Hidden City Walkthrough

Quest

These are the story/quests featured in Hidden City. There is a vast number of stories, and please note that the order and categories are unorganized, so it might be a bit difficult to navigate. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Criminal footprint

    Detective

I showed some occultists the symbols left in evidence. They said it was a symbol they had never seen before, but they were obviously scared of something... why would they need to be so scared of a crate of whiskey left behind by a missing trafficker? Let's find out.

Following the symbols left on the crate led me to a man called "The Collector. I was happy to get a clue, but I never thought it would lead me to the city of shadows.

    Moon Gate

  • Arrived Recipient

    Conductor

There are a number of oddities in how I ended up in this city. In an empty train station, I found several telegrams addressed to me. But there was nothing written on them. I took them home with me, but I've forgotten where I put them... Could you help me find the telegrams?

See, there's nothing on the message, right? All you see is the recipient, i.e., my name. The city tried to call me, and they succeeded.

    Palace of Wishes

  • lost article

    Conductor

I wonder why I was chosen to guide that train... By the time it reached the last stop, the train was empty. All the passengers had already gotten off. And when we arrived at the station, there was no one there. People seemed to have disappeared without anything... some luggage was still on the carts. See how many suitcases were left there?

See, I told you, didn't I? The luggage is still here. That day, I was looking around to see if there were passengers who had forgotten their luggage. Then the train I was on disappeared like a phantom.

    Expedition

  • Mystical Signs

    Detective

As I later found out, the disappearance of a certain mafia boss brought me another step closer to the city of shadows. He and his Mauser gun both had strange symbols left on them. Find that gun. I'll show you the symbol.

The symbols left on the missing person's belongings were important evidence, but the evidence was too unrealistic for me to mention it to my colleagues. As a result, I was left alone to track down the missing person.

    Cards of Fate

  • First Steps

    Conductor

Right, the detective wants to know how I got to the shadow city? No, that's okay. I've got nothing to be guilty of. Let me explain how I got to this damned place from the very beginning. My first steps in the city were on a train platform. I remember finding a gargoyle gutter there. I'm pretty sure it was around here somewhere. Look for it.

You see these sculptures all over the city, but the day I arrived here, I was really surprised. I thought I was heading for some run-down old train station, but instead I arrived at a station that had been lavishly decorated as if it were a resort or something.

    Crystals

  • Forever in your heart.

    Valerie

The wedding between the lady and the gatekeeper will begin soon! I'm also remembering a Hawaiian tradition. The lovers pour sand sprinkled with colors into a bottle at the same time to symbolize their united destiny. Can you help me prepare that?

The gatekeeper and the lady may be different colors, but they can share a life together by pouring sand into one bottle. Nothing can separate them, just as mixed sand cannot be separated.

    Thanksgiving Fair

  • Traces of collision

    Kira Woodville

I still don't have a clear idea of what happened in the negotiating room. I would love to get any clues, no matter how small... Speaking of which, there were two piece-like objects next to the board game... and they looked a lot like Director Black and Layden. Let's check them out a bit.

Although some of the pieces are slightly melted by the fog bomb explosion, these pieces are indeed Layden and Director Black! A piece that looks exactly like a player in a board game is... odd, don't you think? I will have to take a closer look at this game that Violet has prepared.

    Negotiation Room

  • Crafted dice

    Carlos Light

It seems certain that something happened in the negotiating room. Let's find out what happened while the evidence is fresh. Oh, this...the fog sensor readings are going up. It seems to be reacting to something under the chair. I see something that looks like a dice.

These are the dice from the board game in the example! From the sensor readings, it seems that these dice were filled with plasma released from the fog. And when someone threw it on the board, it exploded. Could this be the work of Violet?

    Negotiation Room

  • Broken Rules

    Kira Woodville

Negotiations with Violet were probably not peaceful. We need to examine all the details closely to understand a little bit about what happened in this room before we arrived. That globe container over there is open... doesn't that look suspicious? Let's get right to it and find out!

Look at the shape of this globe's secret hiding place. It looks like there was a pistol inside. You can also see traces of relatively new gunpowder in the fabric of the inside lining. Does this mean that someone was planning in advance to interfere with peaceful negotiations? I hope Director Black and Layden are safe...

    Negotiation Room

  • Behind the crow's door

    Kira Woodville

The entrance to the negotiation room is behind that bookcase. The director told us how to open the door. First, push this book, then rotate the crow statue hanging on the wall. Then...voila, the bookshelf moves and a passageway appears. Now, let's hurry up and enter!

The room is empty, but the fireplace is still burning. It looks like there were people in the room just a few minutes ago. This is...the board game that Violet suggested we play during the negotiations. Did the negotiations actually take place? The fact that the air is a little stagnant means that someone may have used a fog bomb. What the heck happened here?

    Negotiation Room

  • Maiden Fruit

    Sophia

I always try to have apples in my dressing room because they give me energy when I am tired. I would love to have some apples sprinkled with gold dust to give it that ancient Greek feel. I know this is a bit of an unusual request, but could you help me find some?

You found an apple very similar to the one found in the garden of Atrath's daughter, Hesperides! Once upon a time, Heraclese, who had to procure golden apples for King Eurystheus, carried the sky instead of Atrath and sent him to fetch them. This is called his "Eleventh Merit.

  • Love Poems

    Sophia

I'm stumped! I was going to write lyrics about ancient Greek sculptors, but I can't find a single notebook in my dressing room! I need a notebook like the one the Greek poet Sappho had. Let's find something similar!

I know, I knew I couldn't find such a notebook...huh? You found it? That's wonderful! It is said that Sappho, a great poet, drafted her poems on a special wax plate bound in her notebook. The Greeks called it a diptych.

    Palace of Muses

  • Inspiration for Greek Architecture

    Sophia

I need a dressing room with the right atmosphere for a beautiful song about Ancient Greece. Mr. Stone has provided me with an unusual armchair shaped like a column head. Will you help him carry them to the dressing room?

Thanks for bringing the armchairs! They look just like the ones on the marble columns, but they are very soft to the touch. The column heads are the most typical element of ancient Greek architecture. I'm sure it will inspire you!

    Palace of Muses

  • Gentle light of the lamp

    Sophia

If I want to get into a romantic mood to write a song about Ancient Greece, I can't use an ordinary lamp. The people of Crete used to light very beautiful oil lamps, and I wonder if something similar is available in the city. You might be able to find one.

Well, what a classy oil lamp! Light it the same way the ancient Greeks did. Fill the inside with oil, then put the wick in. Then light it. The warm light of the oil lamp seems to get your creative juices flowing!

    Palace of Muses

  • Flowers by the Sea

    Sophia

If the two of us got to work, we could transform the dressing room into an Ancient Greek space in no time at all! Oh, by the way, I always get flowers from my fans when I go on stage for concerts, but it would be boring to live in a plain, white vase, wouldn't it? Can't you find an antique vase in town?

This is...not a real antique vase! And you even put dried flowers inside. How sweet! The smell of these flowers reminds me of the coastal plain. The curvy pattern and the scent of the sea are going to inspire me to write a song about ancient Greece.

    Palace of Muses

  • Light coming from the heavens

    Sophia

Olivia's statue has almost all of the gold leaf off of it. Veera checked the ingredients and she said real gold leaf was used! I have all the materials I need. But I don't have the tools to apply it. Can you help me find a special brush to apply the gold leaf?

Well, I'm surprised you found it so quickly! The bristles are very soft, so it looks like I can apply the gold leaf evenly. The gold leaf I'm using is very special. It absorbs the sun's rays and does not lose its shine over time.

    Palace of Muses

  • molten sun

    Vera

You made me a new part. And you did it very well! Now I just need something to glue this to the body. I think it would be best to use amber resin, but where do you think I could find some?

It's amazing how you find so much amber resin! I'll warm it up right away. Once it's the right consistency, apply it to the surface, attach the pieces, and wait a bit. By the time the resin is dry, it should be firmly attached.

    Palace of Muses

  • Delicate work

    Vera

When restoring an old piece of Olivia's work, you have to use special tools or you could cause further damage. It's best to remove the pieces that have been damaged so badly that they cannot be restored. I'm sure I have some tools for that around here somewhere...

You found a diamond cutter! You've found a part that is beyond repair, so let's carefully cut it out and replace it with a new one. Leave this task to me. Do you have any experience with stones?

    Palace of Muses

  • Unusual stones

    Vera

I have heard that there is a sculptor who restores statues using a living stone that only exists in this city. If we can find the stone, it would surely be useful in restoring Olivia's statue. Come on, let's go find it!

This living stone has a wonderful regenerative capacity. If it cracks or breaks, it can repair itself. I will powder it and sprinkle it gently on Olivia's statue.

    Palace of Muses

  • Missing fashionistas

    Detective

No connection was found between the missing people. No ransom was demanded; on the contrary, expensive items were left at the scene, untouched. Oh, by the way, there was a woman's hat in evidence. Have you seen one around here?

See, this is the latest New York fashion. What woman wouldn't want a hat like this? But the woman who wore it has disappeared. And she left behind a strange symbol on the brand's tag.

    River of Oblivion

  • The Mystery Case

    Detective

Buddy, the story of how I came to this city is not as mysterious as my guides think. I was investigating missing persons cases in New York City. Each case was completely unexplainable, but I just couldn't give up. I found evidence, some of which must have made it to this city. That's what we're looking for.

Yes, I just couldn't give up after evidence like this. The child in the stroller was loved by her parents. But then he disappeared. The stroller was empty, and all that was left was a strange symbol.

    Emperor's Palace

  • Special Poisons

    Vera

I'd better restore one of the oldest and most valuable pieces of Olivia's work first. This piece is in pretty bad shape with fog mold growing on it, but I know how to deal with it. Can you find me some golden moss? It should be growing under the stone, out of the sun.

You found twilight moss! Before restoring the statue, first wipe it down with this. This moss releases a special toxin when it dries, and only this toxin can remove the misty mold that covers the statue. So let's get started with the preparations.

    Palace of Muses

  • Sources of creativity

    Sophia

Thanks to you, I have everything I need for the ritual to get my energy back. However, the wheelchair I got is a bit old and somehow it doesn't work right. Maybe with your tools I can fix it. May I borrow it for a while?

It's good to see the wheelbarrow working! The colorful clay, mixed with a drop of inspiration, forms so smoothly in my hands... well, look at this. A very nice vessel has been created! And as I enjoyed the process of making this, it seemed to revive my energy and ideas!

    Palace of Muses

  • string of paper

    Sophia

I'm sure the ritual of ceramics will bring back my energy! But I'm worried that I might break the piece when I remove it from the potter's wheel. I need a string of kunum to make this process go smoothly.

You found the string of Khnum! I read in a pottery book that "Khnum" is the name of the god who is said to have created man on the potter's wheel. Using this string, the work can be neatly removed from the potter's wheel. I'm going to use it for my own work!

    Palace of Muses

  • Scent of Heaven

    Sophia

I never knew kneading clay could be so much fun. Let's pray that the pottery ritual will make us more energetic. Oh yes, let's burn some Tibetan incense so we can concentrate on our work. Could you help me find some together?

Well, you found some great leaves! This brings back warm fuzzy feelings as I recall how my mother would put the dishes with the fern leaf pattern on them on the dinner table. We would all sit around the table and chat over dinner. I miss those innocent childhood days...

    Palace of Muses

  • The Power of Art

    Sophia

I think a pottery ritual would help me get my creative juices flowing again, but I need inspiration to do the ritual in the first place... and that's exactly what I'm lacking right now. Can you help me find just a little bit of inspiration to make this ritual happen?

I'll add the drop of inspiration you found to the clay. This will be enough to create something beautiful in the ritual of ceramics. And then more inspiration will come from there...that's the power of art! What do you usually get inspiration from?

    Palace of Muses

  • Depth of Color

    Sophia

I'd like to do the ritual as soon as possible so I can recover. When I do pottery, I am constantly touching the clay, so I want to use a clay that is full of positive energy. I've heard that a different kind of colorful clay would work well for this. Can you help me find some?

Well, you found a very nice shade of clay! They say the more colors there are, the stronger the positive energy contained within. It is said that this kind of clay can be found in power spots, but where are the power spots in this city?

    Palace of Muses

  • rainbow

    Rayden Storke

This is wrong. Ms. Olivia should not take Sophia's place. Is there no other way? I'm going to go talk to her. In case I fail to persuade her, you go and find a color filter. According to Mr. Stone, we can't bring Sophia back to life without them.

Thank goodness you found the "life" color filter! From the looks of it, it seems to have faded a bit over the years. Will it still work properly? I guess we'll find out when we put this on the lens of the "Gorgon" camera.

    Palace of Muses

  • appeal to one's heart

    Alford Stone

Olivia has decided to become a stone statue instead of Sophia, but I am really not worried. I have tried to convince her to stop, but she just keeps repeating that she wants me to install a camera... According to the instructions I just read, we need to install something called a "pupil" lens, so let's find it.

Just as I thought...it was Shirley who stole the "pupil" lens! Thank goodness she left it here. With this lens, you can remove the effect of the camera. I am sure that when Mortimer calmed down and thought about it, he realized that he had created something horrible.

    Palace of Muses

  • The Sprouting of Life

    Martha

You're missing the last element needed for the liberation ceremony. The source of eternal life. There is only one place in the city where you can find it. The forest of spirits. I've asked the lady to send me an onion for the ritual. Can you open the package with the onion?

Thank you! Onions from the forest of spirits have been sprouting every spring for hundreds of years. This energy will help the girl's body awaken when her spirit returns. Unfortunately, the onions wither at the end of the ritual, but it's a necessary sacrifice.

    Observatory

  • The Beginning of Everything

    Olivia

When I become a stone statue, I want people to realize that it is me. I have dedicated my entire life to one thing. I have dedicated my entire life to only one thing: creating beautiful things. Can you find the first ornament I made with my own hands? I'm going to hold it in my hand.

Thank you for finding my first piece. It all started with this ornament. This wood carving caught my mentor's eye, and I found the sculpture that would become my life's purpose.

    Palace of Muses

  • A Guide from Heaven

    Martha

When a person is born, a star shines in the sky to illuminate their whereabouts. During the ritual, we use a bouncy wheel to interact with the star that is tied to the captive soul. Ask them to give you the strength to help the soul escape. Bring the cart.

I love it. This bouncer is essential to the ritual. The star guides have an invisible yet powerful connection to the souls trapped in phylacteries. They will empower the weary soul so that it can return to its body.

    Observatory

  • Inevitable Risks

    Martha

To open the phylactery and release the soul, I'll have to use some ancient and dangerous magic. During the ritual, I will prick my finger with a bone needle and drop blood on the magical seal of the Order of Shadows that has been placed over the phylactery to prevent it from opening. Could you please go find me a bone needle?

Oh, thank you. This bone needle would be perfect for the ritual. I don't want to resort to blood magic, but I don't see any other way. We have to accept the risk in order to open the phylactery and release the poor soul.

    Observatory

  • Soul Guidance

    Helen

Hanako-san brought us a gourd from the Japanese garden. Inside it is a soul guide, which protects the girl's soul in case it is intercepted along the way. However, I have lost the gourd in the commotion. Could you please search for it with me?

Thank you very much! I would not have found the gourds without your help. How in the world did it slip under the cabinet? I pray that this will not cause any problems for the soul on its way back to the body. Oh, and I wish this would send a message to my father.

    Observatory

  • The Bond Between Body and Soul

    Martha

The phylactery is only supposed to be opened by its creator, but I will try to circumvent that rule by using ancient magic. The ritual to release the girl's soul must take place at an altar made of living wood. Can you help me find it?

You found it! This altar is perfect for the ceremony. It is very important that the tree is alive. It will strengthen the connection between body and soul, helping the soul to return and awaken the girl who has been asleep for years.

  • toll of a bell

    Roger Doubledeal

Help! The bells have been ringing all day and it's driving me crazy. I went to complain that I thought it was the sound of the big bell at Martha's ancestral abode, but it's the fog express bell, shining and ringing nonstop. Remove it!

This bell started ringing last night when the light spread out in the fog, but it seems that some pieces of light wandered into the bell and kept ringing. What, you're saying this is a piece of my soul? Hmmm...okay, I've changed my mind. Give me back the bell. No? What the hell is going on?

    Observatory

  • Melody of the Soul

    Detective

I've found another key to solving the mystery. Last night I heard a certain melody repeating from the basement of the church. I went downstairs and found a gramophone. A piece of my soul was playing a record! I hid the gramophone, but I don't know where it went. Can you help me find it?

Thanks, buddy. I would have been in trouble without you. Do you hear that melody the gramophone is playing? It's as if it's gouging my heart. I hid the gramophone and then went looking for you so I wouldn't be driven mad by this melody. Why are we moving to another place?

    Observatory

  • Nice hair.

    Olivia

I know this may sound selfish...but when I bring Sophia back to life, I want to be a stone statue with a nice hairdo. I know it's a mess in here, but could you please find my hairpin with my glass beads on it?

Thank you! I was looking for this hairpin. It was made by a man who trained under the same master. Before I could tell him how I felt, the fog came and I couldn't see him anymore... but this hairpin will adorn my stone statue nicely.

    Palace of Muses

  • Muse Costumes

    Olivia

I hope I'm wearing a nice dress the moment I press the shutter of my camera and become a stone statue instead of Sophia. That's my last wish. I have a dress I've been saving for the solemn event. Will you help me find it?

Isn't it a beautiful dress? I always dreamed of one day having an exhibition of the best works of art that I would never forget once I saw them. I saved this dress for that day. Soon I will be a stone statue in such an exhibition.

    Palace of Muses

  • black snow

    Detective

If you were searching all over the city for the light of a lost soul, guess what you'd find? A snow globe. No, no, no, listen! It's got the same thing inside as the church in the center of town, but the soul fragments are wandering around the church trying to escape the black snow. I'll show you!

I told you. This is not just a church snow globe. And it's cold! My gut tells me that this is a tool used for some kind of witchcraft. Let's take this to Martha before dark magic extinguishes the light of the poor girl's soul.

    Observatory

  • evacuation site

    Hanako

I was so lost in thought last night, watching the dancing misty lights, that I did not immediately notice that a few of the lights had wandered into the lanterns in the Japanese garden. Martha told me the entities of the lights and I delivered one to the observatory. The lanterns are at the entrance. Could you please bring one?

Thank you very much. Look at this lantern. This is not the light of a candle, but the glow of many pieces of pure human souls coming together. I have traveled a lot in the world, but this is the first time I have seen such a miracle.

    Observatory

  • The mistress's plan

    Isabelle

To free the souls trapped in the phylactery, all the pieces had to be pieced together. The mistress used a mistletoe comb to lure one of the pieces. Juliette retrieved it for us. I think she just went through the window and threw the comb inside.

Okay, that's the mistletoe comb with the shard of light on it! How did the mistress guess that this was a piece of soul from the mist? I wonder what kind of evil she was planning to do with such a precious energy source in her hands.

    Observatory

  • crown of stars

    Helen

I think I have checked everything in the observatory, but this is the only object I found with light traces on it. What about over there? Would you like to examine the inside of that drawer? Yes, I can definitely see the light. I think it is the light from the constellation tiara my father gave me, but let's check it out just to be sure.

You are right. The spirit of light has clearly left its mark on the tiara, hasn't it? It's inlaid with the symbol of Leo in the zodiac. So this is also related to the last memory of the owner of the captive soul? Was that person wearing a crown?

  • Standing statue of love

    Alford Stone

The first victim of the "Gorgon" camera was Mortimer's wife. He took a picture of his wife at the doorway as she was about to leave. Startled, Agnes dropped one of her gloves...it must have been among the things Shirley had left behind.

I knew you would find it! See, about half of the glove is petrified, right? That's because I dropped them the moment they were photographed. Agnes herself became a stone statue, just like Sophia. What a terrible tragedy, don't you think?

    Palace of Muses

  • broken heart

    Alford Stone

An enraged Mortimer Sharpe stayed up all night working with dangerous artifacts to complete the "Gorgon" camera. In the morning, he told his wife about the time when they were in love, to give her another chance. Could you please find the wedding photo he showed her at that time?

Ah, here it is! It's a picture of Mortimer and Agnes in an antique frame. No wonder Shirley wanted to steal it. But look closely at this picture frame. There are some cracks in it. The wife smashed this picture on the floor in front of the photographer who again appealed to her not to leave that morning. The couple's relationship was over.

    Palace of Muses

  • cul-de-sac

    Alford Stone

The photographer's story should include a way to free Sophia from the effects of the camera. Mortimer was so desperate to keep his beloved wife that he even began to speak threateningly. Agnes promised her husband she wasn't going anywhere, but that same night he found his wife's travel bag. Can you help me find it?

Thank you for helping me find Agnes' travel bag. That...oh, it was here! Actually, Mortimer found two tickets in his wife's travel bag full of jewelry and baubles. The woman who was his wife and muse had lied to him. She was planning to run away with another man under the cover of night.

    Palace of Muses

  • Another man's promise

    Alford Stone

Is this how this Mortimer guy came to make the camera that turned Sophia into a stone statue? Well...it all started with a single letter addressed to his wife. It was not Mortimer who wrote it. It may have been mixed in with the ones Shirley left behind.

We know that Shirley stole this letter. It was probably because of the expensive jewelry inside. When Mortimer found this letter among Agnes' belongings, he was shocked. Yes, his wife had another man. That man was a sailor who had promised to take her out of the city of shadows.

    Palace of Muses

  • ideal couple

    Alford Stone

Find out how to bring Sophia back to life through the belongings of the man who invented the "Gorgon" camera. Mortimer Sharp was a genius photographer. And his beloved wife, Agnes, was his constant inspirational muse. Among the items Sharpe left behind, there must have been a photo of Agnes. Why don't you join us in looking for it?

Ah, you found the photo. This is Mortimer's wife Agnes. Probably the first time you've seen her, right? I said earlier that Mortimer was a genius, and it is true. He continued to create new and unusual techniques in the field of photography. All in order to capture the beauty of his wife forever.

  • Chaos in the head

    Olivia

Losing the art that was my purpose in life and being trapped in a fog, I gradually became mentally ill. I set the clay on the potter's wheel and tried to make various shapes, thinking that touching the clay might help me calm down. All of them were of vague shapes... Can you hand me the ceramic figurine next to the potter's wheel?

What a terrible ornament. The shapes are distorted and the colors are tragic. Even sitting at the potter's wheel shaping clay no longer soothed my soul. Having lost all my talents and skills, I stopped working with clay.

  • In the claws of evil.

    Detective

Buddy, I can't wait to find out who the soul in the phylactery belongs to. I found traces of light on the ring, which resembles a horrific bird's claw shape, and I remembered what Martha had said. That the owner of the soul could be an evil person. Think I'm exaggerating? Just look at the ring!

Now you know how spooky this crocheted ring is, don't you? Not very likely, but it doesn't look like the belongings of a beautiful peony-scented woman lost in the mists on a summer night. The owner of the soul the shadow cult is seeking must be a witch!

    Observatory

  • Tied memories

    Martha

I was following the light trail of a split soul and found some beads tied together. But when I tried to examine them, they fell apart. Please help me find the missing pieces so that I can identify the person whose last memory was associated with this piece of jewelry.

See. The pieces of the soul have left traces in the stone woven into the string, not in the beads. This is carnelian, the stone of Venus. It is said to evoke beauty, harmony, and love. It seems safe to assume that the soul belongs to a woman.

    Observatory

  • Pendulum Problem

    Isabelle

I can see traces of it on the pendulum placed on top of the old star chart in town. Let's check it out. I am sure that the pendulum and the star chart will show us the owner of the souls collected in the phylactery.

Helen and I built this pendulum to measure the time of day in the city. We couldn't rely on our eyes to measure either, because the sky here is covered with fog. I wonder why souls are drawn to this instrument? Could it be related to the fog in the city?

    Observatory

  • The Last Bouquet

    Martha

To find out whose soul it is, I look for anything with traces of soul fragments on it. Souls usually remember their last moments and cling to things related to them. Go get me that dried bouquet. I see traces.

This dried bouquet of peonies is surrounded by a circle of faint golden light, but this is the mark left by the light of the soul. Maybe the owner of the soul the shadow cult is trying to revive desperately wanted to smell the fragrance of this summer flower in his last moments. Maybe he was a gardener?

    Observatory

  • Heart Reflection

    Helen

I had no idea that collecting fog light was so dangerous... The explanation was that to activate the bottle, it needed to reflect the reflection. In my luggage was an unusual mirror covered with runes, so I used it. Oh my, where did it go? Please help me find it.

As the bottle was held up in front of this mirror, the reflections began to overlap and shine, making the light in the mist even brighter. Soon, the light began to head toward the observatory and fill the phylactery. Suddenly, the mirror cracked and the whole process stopped instantly.

    Observatory

  • Light Magnet

    Helen

When I first saw the light in the mist, it had not yet made its way to the observatory. My father wrote in a letter that we could collect this energy by using a bottle that resembled the shape of a half heart. When I heard that you all were heading to the observatory, I hid it. Could you please find the jar with me?

Thank you very much. I hastily hid this bottle and forgot where I put it. I activated this last night and it started attracting light like a magnet. The fog light continued to fill the jar for several hours and something unexpected happened.

I lost my talent as a sculptor, but I did not give up hope. I tried to create works using techniques I had never even thought of trying before. There must be an ugly stained-glass pyramid around here somewhere. Can you help me find it?

Thanks for finding my stained glass pyramid! It was a really poorly done piece...I couldn't even handle the glass anymore. The paint was uneven and I even cut my finger on the glass. I didn't have a single decent technique left.

It wasn't just my talents that the fog took away. I lost all my skills. I can't even remember the basic techniques that every sculptor knows. You see that jar of plaster material over there? Can you hand it to me?

See this! Ever since the fog came, every time I try to knead the plaster with water, it fails. No matter how hard I try, I end up with a strange colored plaster with lumps all over it. I've even forgotten how to use the materials and tools I've been using for so long!

  • Coordinates in the fog

    Helen

I had no way of knowing that collecting fog light would lead to hurting anyone. The first time I saw the light was through the lens of a special telescope that was in my luggage. It is called a fog beacon. If you look into it, you will see that the telescope is a very universal object.

This fog beacon would look like an amateur telescope. You can't see the stars with it. But when I pointed it at the fog, as my father explained, I saw millions of lights! How could I have known what they were?

    Helen

Light was attracted to the observatory by the contents of this box. When I opened the box, I found an item inside that I had not ordered, along with a letter. I thought it had been delivered by mistake, so I read the letter to find out the forwarding address. It is hidden behind a photo frame. Can you please bring it to me?

Can you guess who the letter was from? It was from my father! It was the first message I had received in years, so I hid it... My father still thinks I am in the middle of a terrible paranormal event and is looking for a way to help me. Please read. The letter is addressed to you.

  • What's inside?

    Helen

Last night a light gathered at the observatory, but before that there was something else. Yesterday morning, a package arrived at my doorstep. It was a seemingly ordinary, blue sealed waxed thing. I assumed it must have come from the Upper City. I often order items from them. Would you like to see the real thing?

This is the box. Some of the sealing wax has come off. I opened it as soon as I received it. There was nothing on the box about what was inside, so I wanted to know quickly what I had been sent. Imagine my surprise when I saw what was inside.

I go into a trance and tell the Ouroboros the answer my ancestors gave me. It will then show me a card from my deck. That card will show me the exact answer to the question about the identity of the misty light of the Ancients. Please take my magic divination card!

Well. Hmmm... you say Ouroboros picked this card out of the deck... what does that mean? You see, this card is a symbol of a very old, very precious, inseparable energy. In other words, the human soul.

Thank you for bringing the box of prophecy. It will be heavy as if it contains the souls of great saints who have seen it all since the dawn of time. Now let us listen. No one but the souls of the ancients understand the principles of energy on earth.

Well, let's proceed to analyze the fog light in a different way. I saw a light heading towards the observatory last night. Perhaps there is some energy source here that is attracting the light. I have a prophetic bird call that will help me pinpoint the location. Please get me the flask with the chirps in it.

Oh my, they found the flask so quickly! As soon as you open it, the prophetic cry will echo through the city like a sonic wave, and you will find the source of the energy that drew the foggy light. Nothing can hide from this force. Keep your ears covered. It's quite loud.

Now that we have the fog light, there's no reason not to start our research. First, we need to analyze the light that is being emitted. Let's pass this light through the glass of my kaleidoscope of truth. Could you please take it out of the bag?

It was a good idea to remove the glass from the kaleidoscope in case you followed the trail of lights left by the fog light. Hmmm...the light doesn't seem to pass through the glass, but it does paint out some symbols. What a shame it's so terribly blurry.

Well done! You found the light of the kiri and caught it well! Be careful. If it disappears, we'll have no way to figure out how this energy works.

You found invisible ink! Let's check it out right away... see, the letters you drew on your notebook disappeared right away. There's an instruction on the back of the inkwell. It says you'll need a special exposure solution to make the letters appear again.

I can't believe they really found the magic chalk! Let's quickly add the missing symbols on the floor and see if we can reveal one of the secrets of the Five Wise Guardians... I can't believe it! Just as you finish drawing the symbols, part of the floor collapses to reveal a hidden door!

But I didn't despair right away. At first, I thought that my talent had disappeared because of the side effects of the fog and that it would soon return to normal. With that hope in my heart, I tried various methods of healing. For example, the canvas hiding behind that door is one of them. Can you get it for me?

Rough brushstrokes, right? I had always been a good painter, but at that moment I could only paint like that. As I tore the canvas to shreds in a fit of rage, I was convinced that the fog had stolen not only my sculpture, but all my talent for creating beautiful things.

Try lifting the veil over this statue... oh, I can't look at it straight on. Actually, you know, the fog has not only not helped my talent, it has completely taken it away. I am no longer able to make sculptures. I can only make awful, awful things like this.

Looking back, she was in a neurotic state then. She wouldn't calm down at all, so I finally broke down and promised her I would make her a statue. I sat Sophia down and talked to her in a gentle voice while we sculpted it in fiscal year. I believe I still have some of what we made then in my workshop. I'll show you.

You can't see much of Sophia's facial features in this statue, but that's because I was busy placating her. After this work, we made up. Then she left. I never saw her again.

We have found no clues to this so far, and Sophia's residence remains completely unknown. Either she never came here, or someone has hidden the evidence of her presence here. Let's go next to the terrace located in the center of this pavilion. Can you find the key for me? I'm sure it's around here.

    Mr. Black

According to eyewitness accounts, Sophia entered the pavilion voluntarily. Is it possible that she was lured here or abducted and brought here? If so, there could be evidence of a struggle or resistance. Look at this stone statue. Why is it shattered?

I don't know if this stone statue was shattered by Sophia's outburst. Olivia's workshop is always a mess, because it looks as if people fought. She was so busy creating that she hardly cleaned up the mess. I guess geniuses don't have time for such trivialities.

    Rayden Storke

It has been several hours since Sophia went missing. I hope she is safe and sound somewhere... what is that thing over there? Is it a carving tool with blood on it? Please be very careful. It might be evidence!

I guess I was mistaken. It appears that the paint on these tools is not blood but paint. Rumor has it that she used only one set of tools. It was a gift from her mentor who discovered and nurtured her talent. Even after she became successful and wealthy, she continued to create masterpieces using only the old tools.

This sculptural work is unfinished, but it already has something that fascinates people. The designer's house is said to be decorated with many of her works. Is this work really new, or is it a work that never saw completion because Olivia ran away when this place was surrounded by fog?

You're a good tree climber too, aren't you? What a surprise, this nest is full of treasures stolen from Mr. Stone's store! I have heard that crows are attracted to shiny things. Perhaps this crow thief didn't have an owner from the beginning, and went about his crime all by himself?

Find clues and track down the thieves who stole from Mr. Stone's store. From the evidence found so far, it is possible that the culprits used a bird trained to open doors from the inside. Let's check to see if there is any evidence of birds in this store.

You have found something amazing! This egg-shaped ornament has black feathers. According to Stone, one diamond was stolen from this item. It seems that the killer was right about the bird's help. The feathers suggest that the bird was a raven!

The perpetrator probably climbed the tree and snuck into the antique store. There is a small platanus tree near the store, with branches spreading out in a position where the small window is clearly visible. Could the thief have entered through such a small window? Let's examine the window latch.

I don't see anything unusual in the latch, and there are no signs that someone forced their way in. By the way, Carlos gave me a special loupe that can detect faint traces of heat. When I tried to turn the pages of the album to learn about the fate of my parents, I found a spot where the pages were stuck together. I gently and gently peeled them off...done! Oh, what is this? A stamped document fell out of the album. Look for it.

This is indeed what my grandmother used to wrap me in during that horrible dream. In other words, that was all real. Another puzzling thing about my parents turned out to be true. I went to the address on the nameplate and found that it was an empty lot. What had happened to my parents' house? There were no more pictures in the album, but there was a piece of burnt cloth tucked in. I recognize this fabric. My grandmother had a strange costume made of this fabric. Let's find it.

Take a look at this. This cape is made of the same fabric as the scraps in the album. And it was hung over an antique bust, as if it had become part of the past. Moreover, the edges of the cloak are torn and burnt. Could it be that the fire was the reason my parents' house was gone?

It is odd that no one remembers where my parents lived. But there is a photo in the album with "Family Dwelling" written on it, showing my parents standing in front of a house with a rather unusual nameplate. I can't see the number on the nameplate very well, but I believe my grandmother had a similar one. Let's look for it.

This is definitely the nameplate from that photo! I don't know why this is here, but look closely at the pattern applied at the edge. I have seen something similar to this in my grandmother's book. She said that the pattern acts like a talisman. I am going to take this nameplate with me to search my parents' house. Unfortunately, the photos had completely faded away, but fortunately, my grandmother's writing was still there. Next to this photo, there is a writing that says "young family" and a picture of Rozaio with a key. I remember seeing a rosary like this somewhere in the cottage...let's see if we can find it.

The rosary you found does indeed look very similar to the picture in the album. The key does not appear to be from my grandmother's house, but it is reasonable to assume that it is from my parents' house, given that it is inscribed with the word "Stokes". Perhaps it is in this neighborhood. Ask the people who have lived in this neighborhood for a long time.

Here it is. It is a medal very similar to my grandmother's messenger. There is a magic spell to summon this cat, but what on earth should I say... well, how about this? Cat, come here..." But my grandmother said I had a vision and hid the crayon. Let's find it.

You found my grandmother's crayon with a crescent-shaped pendant. When I was a kid, it looked like this crayon was moving and drawing on its own. This is definitely a real magic book. But most of the pages are blank. I have heard that such books only reveal their secrets to sorcerers. In other words, I don't have the ability to...wait a minute. Things like symbols have begun to appear on the pages I touch! What does this mean?

So, to provoke the hobgoblins, I have mixed up the grains that my grandmother kept. If they are really there, they will try to put everything back together. Take a look at the bowl I kept the cereal in.

The grains in the bowl are still mixed up! If there is a hobgoblin here, it seems to be the type that is not very tidy. Huh? Birds were pecking at the cereal? It must have come in through the open window. Then, even if the hobgoblin organized the grains, the birds could have mixed them up again later...I'm kind of confused.

Thank you for helping me solve this conundrum. It is true that there is still quite a bit of milk left in this cup, but I actually poured it out just to the very edge of the rim. That means the hobgoblin drank it. What was that shadowy glimpse I just saw over there? Oh, a black cat went out the window! In other words, it is reasonable to assume that it was that cat, not the hobgoblin, that drank this milk.
