Let me see it! I really don’t like this Pince-nez... I heard that some trolls chase after human souls, human kindness and youth; and that lots of items hide some trick inside. I think this Pince-nez is a symbol of deception. We need to be careful. Trolls are cunning devils and can easily trick us.

The Egyptians believed that the soul of the righteous is so light that it won’t outweigh even a feather... You found the Maat’s feather! They say that in the Troll Market you can find anything your heart desires, but often instead of money the trolls will make you do something bad. Doesn’t Maat’s feather signify the imminent payment for sins?

I dropped by the Time Shop and its owner asked to pass on a new task. He asks you to find his Thaumatrope. It’s a kind of a toy with a disk with two pictures on its sides. If you twirl it really fast, the two pictures blend into one... On the Watchmaker’s Thaumatrope there’s a human on one side and a troll on the other. Find it.
You’ve succeeded, my dear friend! But, really, what intriguing pictures there are on this toy. A troll on the one side and a human on the other, and then they merge into one... Gives food for thought, don’t you think? However, these are just my speculations.

I’ll show you how to play the damaru. You have to rotate the drum around its axis so the balls strike the drumhead. You see, it’s not at all difficult. Get the hang of it and you can even scare away evil spirits like they do in Tibet. I hope this also helps to awaken the Dark Dragon.

You did it! See, I was right! The top of the wand turned out to be a dragon’s head. Did you know that Chinese dragons hear not with their ears but with their horns? It’s such an interesting feature.

Give me the sugar bowl, and I’ll put some in Miss Conelly’s drink. Did you know that sugar neutralises potassium cyanide? By the way, the actress will now remain alive and the Lawyer won’t be accused of her murder. He’ll also have a witness against the Baroness and Count McGrave.

The Lawyer drew up a will in which all of the Baron’s property goes to the Baroness instead of the Baron’s beloved daughter. They forced the Baron to sign this document. We put the candelabra from the fireplace on the desk, over by the Lawyer. When he finds out about the conspiracy between the Count and the Baroness, the Lawyer will realise that it’s in his best interest to burn the will. This will give the Baron a chance to remain alive, especially since the Lawyer has a revolver. And this will be the defense’s greatest argument.

Once he sees the threatening letter, the Lawyer will begin to doubt the Baroness’ honesty and will look in the folder. It contains a marriage contract that she’s already signed. The Lawyer has been hoping that she would sign such a contract with him. How will he react when he sees that the contract has been signed by Count McGrave? Look for a fake signature stamp in the ?ount’s pockets.
Excellent! Put Count McGrave’s fake signature on the Baroness’ marriage contract. When he reads this document, the Lawyer will realise that the Baroness has deceived him. Her goal was to get someone else to kill the Baron and lay all the blame on the Lawyer. Then there would be nothing to prevent her from marrying the Count and getting everything.

Here’s the threatening letter: "Baron, you are a scoundrel and unworthy of Miss Conelly! Your carnal intentions will not go unpunished. I will avenge her besmirched honor! Turren." This letter gives the Lawyer a motive for killing the Baron. This is evidence against the Lawyer, although he didn’t write it. Put this letter in his wallet. Look, the Lawyer has reached for it. As soon as he reads the letter, he’ll immediately realise that he’s being framed.

We have determined that Mr. N gave J. L. the role of the Butler in his own play. Like the other actors on stage, J. L. is immobile and doesn’t react to anything, so we have no way of learning anything about Mr. N from him. It looks like J. L. is gripping something in his hand. Bring me a few City artifacts so I can obtain this item.
Look, J. L. unclenched his fist and dropped the Darling’s Eye Medallion onto the stage. It’s a curious item. The medallion only has a picture of one eye in it to prevent other people from learning the identity of his secret love. There’s a note inside. It says: "Behind the painting." Could you check and see whether there really is a secret compartment behind one of the paintings in the auditorium?
