and on the Organ itself! Now we have proof that all these incredible things belong to him.

    My investigation isn't progressing and it makes me think of Sam Spade, the great private detective. Have you heard of him? There's a famous book about him, "The Maltese Falcon". He was always so straightforward and got what he wanted. This is something I lack. I'm always dealing with my own past and I get lost in a maze of memories. The Medium said there's a one cent coin that Sam Spade dropped when he visited the City once. I'd love to have it.

    My desire to settle my past in increasing. My self-confidence grows, too, and it feels like I've grown in height and my shoulders straighten by themselves. I've even remembered something from my past life! I have to check it out; see you later.

    I lack confidence and leadership skills. I am, to put it one way, too obedient. In this fountain was a Yuan coin thrown in by the Chinese Heaven Emperor when he passed through the City. That Yuan was charged with some of the emperor's authority and self-confidence. Can you find it for me?

    Is it the same coin? I have to hold it... Hmm, I don't fell anything. But if I put it in my pocket I'm sur it will work! Ah, I think I feel myself becoming braver! Or not... I feel it...     There's a strange red light coming from this flashlight! Well, as a treasure hunter, Cardsharp is certainly indispensable but it's just as I thought - we're not dealing with a Diggers Cache here. Hm... Look at these gold coins scatered on the Chapel's floor! Something isn't quite right with them!

    All the coins have hourglasses imprinted on them! But hourglasses or not, the coins are one-hundred percent gold!

    I'm so lucky to meet you today, colleague. I have some delicate business to discuss. You see, yesterday I met a stranger and he asked to play me for an invitation to a Card Tournament against my living time. How could I refuse? I have tons of time and invitations are so rare. But he cheated me! Now the sand grains of my life are inexorably trickling through the Time Clock. Poor Cardsharp can only be saved if you turn this clock upside down at the last possible moment. Everyone knows that the clock is somewhere in the Organ Room and only the music of five shadow musical items can help find it. But I have no idea where to look for them. Although, I did see a ghostly harp somewhere in the City recently. Find it to begin with.

    What a wonderful illustration! Someone put their soul into it. Depicting the Taj Mahal in a more beautiful way would be impossible.

    I helped Rayden hide the information. That was a good decision, considering how dangerous it is to fly through the fog. Just as we feared, the fog got into the cabin and made us forget everything. But I remember Rayden marking something on one of the anti-fog headlamps. Where is it?

    The headlamps, designed to be anti-fog lamps, protected the airship. But they broke. However, here is Rayden's mark. It points to the information cache.

    I really don't like what Rayden is saying about the City. But we can only discover what happened if we find the cache of records. Bring Rayden the next item that leads to the cache: an indicator. It shows how strong the fog is.

    So the main trouble in the other part of the City is a dense and dangerous fog. Is that why they came here? We can't say for sure yet. We need to find the information cache.

    We're on the right track to finding the information cache. Each item we find brings back more memories. The fog grew more dangerous and started to appear in the City during the day as well. We fought it by making artifacts. But they consumed a lot of energy... A Power Source is the next clue! Find it.

    I seem to recall something... The curfew was imposed because of the fog. Volunteers would patrol the borders to make sure no one got lost. I was one of them. I had a special bracelet with a red light. This bracelet it the next clue on our way to the information cache! Please find it.

    See how the bracelet glows? This makes it clearly visible in the fog. I would wear it to avoid getting lost. And there were others with me...

    I do remember hiding some information on the airship. Now that the fog has entered the cabin and damaged our memories, the cache will help us. I've personally selected the symbolic items that will lead us to the cache. I remember the first item, it's a radio. It helped me in my work... Find this Radio Receiver.

    The radio would announce curfew in the City. Look, there's a red dot on it. It should point us to the next item that leads to the cache.

    I've already thought of a way to designate their places. I won't be putting down any place cards as this isn't a banquet. I want to lay the table with cake plates, and each of them will have a picture on it, a symbol of a country. For my Italian friend, I need to find a dish showing the Colosseum.

    The illustration on thie plate reminds me of unfulfilled dreams. I always wanted to visit Italy and see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum... Believe it or not, I never once visited there in all these years.

    Cardsharp thinks this is another Diggers' Cache but I doubt it. We need to go and take a look! If Diggers are really involved, then we might find some of their things, say, a flashlight for underground work.

    Yes, we found a flashlight, certainly, but it doesn't look like a diggers' flashlight at all. Those are rudely made and filthy, convered with dirt and soot. This one is more like another piece of lab equipment, what with its constant eerie red glow.

    Five inventors living in the City offered salvation from Heartless. They created a protection artifact - a Flaming Skull combining the power of the other five skulls: gold, crystal, bronze, glass and platinum. They were also made in the form of skulls in order to frighten away particularly curious individuals. Hurry up and find the Platinum Skull before Heartless begins to cause more trouble!

    We are fortunate. The Platinum Skull is the final piece we need. In the past, when the inventors captured Heartless, they were not able to destroy him, so they sealed him in an underground trap. The Flaming Skull has faithfully guarded the entrance, scaring away outsiders and denying Heartless an escape to freedom.

    Okay, show it to me. This could be the school's insignia - doves drinking water out of a goblet. Maybe it represents the students drinking deep of the waters of knowledge... or something.     This manticore is really strong and, even though I now have a magically-charged machete, I simply might be too slow to deal a death blow. I have an idea: manticores are nocturnal creatures, just like werewolves, meaning they're afraid of bright light. I've seen signal flares in the crashed plane. Their light is so bright, it can blind monsters. Find me a signal rocket.

Detective ruined quite a number of werewolf furs during his investigations and now the sharp-toothed monsters have decided to have their revenge while he is boxed in by the manticore. By the way, one of the werewolves holds a brush kit for getting fingerprints in his jaw, the one that Detective dropped as he escaped from the manticore. I'm sure he will be really greateful if you return it to him.
