  • Golden Eagle

    Valerie

Cardsharp always manages to get into trouble! You’re looking for Tutankhamun’s jewels among the mummies to save him from a curse? Find a gold, eagle-shaped collar necklace. I see one in the pictures!

What a beautiful Necklace! Just look at these golden wings! It’s hard to guess that it was worn by a man. Tutankhamun definitely had good taste in jewelry!

  • Sign of Power

    Cardsharp

My dear friend, thank you for helping me escape the terrible curse of Tutankhamun. I suggest that we look for a Crook and Flail. Tutankhamun was depicted with these items on his sarcophagus!

The crossed Crook and Flail are a famous symbol of Tutankhamun’s power. Thank you my friend, you brought me one step closer to salvation!

  • Legendary Scent

    Isabelle

The ownerless treasure of pharaohs is usually kept by mummies, so it’s best to pester them about Tutankhamun’s property. The great pharaohs loved precious incense. If you want to help Cardsharp, try to find a Incense Case.

The Egyptians used such cases to store incense. Judging by the symbols on the golden lid, this one definitely belonged to Tutankhamun. You’re on the right track!

  • Full Set

    Lady

While you were looking for baking pans to help me patch up my relationship with the Doorkeeper, I was preparing the ingredients. I’m so used to Easter cupcakes that I never would have thought of such a bold solution myself. The oven is heating up. Quickly, bring the baking pans!

Thank you. With this baking Pan Set, I feel much more confident. Now I can surprise the Doorkeeper with an unusual treat. Then he will definitely relax and tell me everything that’s on his mind.

  • Endless Circle

    Inspector

Lady and the Doorkeeper are going round and round the subject of their feelings. Sometimes in my investigations I also feel like I’m going around in circles. By the way, there was a circular baking pan somewhere in the City.

I hope a Bundt cake will help Lady and the Doorkeeper break the vicious cycle of their indecision, hehe...

    Mansion by the Canal

  • Memories of the Sea

    Lady Peacock

It’s one thing when distance separates you from your loved one, but it’s even sadder when hearts cannot connect because of fear and prejudice... Find a shell-shaped baking pan.

Ah, this pan reminds me of the shell that the Captain left me as a memento before his long voyage. It will surely bring luck to Lady and the Doorkeeper!

    Mansion by the Canal

  • Obvious Solutions

    Huntress

Lady wants to reach the Doorkeeper’s heart with cakes? An unusual solution. Isn’t a heart-shaped baking pan the most logical choice? I saw one somewhere - let’s look for it.

Excellent. I think a heart-shaped cake will immediately tell the Doorkeeper what Lady wants to talk about.

    Mansion by the Canal

  • Compromise

    Detective

Do you think the Doorkeeper will be impressed with a cake? Perhaps it would be better for Lady to make him some fried mackerel? Well then, let’s look for a fish-shaped baking pan.

You found a fish-shaped baking pan! Well, with such a shape, even a cake will look mouthwatering.

    Mansion by the Canal

  • Way to the Heart

    Juliette

We need to help the Doorkeeper and Lady smooth things out! The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. We need to make him something sweet! Lady is an expert in Easter cupcakes, but I doubt the Doorkeeper will understand her correctly. Let’s look for unusual cake pan shapes! I think I saw a Castle-shaped Pan somewhere.

I can imagine how appetizing a cake with such towers will look! I’m sure the Doorkeeper will be surprised. A great start to a heart to heart talk!

    Mansion by the Canal

  • Peace and Ashes

    Martha

You’ve collected all the unusual pistols, and now we can create a special weapon for our ghostly Mayor. Bring them here to the center of the magic circle. City artifacts will give me the power needed to perform the ritual.

Rituals sometimes surprise me. In the center of the magic circle stands an... Inkwell Pistol! Yes, it shoots ink, but the Mayor can use it even as a ghost. After all, confidence is the best weapon against the monsters that are invading City Hall.

  • Improving One’s Chances

    Huntress

It’s always better to be safe when you’re about to fight a strong monster. Look for a Multi-barrel Pistol, then the Mayor will never have to fear monsters again.

A great Multiple-barrel Pistol, mein Freund! Monsters stand no chance against our Mayor.

    Angel Statue

  • Unsuccessful Blackmail

    Mistress

One unfortunate soul once came to me with a Ring Pistol. He tried threatening that he would shoot himself if I didn’t return his feelings. Ha, fool! His weapon is still lying somewhere around here.

Yes, this is the Ring Pistol I was talking about. Hurry and help the Mayor. I don’t like it when there is unrest in the City.

    Angel Statue

  • The Best Way

    Juliette

Mon ami, this world would be much kinder if we solved our problems with say, musical battles and not with weapons. Look for a Harmonica Pistol. What? There are stranger miracles in the City.

Hmm... Why did I think that a Harmonica Pistol would look less dangerous? Well, I hope this helps the Mayor solve his problem with the monsters.

    Angel Statue

  • New York Memories

    Detective

We need to help the Mayor with the monsters. I remember once, in New York, a robber surprised me during a raid and his gun contained a knife! Look for a curiosity like that. It will help the cause.

My God, that’s the same Knife Pistol that the criminal drove into my side! Ha, I healed up nicely, but that guy went to jail for a long time.

    Angel Statue

  • Unusual Weapons

    Martha

This isn’t a problem for someone with deep knowledge of the world of ghosts and spirits. I will perform a ritual to create a special pistol for the Mayor. But I’ll need unusual weapons from the City for this. For example, that strange Brass Knuckles Pistol that I saw in the City.

You brought me the Brass Knuckles Pistol. We are one step closer to creating a special weapon for the Mayor. I’ll start preparing while you look for the rest of the pistols.

    Angel Statue

  • Undying Glory

    Martha

Thank you for your prompt search. Inspector Dipp’s state is rapidly deteriorating. He has sunk into the deepest depression. We must quickly perform a ritual, release the Inspector’s soul, and remind him of his valor. Bring me some City artifacts.

Inspector Dipp’s awards line up one after another, obeying my spells. The bright light of heroism fills them... The City wished to award the Inspector with an honorable bust, which will become the jewel in his hall of fame! The notebook burns, and the Inspector is now free!

  • Rewarded Courage

    Detective

The City of Shadows always has a ton of work for a detective. So there’s no reason to fear competition. I remember the day Dipp received the Badge of Courage. Let’s find it.

I’m glad Inspector Dipp became our trusted colleague. I hope this badge reminds him of a detective’s excitement and his own merits.

    Angela's Park

  • Monster Fighter

    Huntress

Some spawn of the Shadow has seized Inspector Dipp through the guise of a notebook? During a recent monster hunt Dipp surpassed even me, an experienced Huntress. Look for his Storm of Shadows Trophy.

The Storm of Shadows Trophy is only awarded to the most worthy villain hunters and defenders of the townspeople. I hope that Inspector Dipp will soon return to our ranks.

    Angela's Park

  • The First Step is the Hardest

    Cardsharp

Inspector Dipp is not easily scared. I’m so sorry to see him broken. Dipp was awarded a medal for his first successful investigation. By the way, I think it’s made of pure gold... Will you look for it?

The Inspector has earned the right to have such an alluring gold medal. A pity I’m too careful for such awards. Help Martha lift the curse off Dipp.

    Angela's Park

  • Universal Gratitude

    Juliette

I can’t believe that Inspector Dipp fell victim to a curse, mon ami! The City’s residents recently signed a pennant for him with our most sincere thanks. Look for it.

This pennant is a symbol of our universal respect for Inspector Dipp. He managed to help literally every citizen! I hope the pennant helps us remove the curse.

    Angela's Park

  • Golden Words

    Mayor

Inspector Dipp is a respected and valuable resident of our City. We cannot let the strength of his spirit fade away because of some curse. Martha says that the unknown seller found this notebook in the fog. I personally awarded Dipp with a Golden Certificate for "Keeping Order in the City." Find it for the Inspector!

Great work! This certificate is rightfully earned. The City has become more orderly since Dipp appeared. I hope it stays that way.

    Angela's Park

  • Master of Fine Crafts

    Cardsharp

I immediately agreed to help our cute Jul when I learned that you had collected these rare materials. You have such good taste!\n I need some artifacts to complete the Star Queen’s Tiara, as I call it. They will make it shine with royal splendor.

Right... Don’t hurry the finishing touches. The artifacts have multiplied the radiance of the rare precious stones, and now this piece of jewelry can rightfully be called the Star Queen’s Tiara! Yes, it really suits Juliette.

  • Fresh News

    Adeline Svensson

I’m following the creation of the tiara for the queen of the City’s ball, and at the moment there still aren’t enough materials. Let’s find some earrings that have been altered by the City’s magic! They have enough metal to finish the tiara.

You found the earrings. It’s hard to believe they were actually made of beads. Now these are jewels worthy of a queen.

    Observatory

  • Royal Necklace

    Valerie

I saw the dress that Jul made for the Star Ball. It looks amazing! But the royal image would be incomplete without a necklace. Look for a piece of jewelry similar to a necklace.

Oh, this necklace is as beautiful as a clear, starry sky. It will look amazing on Jul. There’s also enough materials for the crown.

    Observatory

  • Starry Bracelet

    Lady

Jul worries that Cardsharp won’t make the crown in time. I think everything will be fine. I recently saw a large bracelet somewhere in the City. Bring it to me. It will work well for a crown.

This bracelet has enough rare metals for Juliette’s tiara. It’s good that I proposed her candidacy... Oh, shush, I don’t want to embarrass her.

    Observatory

  • Ball Queen’s Ring

    Detective

I noticed a ring with a shining star in the City. It would look stunning on Jul’s thin fingers. A pity Cardsharp will melt it to get materials for the ball crown. Will you help me find it?

The words "Secret Light" are engraved on the ring. It truly is worthy of a queen. Hmm, maybe we can ask Cardsharp not to use everything for the crown?

    Observatory

  • Comet of Transformation

    Helen

The City’s magic has transformed many materials and turned them into jewels. I’m sure it has everything you could need to make a star crown for Juliette. I once had a simple brooch in the form of a falling star. Find it. Let’s see how the anomaly changed it and whether it’s suitable for a Star Ball crown.

Incredible! A brooch made of wire and glass beads turned into a piece of jewelry. It will fit Juliette’s crown perfectly.

    Observatory

  • Bring to Light

    Martha

You’ve managed to remember all the riddles of the insidious Bird Catcher and find the items corresponding to the answers. Now it’s my turn. We will perform a ritual and find out what information about the Captain the Bird Catcher was hiding. Prepare the artifacts of concentration.

The spirits are unusually active. They are gathering around the answer-items and are absorbing the energy of the artifacts... The Greenhouse is filled with the buzzing of magical currents... A vortex of magical feathers appears in the center of the ritual circle... Look, there’s a letter!

  • Price of the Riddle

    Cardsharp

Lady Peacock must receive the information specified in the contract with the Bird Catcher. Always demand compliance with a contract, my dear friend! The last of the Bird Catcher’s riddles was about a coin. Please find it.

I had hoped the Indian Coin from the Bird Catcher’s riddle would be worth more... You can have it. Or give it to Martha, for Lady Peacock’s ritual.

    Greenhouse

  • Jewel of the Tea Set

    Lady

Lady Peacock is finally getting a step closer to the return of her beloved! And all we need to do is remember the Bird Catcher’s riddles. The fourth definitely read like "Every guest kisses me," and the answer was a Cup! Will you find it?

Even my collection of guest dishes from around the world doesn’t have such an exquisite Indian Cup! Let’s hope it helps Martha summon a vision.

    Greenhouse

  • Sifting

    Juliette

I agree with Martha: even if Lady Peacock didn’t solve the Bird Catcher’s riddles, we did it for her! And, according to the contract, we have the right to a reward! One of the riddles was about a Strainer. Will you look for it, mon ami?

I use a similar Strainer in the Manor to make tea. It’s strange that such a domestic item holds a piece of the Bird Catcher’s magic! Martha will handle it.

    Greenhouse

  • Don’t Forget the Hat

    Mayor

If the items from the Greenhouse really allow Princess Peacock to advance in her search for the Captain, I’ll also poke around my memories. The second riddle was definitely about a nice Hat! Find it.

A Hat is truly the most important accessory. Let Martha use it to tell Lady Peacock about the Captain’s fate. What were the Bird Catcher’s other riddles?

    Greenhouse

  • In Vino Veritas

    Conductor

Martha has an idea about how to help Princess Peacock get some news from her betrothed. We just need to remember the answers to the Bird Catcher’s riddles. I remember perfectly that the first riddle was about a wonderful bottle of wine! Let’s find this wine!

This Wine Bottle looks expensive. I’m sure its contents are befitting! I’ll take it once you perform the Bird Catcher’s ritual for Lady Peacock, okay?

    Greenhouse

  • The Most Important Symbol

    Yui

You’ve collected everything I need for calligraphy. Thank you, but what do I write? I think I’m getting even more nervous. My friend, help me one more time. Bring me some artifacts of the City - they will help me concentrate and come to the right decision.

Of course! What can help me achieve harmony, if not the character for "serenity?" The brush glides smoothly and easily, the ink quickly absorbs into the rice paper. The invisible burden disappears from my soul, and I plunge into an overwhelming calm.

  • Princess’s Preferences

    Juliette

The key element of calligraphy is paper, mon ami. If we give Princess Yui the wrong paper, this will only make her more upset. I know! The City is full of odd things, and there should be some Rice Paper there too.

This Rice Paper looks so fragile... But one shouldn’t doubt the preferences of princesses! Take it to Yui. Let’s help her conquer her nightmares.

    Emperor's Palace

  • Order in Everything

    Detective

Princess Yui needs a container for her brushes so that they don’t get lost before the calligraphy exercise. Chaos in things causes chaos in one’s head, as my detective mentor used to say. Find a suitable Brush Container.

My boss always said that you need to keep your desk clean for there to be order in your thoughts. I hope this Brush Container helps Yui.

    Emperor's Palace

  • Sisterly Worries

    Mei

I cannot stay away while my sister is suffering from nightmares! Give her my Calligraphy Brushes - they will come in handy in Yui's calming calligraphy practice. But they went missing somewhere.

Yes, those are my Calligraphy Brushes. Juliette wanted to borrow them. She said they would be perfect for powdering. But my sister needs them more now.

    Emperor's Palace

  • Fancy Stone

    Inspector

You’re helping Princess Yui to fight her inner fears? That’s commendable. She will need an Inkstone to practice calligraphy. Help me find one for the princess.

Princess Yui will be delighted. This Inkstone is a work of art in itself, although I almost confused it with an elaborate ashtray.

    Emperor's Palace

  • Smell of Ink

    Yui

I was a troubled child. To help me cope with my anxiety, I was taught the art of calligraphy. Perhaps a little calligraphy would help me restore my broken harmony. Calligraphy, as my teacher used to say, begins with an Inkstick. Please find one for me.

You’ve brought me an Inkstick. The smell of solid ink brings me back to my childhood. I feel a little calmer, but this is just the beginning.

    Emperor's Palace

  • Five Eyes Are Better

    Isabelle

You have collected all five magical lenses for the past viewer. I managed to prepare the foundation of the device and we can now start building it... To adjust the lenses properly, I’ll need the strength of City artifacts. Collect them, please.

The lenses installed in the core of the device fill with magical light and transform it into an ultra-precise magical tool! The past viewer is ready! We urgently need a case for field research... Thank you for helping!

  • Seeing the Essence

    Monk

Sharp vision alone is not enough to see the evidence of crimes through the shroud of the past. You need to observe, to contemplate. Look for a Lens of Clear Contemplation if you want to help your friends.

The Lens of Clear Contemplation will help our detectives look at the very essence of things and not just see the surface. Take it to master Isabelle.

    Laboratory

  • Looking Far

    Isabelle

My past viewer will allow detectives to look into the past and search for evidence of a crime there. To increase its range of sight, I will need a Lens of Foresight. Please look for it.

With this Lens of Foresight, our detectives will be able to look into the past, covering an entire street! There will be fewer crimes in the City. We will soon begin the ritual.

    Laboratory

  • A Look Back

    Martha

For Isabelle’s device to help us look into the past, you need to tie its very essence to the matter of the past itself. This is similar to my gift as a medium. Look for a Lens of the Past.

The Lens of the Past will allow the device to look deeper into the layers of the recent past in search of traces of the criminals. Give it to Isabelle.

    Laboratory

  • Eagle Vision

    Isabelle

Magical lenses will allow our detectives to see evidence of crimes in the past, and identify the villains by their silhouette... A lens of sharp vision would be really helpful. Go find it.

The Sharp Vision Lens will adjust my past viewer in a way that the Detective won’t miss the slightest detail at the crime scene.

    Laboratory

  • Predator’s Sight

    Huntress

Isabelle has also asked others to help her create a "magical past viewer." She said that the key element consists of five magic lenses with special optics. A hunter, just like a detective, often works at night and could use the night vision of a predator. Look for a Night Vision Lens.

Even without Isabelle’s device, I can see in the dark by looking through these Night Vision Lens! Take them to madam inventor before I decide to keep the lens for myself.

    Laboratory

  • Financial Focus

    Martha

You’ve collected relics that helped their owners get rich. Now Juliette can leave the Mistress and not experience any more financial difficulties. To combine the energy of these things into a single item, I’ll need some artifacts. Bring them to me.

Wonderful! Thanks to your help, and the blessing of the spirits, I’ve created the Lucky Alarm Clock. It will provide the financial success that Juliette so lacks. Can you hear it? Its ticking sounds like the ringing of coins.

  • Weaving Bobbin

    Valerie

They say there’s a magic bobbin at the Fair that belonged to Ernie Ernegie himself! I only ever saw bobbins like that in old magazines! Ernegie always wore a thread for luck. Look for it.

You found the weaving bobbin - Ernegie’s talisman for financial success. Just like Jul, he worked since early childhood. I hope that his bobbin will attract money to Jul.

    Thanksgiving Fair

  • Castor’s Watch

    Cardsharp

I heard you’re looking for things that attract money. A little bird told me that William Castor’s Pocket Watch has turned up. He always kept up with the times and became rich that way.

Excellent! This pocket watch belonged to William’s great-grandfather and obviously attracts luck. Will these items help Jul make her own fortune?

    Thanksgiving Fair

  • Bord’s Wheel

    Mayor

I heard you were looking for things that attract financial success. Then you will need the wheel from the toy model of Hank Bord’s car. Go and look for the wheel.

As a child, Bord and his father made this toy wheel together. Martha will turn it into a real wheel of fortune to solve Jul’s financial difficulties!

    Thanksgiving Fair

  • Brother’s Hat

    Martha

In trying to help the Detective create a lucky charm for Juliette, I encountered the spirit of Albert Copel. This rich man’s talisman was an old hat. Go and find it.

The hat belonged to Copel’s brother, who died in an explosion. It brought Copel luck and gave him the strength to work and live for two.

    Thanksgiving Fair

  • Believing in Luck

    Isabelle

Did you know that the tycoon Mark Rogfleer was a very religious person? He never let go of his rosary and believed that it brought him financial success. I saw it in the City somewhere Will you help the Detective find it?

What a rarity! I feel that Rogfleer’s Rosary will be perfect for creating an artifact that will help Juliette solve her financial problems.

    Thanksgiving Fair

  • Prisoner of the Observatory

    Juliette

Mon ami, I also hear a woman screaming. I tried looking through the window to see what’s happening inside, but everything is flooded with white light in there, and I can only see terrible shadows moving in the building. Let’s enter the Observatory. Please, be careful. I don’t think it’s safe in there.

Look, everything in the Observatory is turned upside down! It looks like the aftermath of an explosion! Look up! A girl is floating in the air under the dome and an energy vortex is raging around her. Maybe Isabelle can figure out what happened here.

    Observatory

  • What the Stars Brought

    Huntress

We’re one step away from entering the location. What will we find there? New mysteries of the City are waiting to be uncovered. Go on, enter!

The location is now open! Do you feel the pull of new adventures? The magic of the City is calling out to us!

    Observatory

  • Mystery of the Calendar

    Martha

The Astronomer knew that Helen would spend many years in the fog. But how did he know that? In his diary, the Astronomer constantly uses Fog Calendar dates, but there’s nothing like that in the Observatory. Bring me some artifacts. Maybe they will help us find the calendar and learn its secret.

I focus the energy of artifacts, and it passes through the encrypted records. The signs are highlighted, and their light is reflected in the Mirror Well and forms the calendar that the Astronomer used for all his research.

  • Electrical Stars

    Detective

What a day, buddy. We saved Helen from the anomaly and found a way to support her life energy. Her missing father turned out to be a great scientist from the Order of Five! I wonder what he managed to find out about the City? The Astronomer left a lot of encrypted cards that Helen has yet to read.

  • Energy Ring

    Martha

Everything is ready for the ritual that will create the Zodiac Flywheel, including the energy sources and the people who are making a sacrifice to save this stranger. If we combine their energy, we can loop it. We need some artifacts to finish the work. Bring them to me and we will begin.

We did it! The City’s artifacts fill the astrological symbols with their power. They are imbued with the power of zodiac constellations and merging into one, they turn into the Zodiac Flywheel. Helen is saved!

  • Lion’s Share

    Martha

The Zodiac Flywheel amulet must be based on Helen’s zodiac sign. Her diary says that she was born on August 1, meaning that she is a Leo. Her astrological symbol must be somewhere in the Observatory. Find it as soon as possible and then let’s begin the ritual.

Excellent. This Leo Sign belongs to Helen. Now everything is ready for the ritual to create the Zodiac Flywheel to help the girl keep her vital energy.

    Observatory

  • Scorpio’s Help

    Mistress

Helen is of some interest to me and if creating the Zodiac Flywheel will save her, then I will take part in this fuss. Don’t look at me. Find Scorpio, my zodiac sign. Hurry. The girl is losing her life.

Wonderful, this Scorpio Sign is just what we need. With my energy, the Zodiac Flywheel will be powerful enough to save Helen.

    Observatory

  • Power of the Huntress

    Huntress

I swear by my blade that Helen will not die today. I’m determined to save her and take part in the ritual that will create the Zodiac Flywheel. Help me find my sign in the Observatory. Which one? Sagittarius, of course.

Thank you, mein Freund. I’ll take the Sagittarius Sign to Isabelle and help her prepare everything to create the Zodiac Flywheel amulet to save Helen.

    Observatory

  • Weight and Fluctuations

    Alex

Saving a girl is all that I could’ve dreamed of during my lifetime. I will gladly give up part of my soul to create the Zodiac Flywheel and save Helen. My zodiac sign is Libra. Find this symbol in the Observatory.

I’m all about fluctuations inspired by the astrologic Libra Sign. This symbol will be useful in creating the Zodiac Flywheel for Helen.

    Observatory

  • The Power of Virgo

    Valerie

Isabelle will create the Zodiac Flywheel to save Helen’s life. To do this, she asked us to collect artifacts of the zodiac signs. I want to help and take part in the ritual. Find my zodiac symbol in the Observatory - the constellation Virgo.

The Virgo Sign you found looks a bit like me, doesn’t it? I’ll go and prepare for the ritual. I hope Helen and I become friends once she is saved.

    Observatory

  • Cryptography Origins

    Martha

We managed to find keys for the various ciphers in the Observatory. Each of them is a hint to the Astronomer’s personal cipher. We’ve collected everything we need to get a Cryptographic Disk to help us decipher the Astronomer’s records. Bring me some artifacts. They help me focus and stop me missing anything.

The magical energy of the artifacts highlights the symbols on the Cryptographic Disk and they take on a different appearance, as new symbols appear on one of the disks. Bring me the notes, and I’ll read them.

  • Mixing Up Letters

    Inspector

Cryptography is my secret passion. I know how to decrypt the permutation code. To unravel it and understand why the Astronomer didn’t ask anyone to help Helen, I will need a Scytale. It’s a narrow cylinder with a strip of parchment. Look for it in the Observatory.

Let’s see what message the Scytale will convey to us. This method was invented by the ancient Greeks, and the Astronomer used Latin for the cipher.

    Observatory

  • Intentional Errors

    Martha

Some star charts in the Observatory contain errors - the constellations have too many bright stars. I’m sure it’s not accidental and is actually a cipher. Let’s use the Cardan Grille to decipher it. It’s definitely somewhere in the Observatory.

By attaching the Cardan Grille you found to the starry sky map, I can read the message the Astronomer tried to hide. But I need time.

    Observatory

  • Cipher on a String

    Huntress

I noticed several Aeneas’s Disks in the Observatory. Aeneas invented a coding device that uses a plate with holes, which a rope is pulled through. Bring me all the disks you can find. I will help you find out why the Astronomer didn’t ask for help.

On Aeneas’s Disk you found, each hole corresponds to a letter. If I untangle the thread, I’ll be able to read the Astronomer’s encrypted message.

    Observatory

  • Field Notes

    Alex

The drawings in the Astronomer’s notebook are very conceptual. They look like vague dreams. Do you think he encrypted something in the drawings? We can decipher them using a Cylindrical Mirror. Look for it in the Observatory. It will let us crack the cipher.

I held the Cylindrical Mirror up to the drawings in the Astronomer’s diary and saw them clearly. Does this symbol look like a piece of the cipher code, or am I mistaken?

    Observatory

  • Astronomical Abracadabra

    Isabelle

I believe the text in which the letters dance as if under the influence of "Abracadabra" could be encrypted using a shift method. We could decode it using an Encryption Ring with two lines of characters. Find the Encryption Ring in the Observatory so we can decipher the Astronomer’s code and understand why he didn’t call for help when disaster struck Helen.

Look, there are symbols on the back of the Encryption Ring as well. The Astronomer used 5 letters shifted to the right. I’ll start deciphering the code.

    Observatory

  • Hidden Energy Beam

    Isabelle

We collected the objects affected by Helen’s hidden energy. I need the City’s magic to understand what happened to the Fog Telescope during its first launch. I’ll need a few artifacts for this. Bring them to me and we will begin.

Look, the magic of the artifacts created a beam of light. It passed through the telescope lenses and showed a picture from the past in the mirror. It depicted the telescope’s launch. Look, there’s another note, but the handwriting is different.

  • An Abnormal Photo

    Isabelle

I noticed aura pictures in the Observatory. Perhaps they belong to the girl. I believe they will help me determine what caused the explosion. Find the picture with the clearest image.

Judging by the Picture of an Aura you found, Helen herself became the source of this anomaly. I think she may be the power generator we are looking for. But I’m not certain.

    Observatory

  • Refraction of Energies

    Martha

I studied the Observatory’s aura and came to the conclusion that the energy that flows here is constantly focused, passing through Energy Lens. Perhaps this is what caused the explosion in the Observatory? Let’s find it.

These Energy Lens focus a whole spectrum of subtle energies, but now I see that it couldn’t have provoked the explosion. But we are getting closer to the answer.

    Observatory

  • The Power of Rejection

    Detective

I’ve been gazing at this Levitating Planet with moons for almost an hour. Why is it hovering in the air? I tried looking for magnets or thin threads, but there’s nothing. Help me catch this planet. My instinct tells me that it’s somehow connected to the explosion.

The Levitating Planet is suspended in the air under the influence of some energy inside it. But this is an ordinary papier-mâché model. Who put an energy source inside it?

  • Woman in Gloves

    Juliette

I’ve noticed that Helen has a large collection of gloves at the Observatory, and they don’t really look like they’re meant for outings. I can tell a lot about a lady by her gloves. Bring them to me. Maybe they’ll tell us something about the explosion at the Observatory.

I’m sure that the owner of these Protective Gloves worked with electricity. They are elegant, but there are spots on them spoiled by the effects of heat. Oh, there’s a note.

  • Lightning Strike

    Cardsharp

Who told you that I’m only interested in the clatter of precious metals? All lies! I admire any rarities or treasure... I was lured to the Observatory by the shine of a Fulgurite - a figurine created by a lightning bolt. Let’s find it together and learn the cause of the explosion. Then we’ll reach an agreement, okay?

Fulgurite is sand scorched by a lightning strike. Hmm, lightning would have burned everything, but there are no traces of fire. This means that the lightning was guided, and very skillfully.

  • Identification Ritual

    Martha

I’ll help the Detective identify this girl. Let’s compare all the items you found and try to understand what she’s hiding. If this girl is a danger to us, we better find out immediately! The City’s magic will speed up the process. Bring me some artifacts and let’s begin!

The City’s magic is passing through the personal belongings of the Observatory’s inhabitants. Look, stars are lighting up on the vault. They are pointing to a secret cache. Inside it is a diary with diagrams of constellations. I think it will help us establish the identity of this girl.

  • New Point of View

    Juliette

Mon ami, I found a photo. It depicts our mystery woman in strange glasses. There’s an inscription on the back: "... don’t forget to look at things from different angles." Maybe she has bad eyesight? Let’s find these glasses. They’ll tell us something about their owner.

These Rainbow Glasses have very thick lenses. They greatly magnify tiny objects. With them, I could embroider the thinnest of fabrics.

  • In Search of the Star Path

    Inspector

Have you noticed that the Observatory is filled with various drawings and maps? Let’s look for some Drawing Tools. Perhaps they will have some kind of engraving or monogram hinting at the girl’s name.

There’s something written on the compass from the drawing kit. I can’t make it out, since the inscription is almost erased. But there is a date: 118th day, f.c. Maybe this is a cipher?

  • Astronomical Calculations

    Detective

There are many suspicious devices here. I think the people who lived here were making their calculations using an Ancient Calculator. So, which of the gadgets scattered around the Observatory fits the description of a calculator? Will you help me find it?

Buddy, are you sure this is an Ancient Calculator? I would never have thought that this was a calculating machine. Our mystery woman is very smart if she knows how to use this.

    Observatory

  • Astronomical Dust

    Valerie

I noticed a Frame with Quartz Sand on the table. The sand moves freely inside it, creating an image. Let’s examine it closely. Maybe it can tell us something about the Observatory’s owner?

Look, there’s a card on the frame, which says: "Happy Father’s Day! I hope you finish your calculations soon." The girl definitely worked here with her father.

    Observatory

  • Smart Comfort

    Lady

Everyday items can tell you a lot about their owners. I’m sure that the Observatory’s inhabitant often took tea breaks. Look, a device is built into the teapot! But why? Bring me the Smart Teapot. Maybe it will tell us something about its owner.

I was right! This teapot is set to the perfect tea brewing temperature - 80 degrees Celsius. The person who invented it certainly was creative.

  • A Trap for Electricity

    Isabelle

The items you found helped me study the anomaly. I will call on the magic of the City to create a Lightning Catcher. It will absorb the energy of the electrical field around the girl so I can destroy the anomaly. The artifacts will increase our chances of success. Will you lend me a few?

The Lightning Catcher worked. I managed to break the electrical field around the girl and destroy the anomaly. I will thoroughly study our experience and catalog the anomaly! The girl is now free, and the foreign energy is leaving her body.

  • Surplus Storage

    Inspector

To save the girl, Isabelle needs something that can store the anomaly’s energy. I noticed an Electrostatic Machine in the Observatory. Let’s get it out of this mess and give it to Isabelle.

Great, the Electrostatic Machine wasn’t affected by the explosion. As it rotates, static electricity gathers and then a discharge occurs. It will help us destroy the anomaly.

    Observatory

  • Creative Process

    Isabelle

I gathered some information and now I can take a guess at how to destroy the anomaly. Do you see that stone glowing with golden light from the inside? It looks like a meteorite. Bring it to me. I feel that I will need it to destroy the anomaly.

I don’t remember a meteorite ever falling in the City. It contains rare metals, so its unusual properties might help me destroy the anomaly.

    Observatory

  • Pressure of Light

    Professor

We need a Crookes Radiometer to determine the light pressure of the anomaly. It’s a four-bladed impeller, balanced on a needle inside a glass bulb. Find it. This impeller will help Isabelle destroy the anomaly around the girl.

The radiometer rotates due to the intensity of light. Measuring this value will allow Isabelle to figure out how to destroy the anomaly.

    Observatory

  • Anomaly Spectrum

    Isabelle

When everything is flooded with white light, the size of the anomaly is difficult to determine. We need to transform the white halo surrounding it with an X-Cube - a separation prism that will help us determine the size of the anomaly.

This X-Cube Prism broke down the light emitted by the anomaly, and now it’s clear that it doesn’t fill the entire Observatory, but is only present around the girl.

    Observatory

  • Celtic Indicator

    Martha

Since there’s no time to waste, we must act quickly. Examine the Observatory. I saw a Rattleback somewhere - it has an oblong top with a convex area and no sharp points or edges. It will act as an indicator in the destruction of the electrical anomaly.

You found the Rattleback. It can change the direction of its rotation and will help Isabelle create a device that will destroy the anomaly.

  • Astronomical Storm

    Inspector

Last night, the City’s residents saw a meteor shower for the first time in many years. In the morning, when the fog cleared, the old Observatory appeared on the City’s outskirts. An unknown energy anomaly is raging inside the building and a girl is trapped inside it. What happened there? Why did the City bring it back?\n I will write down my ideas.

  • Careful Exploration

    Juliette

Let’s look around the Greenhouse, mon ami. If someone asked for help, we could find them or at least their trail. I doubt the Greenhouse has an emergency exit to leave the building unnoticed. But be careful. If something happened in there, we could be in danger too.

There are many exotic birds and plants in the Greenhouse. I also see various unusual things from different parts of the world. But I can’t see anyone who could have left a note pleading for help. Where could they have gone? I think it’s time to call in the investigators!

  • To the Bird House

    Valerie

We’re one step away from entering the location. What will we find there? New mysteries of the City are waiting to be uncovered. Go on, enter!

The location is now open! Do you feel the pull of new adventures? The magic of the City is calling out to us!

  • Peacock Talisman

    Isabelle

Ever since the evil Bird Catcher turned Lady Peacock into a bird, she cannot shake off the fear of being turned into one again. Let’s make a special protective talisman for Lady Peacock. Combine the items you’ve collected in the Greenhouse with sources of City magic, and meanwhile I’ll draw the correct runic circle.

A ring has appeared in the center of the activated runic circle - see how it fits the refined personality of Lady Peacock. As long as our princess wears this ring, no spell can turn her into a bird! She has no more reason to worry.

  • No More Feathers

    Detective

I’m glad that Lady Peacock lost her feathers and that Jul didn’t get covered in them, but who gave the Bird Catcher such power? How did he know about the Captain? Who are all these people turned into birds, and how do we restore their human form? Let’s discuss this after celebrating the salvation of Lady Peacock!

  • Five Gates of Knowledge

    Martha

Five correct answers to the Bird Catcher’s riddles brought us closer to saving Lady Peacock, but didn’t defeat the evil spell. The insidious wizard is messing with us again! But I’m ready to perform a ritual using the five items that are supposed to save the princess and Jul. Focus my magic with the power of the City, and let’s put an end to this!

Five riddles, five steps to deceptive happiness... Spirits, hear me, go through the five gates of knowledge with me and reveal the key to the mysterious spell! Through the worlds I have reached the... Contract signed by Lady Peacock and the Bird Catcher! I am tearing it in half! Lady Peacock, you are free!

  • The Last Riddle

    Isabelle

One more riddle and we will free Lady Peacock from the Bird Catcher’s spell. "I have a head, but no heart. I walk, but cannot talk." The first thing that comes to mind is the Mistress of the Manor, but she can talk. Martha says that a hint awaits us in a Gullak Pot. Look for it in the Greenhouse.

What does the shape of this Gullak Pot remind me of... Of course, a piggy bank! A coin is the correct answer. Release Lady Peacock immediately, you evil wizard.

  • Kiss from a Guest

    Lady

What riddle stalled Lady Peacock? We don’t have the right to make a similar mistake! The fourth riddle is: "Every guest kisses me." I often had guests, but they only kissed my hand, and only if they were male... Martha had a vision that the answer is in a Copper Tea Canister. Look for it!

Copper Tea Canister, tell me, who does every decent guest kiss? What a surprise, there’s a cup in the box! Quite a clever riddle. We’re almost there!

  • Thousand-Eyed Monster

    Huntress

If we don’t solve these riddles, Lady Peacock will remain a bird. But be careful. The next riddle talks about a monster! "I am one, but have a thousand eyes." The silly spirits are whispering to Martha about some Kitchen Chest... Find it, and I’ll deal with the monster!

Show yourself, monster from the Kitchen Chest! What? The "I am one, but have a thousand eyes" riddle is talking about an ordinary kitchen strainer? I was mistaken, mein Freund. But we solved the third riddle.

  • Upturned Vessel

    Conductor

Maybe the Bird Catcher’s other riddles are also, ahem, alcohol related? Just listen to it: "A small vessel: turn it down, and it fills, turn it up, and it empties." I’ve never seen such "vessels," but Martha says the spirits whispered something about a Home Chest. Will you find it?

Well, let’s see what kind of vessel is hidden in this chest... A hat? This Bird Catcher has some tricky riddles! I hope he finally sets Lady Peacock free after we solve all the riddles.

  • The Cycle of Seasons

    Doorkeeper

We must save Lady Peacock from the Bird Catcher’s evil spell. I hope Martha’s spirits help us solve his riddles. The first one is: "I am born in summer, die in autumn, and play in winter." I may be the Doorkeeper of Spring, but I know something about other seasons as well. The spirits vaguely hinted at a Rattan Basket. Find it in the Greenhouse!

I doubt the basket itself is the answer... But the bottle of wine in it is! Of course! The grapes ripen in summer, are picked in autumn, and later are turned into wine, which ferments in winter!

    Greenhouse

  • Harbingers of Thunder

    Martha

Every bird is trying to get our attention and make us choose it. All of them are bewitched people. No wonder they want to return to their human appearance. But, alas, we can save only one, and it has to be Lady Peacock. Bring me some artifacts for the ritual. I will try to see the princess in the astral projections of these birds.

The astral plane unfolds before me and I see the projections of humans in their bird bodies. Wait! None of these birds are Lady Peacock! What’s more, we wouldn’t have found her in the Greenhouse - the Bird Catcher hid the princess. There, in that cage... A Thunderbird!

  • Feathery Legend

    Adeline Svensson

You are thinking too superficially! Who told you that the Bird Catcher turned Lady Peacock into a simple bird? Look what I found. "The Aztec saw the Quetzal as an aerial deity, but it dies in captivity." Find me this rare bird!

The Quetzal is a legendary bird. It’s even listed among the endangered species. It’s a good candidate for the role of Lady Peacock, I’m telling you!

    Greenhouse

  • Noble Simplicity

    Monk

Young Juliette is right. Lady Peacock’s inner qualities will tell us which bird she turned into. Her most prominent trait is her noble simplicity. You don’t often see this in a princess. The book says that such traits can be found in an Amethyst Starling. Could you catch it in the Greenhouse?

The Amethyst Starling is modest and at the same time beautiful. Just look at the rich shine of its feathers. Let’s keep it along with the other contenders. This could be our Lady Peacock.

    Greenhouse

  • Lyre of Sadness

    Juliette

You are trying to determine which bird Lady Peacock turned into? But why are you only looking at appearances, mon ami? The princess also has a beautiful soul! For instance, her faithfulness to her beloved. Which bird has a similar trait? A Lyrebird, I think. Could you look for one?

A lovely Lyrebird. It looks so very sad, as if it really misses its beloved. But can we be certain that this is Lady Peacock?
